- Combination made up of a plurality of rectangular-outline storage containers (2) which are open in the upward direction and of a rectangular moulding (1) for accommodating and fixing the storage containers (2), wherein the accommodating surface area of the moulding (1) is an even-numbered multiple of the container surface area and in each case two storage containers (2) are arranged adjacent to one another such that their facing side walls are located symmetrically in relation to the shorter centre longitudinal axis of the moulding (1), wherein on the underside of the moulding (1), said underside being directed away from the accommodating surface, a crosspiece (6) is formed along the centre longitudinal axis and the surface of the said crosspiece is provided with a groove (7) which brings together, and encloses, the facing side walls of in each case two adjacent storage containers (2) arranged beneath the moulding (1) and of which the side edges extend into the respective storage container (2), wherein the channel which forms the groove (7) is widened in a funnel-like manner at its ends (8) such that, when the moulding (1) is initially placed in position obliquely in a direction parallel to the shorter side walls of the containers, the side walls of the funnel-like widening (8) form the guide for the adjacent side walls of the storage containers (2), said side walls penetrating into the groove, and wherein the moulding (1)- is designed in the form of a pallet or- is designed in the form of a cover and has a surrounding edge (10), which encloses the container edges from above.
- Combination according to Claim 1, characterized in that two grooves (7) are provided one behind the other, and in alignment with one another, along the centre longitudinal axis of the moulding (1), and there is a clearance in the region between the channels which form the grooves (7).
- Combination according to either of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the moulding (1) is designed in the form of a pallet of which the lateral supporting elements (4), in the form of feet or runners of the moulding (1), penetrate into the containers (2) from above and are supported on the container edge by way of a shoulder (5).
- Combination according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the upper side of the moulding (1), said upper side forming the bearing surface (3), is enclosed by a vertically upwardly rising edge which extends beyond the plane of the accommodating surface (3) .
