Definitions
- the invention relates to a foam product having the features of claim 1.
- WO 87/06289 also shows a foam cover of the lavatory bowl, the foam carpet here consisting of a multicomponent system and being formed only when the components in the lavatory bowl are mixed and having to be re-formed after each rinsing process.
- a disadvantage of the above-mentioned foams is their low stability of 10 to 40 minutes, so that a longer scavenging with the known foams is not feasible.
- Object of the present invention is therefore to provide an odor-inhibiting foam layer available, which can be produced inexpensively and in a simple manner and which is stable over a long period of time.
- the foam product according to the invention is particularly suitable for the formation of a
- Foam pad in toilet bowl can also be used as a barrier in drains or siphons, to prevent the rising of unpleasant odors.
- the foam pad can be used in deep and shallow toilets as well as in urinals and urinals or as an alternative or supplement to those commonly found in mobile
- foam pad as barrier layer and odor barrier in open sewage tanks or clarifiers.
- the foam product according to the invention consists of 0.5-10% by weight, in particular 7-9% by weight, preferably 8% by weight of a surfactant, 0.5-20% by weight, in particular 12-16% by weight. %, preferably 14% by weight of a foaming active substance, 0-5% by weight, in particular 0.5% by weight of a foam stabilizer, 0-5% by weight, in particular 0.5% by weight Regulatory, especially citric acid monohydrate and wherein the ingredients are dissolved in 70-90% water. Studies on long-term stability revealed that such a foam pad, with preferably between 5 and 25% of the foam product, remained stable for up to 24 hours and maintained the odor-inhibiting effect.
- the surfactant is Na cocoamphoacetate.
- This substance is available, for example, under the trade name REWOTERIC® AM C from Evonik Goldschmidt and can thus be added to the starting solution of the foam product in an always constant concentration and quality.
- REWOTERIC® AM C from Evonik Goldschmidt
- a foaming substance advantageously a 20-70%, preferably a 28% Na-Laurylethersulfatgins is used, which in addition to the foam-forming detergent and also has bactericidal properties and thus shows a cleaning effect during and after the foam degradation.
- Polysaccharide especially hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose used.
- This substance is available, for example, under the trade name TEGOCEL® Fluid HPM 50 from Evonik Goldschmidt and, even at low concentrations, promotes foam stability in low-viscosity compositions.
- the foam product is distributed from a container in the toilet bowl or the drain or other place of use. As low is considered here, if a propellant-free dispensing container is provided with foam valve as a container. As a result, a relatively environmentally friendly use can be ensured.
- such containers are also suitable for refilling, so that the possibility exists, the
- Time intervals is delivered.
- a propellant or pressurized aerosol can that is provided as a container for the foam product a propellant or pressurized aerosol can.
- Foam product has a variable proportion of additives. Depending on
- the purpose of use is preferably biocides, deodorants,
- auxiliaries for the degradation of deposits and / or dyes are added.
- antibiotic substances can reduce the number of bacteria in the toilet. On the one hand, this meets the hygienic needs of the toilet user and, on the other, it can reduce the number of bacteria responsible for the formation of unpleasant odors.
- algaecides or fungicides can also be added.
- deodorants as an additive, which give a pleasant odor on continuous delivery.
- a deodorant is, for example, chloramine T, which also has a high bactericidal activity as an oxidizing agent and additionally acts as a disinfectant and antiseptic.
- the deodorant is, for example, chloramine T, which also has a high bactericidal activity as an oxidizing agent and additionally acts as a disinfectant and antiseptic.
- the deodorant is, for example, chloramine T, which also has a high bactericidal activity as an oxidizing agent and additionally acts as a disinfectant and antiseptic.
- Composition dyes are added to visually enhance the foam pad. For example, the colors blue and yellow are generally perceived as being particularly fresh and a correspondingly colored foam pad is better accepted by the users.
- auxiliaries for the removal of deposits such as lime or urine stone can be added as a further component.
- Foam product formed foam pad in a toilet bowl.
- Fig. 1 shows the toilet bowl 11 of a toilet 10.
- the toilet 10 shown in Fig. 1 operates in the deep rinse mode, i. the excretions fall into the toilet water 15 accumulated in the toilet bowl 11, which fills a siphon 13 which is located under the edge 14 of the basin.
- the foam pad 20 floats on the water surface 12 of the
- Foam pad 20 largely absorbed and effectively prevented odor. Since these u. U. contaminated with germs splashes are suppressed by the foam pad 20, toilets 10 with foam pad 20 for the user are much more hygienic.
- the foam pad 20 is partially decomposed and must be renewed. The same can be done due to the gradually changing pH or the dissolution of the foam pad 20 in the toilet water 15. Due to the
- Composition of the foam pad 20 according to the invention takes place completely Chemical degradation, however, only about 24 hours after the formation. Thereafter, the foam pad 20 from the ready-to-use diluted foam product that in a propellant-free dispensing container with foam valve or a propellant gas or
- stockpiled aerosol can is stored, newly formed.
- the foam pad 20 can of course also be used in flat-rinse toilets, urinals, urinals, drains or as an environmentally friendly alternative to corresponding chemicals in mobile toilet cubicles and sanitary containers.
