Claims (9)
- Method for creating a fold preparation pattern (10) that assigns cutting (11), trimming (12) and/or clipping patterns (13) to a signature (100) in accurate positions,
characterized in
that job-specific signature characteristics (f1... fn) are supplied to a computer (1), and that job-specific cutting requirements (e1...em) are determined by means of general cutting requirements (S1...Sm) that are assigned to respective general signature characteristics (C1...Cn) in the computer (1) and using the job-specific signature characteristics (f1 ... fn),
and that the computer (1) accesses a database (2) containing cutting, trimming and clipping patterns (11, 12, 13) and combines the cutting, trimming and clipping patterns (11, 12, 13) as a fold preparation pattern (10) in accordance with the job-specific cutting requirements (e1...em) . - Method for creating a fold preparation pattern according to claim 1,
characterized in
that the cutting patterns (11) and/or trimming patterns (12) comprise cutting lines, crease lines, and perforation lines. - Method for creating a fold preparation pattern according to claim 2,
characterized in
that a perforation line consists of a plurality of perforation points the position of which on the perforation line is unevenly distributed using an algorithm (5). - Method for creating a fold preparation pattern according to any one of the preceding claims,
characterized in
that the clipping patterns (13) comprise circles, ovals, polygons, and/or crosses. - Method for creating a fold preparation pattern according to any of the preceding claims,
characterized in
that the job-specific signature characteristics (f1... fn) include the type of stock, the format, the target format, the partition, the grammage, the thickness and/or the fold pattern of the signature (100). - Method for creating a fold preparation pattern according to any one of the preceding claims,
characterized in
that the fold preparation pattern (10) is modifiable by inputs into an interface (4) connected to the computer (1) - Method for creating a fold preparation pattern according to any one of the preceding claims,
characterized in
that the fold preparation pattern (10) is supplied to a fold preparation device (1000) and/or stored for repeat orders. - Computer (1) for implementing the method for creating a fold preparation pattern (10) according to any one of the preceding claims.
- A system consisting of a computer (1) according to claim 8 and a folding machine (2000) with a control unit (2001), wherein the folding machine (2000) has positionable guide elements and stops (2002) for guiding sheets, wherein the computer (1) and the control unit (2001) are connected by a data link, and wherein the control unit (2001) communicates position changes of the guide elements and stops (2002) to the computer (1) in order to adapt the fold preparation pattern (10).
