Description

The present invention relates to a road device, as well as a frame for such a device.

It can be applied to a closure device for inspection chimneys of an underground network, such as a manhole or a device for coping with manholes with at least one road grate.

Such street devices include a frame and at least one cover member disposed in the frame.

This frame comprises an erected peripheral wall bordering with clearance all or part of the adjacent edges of the covering element which rests on an inner seat wall integral with the frame perpendicular to the erected peripheral wall.

In the closed position, each covering element can move relatively to the frame, in particular when this element is subjected to high rolling loads constituted in particular by motor vehicles.

Under these conditions, the displacement of each covering element relative to the frame can cause an edge of the covering element to hit the adjacent portion of the peripheral wall erected from the frame, causing noise. Solutions are already known documents DE-20103717-U and JP-63061450-U , or the document EP-0506590-A1 which shows a device according to the preamble of claim 1.

This problem of noise can be aggravated when each covering element consists of two pads or grids in the form of right triangles mounted in the frame so that the hypotenuses of these two triangles are adjacent to one another. Indeed, the high rolling loads circulating on these two triangular buffers or grids also cause the displacement relative to each other of these two covering elements by clashing their two sides with hypotenuses.

The present invention aims to overcome the above disadvantages by providing a road device designed to reduce, or even eliminate, noise resulting from high rolling loads flowing on one or more closure elements of a closure. framework of the road system.

For this purpose, according to the invention, the road device comprising a frame and at least one covering element arranged in the frame comprising an erected peripheral wall, a portion of which borders with clearance at least one adjacent edge of the covering element and an inner seating wall of the covering member perpendicular to the erected peripheral wall, and which is such that the inner seat wall comprises at its portion along the portion of the upright wall bordering the adjacent edge of the covering member at least one pad made of an elastomeric material integral with the upper face of the seat wall portion perpendicular to the latter and which is engaged in a housing of the covering element emerging from the adjacent edge of this element and facing the wall portion erected to form a stop for limiting the displacement of the cover member towards the erected wall portion when the the covering element is subjected to high rolling loads.

Preferably, the inner seat wall portion comprises two pads made of an elastomeric material integral with the upper face of the seat wall portion perpendicularly to the latter, being spaced from one another and which are respectively engaged. in two spaced-apart recesses of the covering element opening out from the adjacent edge of this element and opposite the corresponding upstanding wall part to constitute two limit stops for the displacement of the cover member towards the upstanding wall portion when the cover member is subjected to high rolling loads.

Advantageously, each stud engaged in a corresponding housing of the covering element also constitutes an abutment for limiting the displacement of the covering element in a direction substantially parallel to the portion of wall erected opposite the edge of the covering element when the covering element is subjected to high rolling loads of direction substantially perpendicular to that of the rolling charges causing the displacement of the cover member towards the upright wall portion.

Each covering element may be constituted by a buffer or a grid in the form of a right triangle.

The road device may comprise a second covering element constituted by a buffer or a rectangular triangle-shaped grid and disposed in the frame having its hypotenuse adjacent to the hypotenuse of the first covering element, the edge of the second covering element opposite to the edge of the first cover member being flush with clearance by a portion of the upstanding peripheral wall of the opposite frame and parallel to the facing wall portion facing the edge of the first cover member and the inner wall portion of the frame serving as seated at the edge of the second covering element comprises two pads made of an elastomeric material integral with the upper face of this inner wall portion of the seat perpendicular to it, being spaced apart from one another and which are engaged respectively in two spaced apart housing of the second covering element emerging from the edge of this second element and facing e the opposite upstanding wall portion to constitute two stops for limiting the displacement of the second cover member towards the opposed upstanding wall portion when the second cover member is subjected to high rolling loads.

Each stud engaged in its corresponding recess of the second covering element also constitutes an abutment for limiting the displacement of the second covering element in a direction substantially parallel to the wall portion erected opposite the edge of the second covering element when this covering element is subjected to high rolling loads of direction substantially perpendicular to that of the rolling charges causing the displacement of the second cover member towards the wall portion erected vis-a-vis.

According to an alternative embodiment, the covering element is a square or rectangular pad or grid whose edge opposite the other aforementioned edge is flanked with play by a portion of the peripheral wall erected from the opposite frame and parallel to the portion wall facing up against the other edge of the cover member and the inner wall portion of the frame serving as a seat at the opposite edge of the cover member comprises two pads of an elastomeric material integral with the upper face of the this portion of inner wall seat perpendicular to it being spaced apart from each other and which are respectively engaged in two spaced apart housing of the cover element opening from the edge of this element and facing the part corresponding upstanding wall to constitute two stops for limiting the displacement of the covering element towards the corresponding upstanding wall part and in parallel with the latter when the covering element is subjected to high rolling loads.

Preferably, each abutment stud is constituted by a cylindrical sleeve fixed on the upper face of the corresponding portion of the inner seat wall by a bolt whose screw passes through this part of the seat wall and the sleeve.

The sleeve is fixed in abutment on an inverted U-shaped part secured to the upper face of the internal frame wall portion of the frame, the U-shaped soul of the part being traversed by the bolt which is fixed to the part of inner wall of the seat by a nut housed in the inverted U of the bolted piece so as to axially lock the head of the bolt to the underside of the inner portion of the seat.

Preferably, each abutment stud is based on polychloroprene.

Advantageously, each abutment stud is housed in the corresponding housing of the covering element in a clearance less than the clearance between each erected peripheral wall portion and the adjacent edge of the covering element.

Each housing of a covering element comes from foundry.

When the road device is provided with two rectangular triangle shaped cover elements, the latter are twinned to each other by at least one bolt whose screw passes through two parallel webs secured to the inner faces of the two elements perpendicular to these and a cylindrical sleeve of a plastic material coaxially mounted to the bolt screw between the two webs.

Advantageously, the sleeve is supported by its ends on the two inner faces facing each other of the two webs respectively by means of two washers made of an elastomeric material.

The screw head of the bolt and the nut of the bolt are supported on the two opposite outer faces of the two webs respectively by means of two washers made of an elastomeric material.

Preferably, the sleeve is of the polyamide type, such as nylon, and each washer is based on polychloroprene.

The frame is rectangular in shape and consists of two longitudinal members and two cross members each having a cross section at least one L-shaped.

L'invention vise également un cadre pour dispositif de voirie, comprenant une paroi périphérique dressée et une paroi interne destinée à servir d'assise à au moins un élément de recouvrement et perpendiculaire à la paroi dressée, tel qu'au moins une partie de la paroi interne d'assise comprend au moins un plot en un matériau élastomère fixé sur la face supérieure de la partie de paroi d'assise perpendiculairement à celle-ci, et caractérisé en ce queThe invention also relates to a framework for a road device, comprising an erected peripheral wall and an inner wall intended to serve as a seat for at least one covering element and perpendicular to the erected wall, such that at least a part of the internal seat wall comprises at least one pad made of an elastomeric material fixed on the upper face of the seat wall portion perpendicular thereto, and characterized in that

The sleeve is fixed in abutment on an inverted U-shaped part secured to the upper face of the internal frame wall portion of the frame, the U-shaped soul of the part being traversed by the bolt which is fixed to the part of inner wall of the seat by a nut housed in the inverted U of the bolted piece so as to axially lock the bolt head to the underside of the inner portion of the seat.

Preferably, the pad is based on polychloroprene.

Referring to the figures, the reference numeral 1 designates a road device comprising a rectangular frame 2 and four covering elements 3, 4, 5, 6 which can be arranged in the frame 2 as shown in most of the figures for closing the opening of this frame giving access to a chimney of visit or inspection of an underground network.

In the present case, the covering elements 3-6 are each constituted by a rectangular triangle-shaped pad so that at their closed position of the frame, the two adjacent overlapping elements 3, 4 have their edges of hypotenuses. 3a, 4a adjacent to each other and the other two adjacent overlapping members 5, 6 also have their hypotenuse edges 5a, 6a adjacent to each other. The covering elements 3 to 6 are also arranged in the frame so that the two covering elements 4, 5 are adjacent by two of their respective right edges 4b, 5b and their other respective right edges 4c and 5c adjacent to the edges 4b. 5b are disposed respectively facing the two parallel and opposite side members 7, 8 of the frame 2. The two opposite facing elements 3, 6 have two of their respective right edges 3b, 6b arranged respectively facing the two cross members 9, 10 of the frame 2 fixed to the ends of the two longitudinal members 7, 8 and their other two respective edges 3c, 6c adjacent to the edges 3b, 6b respectively arranged opposite the two longitudinal members 8, 7.

Each of the triangulated covering elements 3, 4, 5, 6 comprises a plurality of cells 11 into which a filling material can be introduced.

For example, the triangulated covering elements may be made of cast iron as the frame 2, but they may be made of any other material such as for example steel.

However, the road device 1 is not limited to the use of four triangulated buffers and apply to the use of only two triangulated pads or several pairs of triangulated pads arranged in one or even more than one frame. independent support.

The cover elements may also be constituted by square or rectangular shaped pads arranged side by side in their support frame.

In the application of the road system to manholes, the covering elements consist of grids that can each have a square or rectangular shape or the shape of a right triangle as for the triangulated pads 3 to 6 described above .

Returning back to Figures 1 to 13 , the longitudinal members 7, 8 of the frame 2 each have, in cross section, an inverted T profile with the upstanding wall 7a of the spar 7 adjacent to the two edges 4c, 6c of the two covering elements 4, 6 and the upstanding wall 8a of the spar 8 adjacent to the two edges 3c, 5c of the two covering elements 3, 5. The upstanding walls 7a, 8a of the longitudinal members 7, 8 define a clearance Ja with the edges 4c, 6c and 3c, 5c of the covering elements 4, 6, 3 As well as with the corresponding end corners of these cover elements.

The two crosspieces 9, 10 of the frame 2 have, in cross section, an L-shaped or angled profile with the upstanding wall 9a of the cross member 9 adjacent to the edge 3b of the covering element 3 and the upstanding wall 10b of the adjacent crossmember 10 at the edge 6b of the covering element 6. The upstanding walls 9a, crosspieces 9, 10 define a clearance Jb with the edges 3b, 6b of the covering elements 3, 6.

Ainsi, les parois dressées 7a, 8a des longerons 7, 8 et 9a, 10a des traverses 9, 10 du cadre 2 bordent avec jeu les bords 3b, 3c, 5c, 6b, 6c et 4c des éléments de recouvrement 3-6.Thus, the upstanding walls 7a, 8a of the longitudinal members 7, 8 and 9a, 10a of the crosspieces 9, 10 of the frame 2 flush with the edges 3b, 3c, 5c, 6b, 6c and 4c of the covering elements 3-6.

The spar 7 of the frame 2 has its base of the inverted T defining an inner wall 7b located in the frame 2 and an outer wall 7c to the frame 2 extending along the upright wall 7a perpendicular to the latter. The inner wall 7b serves as a seat for the two covering elements 4, 6, that is to say that the edges 4c and 6c of these cover elements are supported on the inner wall 7b. More specifically, the edges 4c and 6c of the covering elements 4, 6 comprise support legs P, for example at the number of two at the ends of each of these edges and which bear against corresponding pads 12 fixed, for example by welding on the upper face of the inner wall 7b. In addition, the end corner of the covering element 5 defined by the hypotenuse edge 5a and the adjacent edge 5b also rests with a foot P on a pad 12 secured to the upper face of the inner wall 7b of the spar. 7 and it is the same with respect to the end corner of the covering element-3 defined by the hypotenuse edge 3a and the adjacent edge 3b of this element.

The spar 8 of the frame 2 has its base of the inverted T defining an inner wall 8b disposed in the frame 2 and an outer wall 8c to the frame 2 extending along the upright wall 8a perpendicular to the latter. The inner wall 8b serves as a seat for the two covering elements 3, 5. More precisely, the two edges 3c, 5c of the two covering elements 3, 5 rest on the inner wall 8b of the spar 8 via two feet. P located for example at the two ends of each of these edges, which feet are supported on pads 12 fixed, for example by welding, on the upper face of the inner wall 8b of 8. Furthermore, the end corner of the covering element 4 defined between its hypotenuse edge 4a and its adjacent edge 4b is also supported on the inner wall 8b of the beam 8 via a foot P and a shoe 12 is integral with the upper face of the wall 8b and it is the same with respect to the end corner of the covering element 6 defined by its hypotenuse edge 6a and its adjacent edge 6b.

The two crosspieces 9, 10 comprise an outer wall 9b, 10b perpendicular to the upstanding wall 9a, 10a and which extends in the same plane as the walls 7b, 7c and 8b, 8c of the longitudinal members 7, 8.

The outer walls 7c, 8c of the longitudinal members 7, 8 and the outer walls 9b, 10b of the crosspieces 9, 10 are used for fixing the frame 2 to the ground.

According to the invention, the inner seat wall 7b of the spar 7 comprises, by its part situated along the upright wall portion 7a bordering the adjacent edge 4c of the covering element 4, two studs 13 made of an elastomer material integral with the upper face of the seat wall portion 7b perpendicular to the latter.

The two studs 13 are spaced from one another along the seat wall portion 7b of the spar 7 and the material constituting them is preferably based on polychloroprene known under the name "neoprene" and which is a synthetic elastomer.

Similarly, the inner seat wall portion 7b located along the upstanding wall portion 7a of the spar 7 bordering the adjacent edge 6c of the cover member 6 comprises two studs 13 of an elastomeric material identical to the pads 13 previously described and which are integral with the upper face of the seat wall portion 7b perpendicular to the latter.

In addition, the inner seat wall 8b of the spar 8 comprises two pairs of studs 13 of a material identical elastomeric pads previously described and which are fixed to the upper face of the seat wall 8b perpendicularly thereto being spaced apart from each other along the wall 8b. Two studs 13 of the same pair are attached to the inner seat wall portion 8b located along the upright wall portion 8a bordering the adjacent edge 3c of the cover member 3 while the other two studs 13 of the other pair are located on the inner seat wall portion 8b located along the upstanding wall portion 8a bordering the adjacent edge 5c of the cover member 5.

The pads of elastomeric material 13 fixed to the seat wall 7b of the spar 7 and the pads made of elastomeric material 13 fixed to the seat wall 8b of the spar 8 are pairwise located along the same axis perpendicular to the two side members 7, 8.

Preferably, each stud 13 is constituted by a cylindrical sleeve which is fixed on the upper face of the corresponding portion of the inner seat wall 7b, 8b of a spar 7, 8 by a bolt 14, the screw 15 passes through the portion corresponding seat wall 7b, 8b and the pad 13, and the nut 16, of the nylstop kind, --- opposite to the seat wall portion 7b, 8b, axially holds the pad 13 while bearing on the upper face of the latter.

L'âme de la pièce en U reversé s'étend parallèlement à la paroi dressée correspondante 7a, 8a du longeron 7, 8.The stud 13 is held in abutment by its lower end on the core of an U-shaped part 17 fixed, for example by welding, on the upper face of the seat wall portion 7b, 8b. The core of the upright U-shaped piece extends parallel to the corresponding upstanding wall 7a, 8a of the spar 7, 8.

The screw 15 of the fixing bolt 14 is fixed to the seat wall portion 7b, 8b by a nut 18, for example square, housed in the inverted U-shaped part 17 and for locking the head 15a of the screw 15 support on the underside of the portion of the seat wall 7b, 8b by means of two washers 19.

Each pad 13 can be clamped on the U-shaped part 17 by the bolt 14 without being axially elastically deformed by compression and the elastomer material of the stud 13 allows an elastic deformation in the radial direction as will be seen later.

Each covering element 3, 4, 5, 6 comprises two excavations 20 coming from the foundry with the covering element and which are formed in the corresponding edge 3c, 4c, 5c, 6c of the element opening from this edge towards the 'outside.

Each excavation 20 extends from the outer or upper face of the corresponding covering element in a general direction perpendicular to this face without opening the latter.

By way of example, as is clear from the figure 7 each excavation 20 has in section in a plane perpendicular to the outer face of the corresponding covering member and parallel to its edge a generally semicylindrical upper blind portion 21 extended, opposite the outer face of the covering element , by a bottom flared bottom portion 22 of generally half-truncated cone, and opening opposite the outer face of the cover member.

The two excavations 20 of a covering element are spaced from each other along the corresponding edge of this element by a distance equal to the distance separating two elastomeric pads 13 from a portion of the seat wall. 7b, 8b of the longitudinal members 7, 8 of the frame 2.

Thus, when each covering element 3-6 occupies its closed position of the opening of the frame 2, two excavations 20 of a covering element 3-6 are opposite the corresponding upstanding wall portion 7a, 8a of the spar 7, 8 and two of the studs 13 secured to the upright wall portion 7b, 8b of these longitudinal members are housed with clearance respectively in the two excavations 20 of the corresponding covering element.

As it stands out better from figure 5 each stud assembly 13 and nut 16 is housed in the corresponding excavation 20 of a covering element and the radial clearance Jc between the sleeve of the stud 13 and the internal face of the upper part 21 of the excavation 20 in a manner that perpendicular direction to the wall erected in the present case 7a of the spar 7 remains always lower than the clearance Ja between the upper edge of the cover member 4 and the wall 7a.

Under these conditions, the two studs 13 respectively housed in two excavations 20 of a covering element 3-6 constitute stops for limiting the displacement of the covering element towards the corresponding upstanding wall part 7a, 8a when the element overlap is subjected to significant forces directed substantially perpendicular to the corresponding upright wall portion 7a, 8a of the longitudinal members 7, 8 resulting from high rolling loads due to a large traffic of vehicles traveling on the cover element.

Indeed, when the covering element 3-6 moves towards the corresponding upstanding wall portion 7b, 8b of the longitudinal members 7, 8, the inner face of the upper portion 21 of each excavation 20 bears on the stud 13 which is radially elastically deformed but whose radial compressibility is such that it prevents the edges 3c; 4c; 5c; 6c corresponding overlapping elements 3-6 to strike the corresponding upstanding wall portion 7a, 8a, thereby substantially reducing noise nuisance.

The pads 13 thus behave as silentblocs to reduce noise during any displacement of the covering elements 3-6 in their setting when subjected to heavy vehicle traffic.

In addition, the figure 7 shows that, in a direction parallel to the upstanding wall portion 7a, 8a of the longitudinal members 7, 8, the upper portion 21 of each excavation 20 defines with the corresponding elastomeric pad 13 two sets Jc, each equal to the set Jc previously defined of way that the two studs 13 housed in the excavations 20 of a covering member constitute two stops for limiting the displacement of this element in a direction substantially parallel to the upstanding wall portion 7a, 8a located opposite the corresponding edge of the covering element when the latter is subjected to high rolling loads, resulting from heavy vehicle traffic, and direction substantially perpendicular to that of the rolling charges causing the displacement of this covering element towards the upstanding wall portion 7a, 8a struts 7, 8. In this way, the pads 13 also consist of stops limiting the displacement of at least the two opposing covering elements 3, 6 to the upright walls 9a, 10a of the crosspieces 9, - 10 to prevent the edges 3b, 6b of these elements from striking the raised walls 9a, 10a, thus reducing the noise nuisance.

The figure 13 is a bottom view showing the assembly or the pairing of two overlapping elements 3 and 4 or 5 and 6 in a right triangle.

Thus, two overlapping elements 3, 4 or 5, 6 of the same pair and adjacent by their respective hypotenuses 3a, 4a or 5a, 6a are assembled to each other by at least one bolt 30 whose screw 31 crosses two substantially parallel webs 32 secured to the internal faces of the two covering elements, for example the elements 3, 4, perpendicular to them, the two webs 32 being also arranged substantially parallel to the two hypotenuse edges 3a, 4a of these two cover elements.

A cylindrical sleeve 33 of a plastic material is mounted coaxially with the screw 31 of the bolt 30 between the two webs 32 and the sleeve 33 is supported by its ends on the two inner faces facing each other of the two sails 32 respectively via two washers 34 also made of an elastomeric material.

The screw 31 of the bolt 30 extends perpendicularly through the two webs 32 and has its head 31a resting on one of the faces of a web 32 opposite the sleeve 33 via a washer made of an elastomeric material 35 with the interposition of a metal washer 36 between the washer 35 and the screw head 31a. The nut 37, for example of the nylstop type, of the bolt 30 is supported on the outer face of the other web 32 opposite the sleeve 33, by means of a washer made of an elastomeric material 38 with the interposition of a metal washer 39 between the washer 38 and the nut 37.

De préférence, le manchon 33 est du type polyamide, tel que par exemple du nylon, et les rondelles 34, 35 et 38 sont en -un matériau à base de -polychloroprène comme pour les plots 13 et deux éléments de recouvrement adjacents 3, 4 ; 5, 6 sont assemblés l'un à l'autre par deux boulons parallèles espacés 30.Preferably, the sleeve 33 is of the polyamide type, such as for example nylon, and the washers 34, 35 and 38 are made of a polychloroprene-based material as for the studs 13 and two adjacent overlapping elements 3, 4 ; 5, 6 are assembled to each other by two spaced parallel bolts 30.

The assembly of two triangulated covering elements 3, 4; 5, 6 by the bolt assembly 30, sleeve 33 and washers 34, 35, 38 can limit the displacement relative to each other of these two elements to prevent their edges of hypotenuses 3a, 4a; 5a, 6a come into contact with each other when the two covering elements are subjected to high rolling loads due to heavy traffic of vehicles, reducing noise.

As already explained above, the road device of the invention can be applied to elements of covering, each of square or rectangular shape and constituted by a buffer or a grid and which can be arranged in one or more frames.

In this case, the opposite, inwardly facing, wall portion portions of the frame along the corresponding upstanding wall portions of this frame and bordering with clearance respectively two opposite parallel edges of a square or rectangular cover member comprise two opposed pairs of pads made of an elastomeric material integral with the seat wall portions perpendicularly to the latter and which are respectively engaged in two housings of the covering element emerging from the two opposite edges of this element facing the parts of the erected walls of the frame to constitute stops for limiting the displacement of the cover member towards opposite upstanding portions of the frame or parallel thereto when the cover member is subjected to high rolling loads in opposite directions, one perpendicular to the parts erected walls of the frame and the other parallel to these parts by erected.

The road device of the invention makes it possible to limit the displacement of one or more covering elements in one or more corresponding frames and to effectively reduce the noise nuisance during these displacements due to an intense traffic of vehicles on each of these vehicles. covering elements.
