る方法をとつてきた。然し乍ら、マンホール用の
蓋と受枠は、強度的に丈夫で錆が発生しにくい等
の理由により主として鋳鉄で製造されており、従
つて寸法誤差も長さ1000mmに対して±5mmと他の
工業製品に比らべ多いことが許容されており、鋼
鉄製の平鋼板により製作されるので比較的寸法精
度の良い格子状溝蓋においても、受枠がコンクリ
ート溝に埋設し取り付けられるため、受枠の間隙
を精度よく施工することは困難で、騒音防止のた
め提案されている突起や板ばねを蓋や受枠に取付
