Abstract

Ein Ventil (1), insbesondere ein fremdkraftbetätigtes Wege-Sitzventil, mit einem in einem Ventilraum (3) eines Ventilgehäuses (5) verfahrbar angeordneten Ventilelement (7) zum Führen von unter einem Mediendruck stehenden Fluidströmen und zum wahlweisen Freigeben oder Sperren einer Verbindung (9) zwischen einem Versorgungsanschluss (11) und mindestens einem Nutzanschluss (13), das auf vor- und rückseitig gelegenen Querschnittsflächen (15, 17) mit dem jeweiligen Versorgungsdruck (p) beaufschlagbar ist, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass für ein unabhängig von dem jeweils herrschenden Mediendruck führbares Ventilelement (7) der in den Ventilraum (3) ragende Bereich (19) des Ventilelements (7) eine weitere Querschnittsfläche (21) aufweist, welche flächenmäßig einer, dem Ventilraum (3) abgewandten, weiteren wirksamen Querschnittsfläche (23) entspricht und dass diese beiden weiteren Querschnittsflächen (21, 23) einem regelmäßig vom Medien- und/oder Versorgungsdruck (p) unterschiedlichen Druck (po) insbesondere gebildet durch den Umgebungsdruck, gleichermaßen ausgesetzt sind.
