  • FIG. 5 Another measure shown in figure 5 is the presence of a band 6 which is already adhered to roof covering element 1 and which serves to cover the join between adjacent roof covering elements. Logistics are simplified by already adhering this band 6 to one side of roof covering elements 1. Use can be made for adhesion purposes of heating or glueing, although band 6 can also be co-extruded in the extrusion process.
  • FIG. 6 shows a roof construction, wherein not only roof covering elements 2 but also roof segments 8 therebetween are placed on the substrate of the roof which serve to improve the thermal insulation of the whole roof construction.
  • Roof segments 8 are each manufactured for instance from expanded polystyrene, PUR or PIR.
  • the roof segments are each provided with a number of fastening strips 3 which are not necessarily though preferably attached to the roof covering elements. A saving in fastening material is hereby also achieved.
  • the upper side of each of the roof segments 8 is also provided with a layer of loop material 5. With the thus obtained configuration it is possible to arrange an insulating layer between substrate 4 and the roof covering elements.

Claims (6)

  1. Elément de couverture de toit (1) pour un toit sensiblement plat, comprenant une couche de matériau étanche à l'eau souple (2), tel qu'un matériau bitumineux ou du plastique, et une couche de matériau d'accrochage (3) hérissée de crochets s'étendant au moins partiellement sur la surface inférieure de l'élément de couverture de toit (1) et qui est apte à entrer en prise avec un matériau de fixation (5) fixé au substrat (4) du toit, dans lequel le matériau d'accrochage (3) est agencé sous la forme de bandes de fixation séparées distribuées sur la surface de l'élément de couverture de toit (1), dans lequel l'élément de couverture de toit (1) est apte à être attaché à un substrat (4) revêtu du matériau de fixation (5) s'étendant sur la totalité de la surface du substrat (4), caractérisé en ce qu'au moins une bande de fixation (3) comprend au moins une première partie et une deuxième partie qui sont séparées par un faux joint, et en ce que la première partie et la deuxième partie sont toutes les deux connectées à la couche de matériau souple, et en ce qu'une troisième partie est située entre la première partie et la deuxième partie et est connectée de façon détachable à la couche de matériau souple ou n'est pas connectée à la couche de matériau souple.
  2. Elément de couverture de toit (1) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de couverture de toit présente une forme rectangulaire, et en ce que la couche de matériau souple (2) est apte à être placée d'une manière aboutante ou d'une manière chevauchante.
  3. Elément de couverture de toit (1) selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que la couche de matériau d'accrochage (3) est agencée sous la forme de bandes sur la couche de matériau souple (2), et en ce que l'élément de couverture de toit (1) présente une forme allongée, et en ce que les bandes sont agencées dans la direction longitudinale ou transversale de l'élément de couverture de toit.
  4. Elément de couverture de toit (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la couche de matériau étanche à l'eau souple (2) comprend au moins deux couches, dont la couche inférieure est apte à former une connexion avec une structure sous-jacente à la façon d'un chevauchement et la couche supérieure est apte à supporter le rayonnement solaire.
  5. Elément de couverture de toit (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la couche de matériau d'accrochage (3) est agencée par l'intermédiaire d'un support de type membrane sur le matériau bitumineux ou sur le plastique.
  6. Procédé pour agencer un élément de couverture de toit (1) selon l'une des revendications précédentes 1 à 5, sur un toit horizontal sensiblement plat (4), comprenant les étapes de fixation d'une couche de matériau de fixation (5) sur le toit sensiblement plat et de pose d'éléments de couverture de toit (1) selon l'une des revendications précédentes 1 à 5 sur la couche de matériau de fixation, dans lequel le matériau de fixation est apte à se mettre en prise avec le matériau d'accrochage (3) desdits éléments de couverture de toit (1).
