Device for vertically securing pipes having various diameters for elevator systems for receiving, lifting and depositing a pipe string or individual pipe segments on oil platforms, said device consisting of a base element for forming a cylindrical bush with a swivel joint for a connected door element for completing the bush, wherein said swivel joint has a fastener which is arranged in a spaced-apart manner and which possesses a swivellable locking arrangement with a fastening bolt, and the closing movement can be set via an associated hydraulic positioning cylinder, wherein cylindrical segments (7) for forming the cylindrical bush (5) in diameters of various sizes are arranged in an interchangeable manner in the base element (1) and door element (3) via guide profiles (8) on the reverse side, and the upper sides of the individual cylindrical segments (7) are connected, via securing rings (10) which are associated in a manner capable of being pushed on horizontally, to corresponding receptacles (21), and wherein, as a result of the reception of pipes in the cylindrical bush (5) and the loading that occurs, a spring-loaded actuating arm (11) is adjustable in its height via a cylindrical segment (7) and interlocking of the hydraulic positioning cylinder (6) can be set, via an associated load sensor (12), for the closing movement, characterised in that profile rails (9) associated with the guide profiles are arranged in the base element (1) and door element, that a cylindrical segment (7) in the base element has a protruding trigger-bolt (17) which controls the positioning cylinder (6) for the closing movement after pipes have been received, and that said trigger-bolt (17) is connected, via a spring (24), to a hollow-piston cylinder (18) which keeps said trigger-bolt (17) in a retracted position after activation of the positioning cylinder (6).
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the cylindrical segments (7) have, in the lower part, holding elements (15) for corresponding reception in the base element (1) and door element (3).
  3. Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that three cylindrical segments (7) are arranged in the base element (1), and two cylindrical segments (7) of the cylindrical bush (5) are arranged in the door element (3).
