The device has a lubrication system for lubrication of a path portion (2) of a guide rail (1) to facilitate movement in translation of the rail with respect to a ground surface. The path portion of the rail is continuously formed by successive recesses based on thickness of the rail along predefined widths of the recesses, and is alternately arranged at two sides of the rail in planes parallel to each other. Each recess is filled with an elastomer material. An angle iron is positioned on two sides of a base of the rail. The elastomer material is polyurethane resin, foam or silicone.

Description

The present invention relates to the field of guide rails in pavement and more particularly to the expansion devices for guide rails in pavement.

The application of the present invention relates in particular to certain vehicles widely used in public transport. These vehicles generally have a bearing and a bearing provided by tires, while the guiding is performed by a single metal central rail between two tire lanes and against which are positioned rollers inclined rolling which enslave a steering system of the vehicle concerned . The field of application may also concern vehicles whose carrying is ensured, not by tires, but by iron wheels mounted on railway rails.

The guide rail conventionally comprises an upper mushroom carried by a shoe which forms the base of the rail via an axis whose thickness is generally less than that of the mushroom. The mushroom comprises, him, five facets intended to interact with the vehicle for the operation of the latter:
  • an upper facet against which is positioned the friction of the vehicle,
  • two upper lateral faces against which the rollers of the vehicle are positioned in normal operation,
  • two lower side facets against which are positioned the rollers of the vehicle in exceptional operation.

These guide rails can be caused to undergo expansion stresses, either direct under the action of heat variations on the rail itself, or indirect when the rail crosses expansion joints specific to certain structures, such as only bridges, viaducts, etc. whose permissiveness is too important.

To overcome these constraints, expansion devices have been put in place. Some of these devices are made by a junction at two successive rails in the form of bevels or bayonets. However, such a solution is not applicable to a guide rail, of which the different facets of the mushroom are intended to interact with a vehicle system.

The document WO 2010/018310 proposes a guide rail expansion device, a rail portion of which is formed by a succession of independent lamellae having the same profile as a section of the rail and linked together by an elastomer. These different slats are able to withstand expansion thanks to a guide in translation provided by traversing axes which carry these slats. However, such a solution does not retain the entire rail profile and does not allow the positioning of elastic ruts necessary for the ejection of obstacles. In addition, this solution is based solely on the presence of an elastic elastomer to ensure a limitation of the clearance between two successive lamellae, which does not prevent excessive spacing of these lamellae.

The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages.

For this purpose, it relates to a device for dilating a rail adapted to guide wheels of at least one vehicle on a track, characterized in that the rail comprises a portion of continuous track formed by a plurality of successive clearances in the thickness of the rail according to predefined clearance widths and arranged alternately on either side of the rail in planes parallel to each other to eliminate any axial continuity of the rail at the portion of the track.

The invention relates to a device for dilating a rail 1 adapted to guide a wheel of at least one vehicle on a track.

According to the invention, the expansion device is characterized in that the rail 1 comprises a continuous track portion 2 formed by a plurality of successive clearances 5 in the thickness of the rail 1 according to predefined clearance widths 5 and arranged alternately on either side of the rail 1 in planes parallel to each other to eliminate any axial continuity of the rail 1 at the portion of track 2. This particular arrangement aims to maintain a material continuity of the rail 1 at the level of portion of track 2 while generating an axial discontinuity of the rail 1 so as to allow the rail 1 to withstand axial deformation. Thus, the successive clearances 5 may be positioned in planes perpendicular to a plane passing through the axis of the track portion 2. However, to ensure the axial discontinuity of the rail 1, these parallel planes between them must not include the axis of the track portion 2.

Indeed, the larger the expansion movement to manage is important and more it is necessary to have a high number of clearance at the track portion 2 of the rail 1.

These clearances 5 can thus form grooves, each of which separates the rail 1 in two parts over a portion of a width or thickness of the rail 1 leaving a junction 11 between these two parts to ensure continuity. According to a preferred but nonlimiting embodiment, at least one of the openings 5 of the device corresponds to more than sixty percent (60%) of the surface of a corresponding section of the rail 1.

According to a preferred but non-limiting embodiment of the invention, these clearances 5 are arranged alternately on either side of the rail 1 on the track portion 2. Although this alternation of the arrangement of the clearances 5 is preferably carried out by relative to the two sides of the rail 1, the alternation of the clearances 5 can be considered with respect to the upper and lower faces of the rail 1.

The alternation of clearances 5 on either side of the rail 1 at the portion of deformable track 2 allows an improvement in the capacity of the portion of track 2 to be deformed when the bottom of each of the grooves that form the clearances 5 is closer to the edge of the rail 1 where is positioned the junction 11 between the two parts of the rail 1 separated by the clearance 5.

The alternation of clearances 5 on either side of the rail 1 allows the successive clearances 5 to cross the plane of symmetry of the rail 1 and to interlock with each other, so that the bottom of a first clearance positioned or open to one side of the rail 1 is disposed between two clearances positioned or open towards the opposite side of the rail 1. This arrangement thus makes it possible to provide the track portion 2 a substantially sinusoidal profile capable of ensuring the rail 1 a certain elasticity in translation while maintaining unity and continuity of the track portion 2 through the junction points 11.

Thus, during a separation of the ends of the track portion 2, this spacing causes a separation of the lateral faces of each of the grooves 5 and an opening of each of the clearances 5. Similarly, during a contraction with a rapprochement of ends of the portion of track 2, this approximation results in the reduction of the space separating the two lateral faces of each of the grooves 5 and a closure of each of the openings 5.

To avoid any undesirable intrusion into the clearances 5 when the channel portion 2 is stretched, each of these clearances 5 is filled by an elastomer adapted to withstand the distortion deformations experienced by said clearance 5. The elastomer used may be a resin polyurethane type, foam or silicone.

En effet, ces jonctions 11 présentent des sections inférieures à la section complète du rail 1.The guide rail 1 can be made to participate in the power supply of the vehicle, in particular via the head of the rail 1 in contact with a wiper and rollers 7 of the vehicle. The physical continuity of the track portion 2 between the successive successive clearances at the junction points 11 is not sufficient to allow the transmission of the entire electric current through the track portion 2. Indeed, these junctions 11 have sections lower than the complete section of the rail 1.

Also to overcome this drawback, the device of the invention may comprise at least one electrical bypass means 9 or shunting between the upstream and downstream of the continuous track portion 2 of the rail 1 of the device. This derivation is thus achieved by a copper equivalent formed by one or more cables connected on the one hand to a portion of track located upstream and on the other hand to a portion of track located downstream of the portion of track 2 continuous rail 1.

According to a preferred embodiment, the device of the invention comprises means 8 making it possible to limit an excessive opening of the clearances 5. In fact, following the different stresses on the track portion 2, the spacing between the side walls the different clearances 5 of the track portion 2 does not perform homogeneously and is not always identical for each of the clearances 5. Thus, during an expansion, the spacing between the side walls of one of the Clearances 5 may occur beyond the breaking point of the springing elasticity 5 or produce a clearance greater than a permissible limit, for example 10 millimeters.

Also, according to a non-limiting embodiment of the invention, the expansion device includes jumpers 8 arranged to limit the opening of a first (n) clearance 5 by positioning a leg in each of the juxtaposed clearances 5 ( n-1; n + 1) at the first (n) clearance 5. Each of the jumpers 8 is thus positioned so as to span the first (n) clearance 5 which it must limit the spacing. A first leg of the rider is then housed in the clearance 5 positioned upstream (n-1) of the first (n) limited clearance 5 and a second leg of the rider is housed in the clearance 5 positioned downstream (n + 1) of the first (n) limited clearance. The clearances 5 positioned upstream (n + 1) and downstream (n-1) are clearances 5 whose opening is oriented towards the side of the rail 1 opposite to that towards which the opening of the first (n) clearance 5 limited by rider 8.

According to a particular embodiment, the legs of each of the jumpers 8 are positioned in recesses 6 adapted in their respective recesses 5. According to a non-limiting embodiment of the invention, these housings 6 are arranged in the bottom of the recesses 5. Each of these recesses 6 can be formed by a localized enlargement of a recess 5.

Ce logement 12 particulier est arrangé avec la jambe du cavalier 8 qui l'occupe pour être solidaire en mouvement avec la partie du rail 1 situé à ce niveau de la portion de voie 2.Preferably, the different successive housings 6 of the track portion 2 can be arranged to receive the legs of two jumpers 8 which limit the openings of two successive clearances 5 and whose openings are oriented towards the same side of the rail 1. The housing is also preferably arranged to allow a translation of the legs of the jumpers 8 in the housing 6 along the axis of the track portion 2 of the rail 1. Thus, the same housing 6 positioned in the bottom of a first (n) clearance 5 receives both a leg of the rider 8 which limits the opening of the clearance 5 positioned downstream (n + 1) and both a leg of the rider 8 which limits the opening of the clearance 5 positioned upstream (n-1). On the other hand, at the end of the track portion 2, the housing 12 intended to receive one of the legs of the rider 8 which limits the opening of the first or the last of the successive clearances 5 is not disposed in the depth of a clearance but corresponds to a recess or a bore in one end of the rail 1, close to the clearance limited by the rider 8. This particular housing 12 is arranged with the leg of the rider 8 which occupies it for solidarity with the moving part of the rail 1 located at this level of the track portion 2.

According to a preferred but nonlimiting embodiment of the invention, in the track portion 2 of the rail 1, the cutouts of the recesses 5 and the different housings 6 and 12 may include leaves or softened shapes in order to limit the concentrations of mechanical stresses in the remaining part of the rail 1.

When an expansion stress is imposed on the rail 1, the track portion 2 undergoes stretching. The successive successive clearances 5 open, separating the jumpers 8 consecutively to a maximum distance reached when the legs of each of the jumpers 8 come into contact with one of the side walls of their respective seats 6.

Cette valeur minimale peut atteindre par exemple deux millimètres (2 mm).Conversely, when a retraction stress is imposed on the rail 1, the track portion 2 undergoes axial compression. The successive successive releases 5 close, bringing the riders consecutively closer to reaching a minimum distance once the legs of the riders 8 of the same housing 6 come into contact with each other. The minimum value of the width of the clearances 5 can thus be controlled and / or limited to a non-zero value. This minimum value can reach for example two millimeters (2 mm).

In addition, according to one embodiment of the invention, the expansion device is characterized in that the continuous track portion 2 of the rail 1 is held on the ground by at least one pair of brackets 4 positioned on either side of the shoe of the rail 1 so as to form a sliding axis allowing translational movements along the axis of the rail 1. According to a preferred embodiment but not limiting of the invention, the sliding of the portion of the track 2 relative to on the ground, or with respect to a fixed element on the ground, is maintained under the action of a lubrication or lubrication maintained by a lubrication system 10 integrated in the expansion device.

Par ailleurs, afin de permettre une éjection efficace d'obstacles qui seraient positionnés au niveau de la portion de voie 2, le dispositif de dilatation de l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'au moins une des cornières 4 du dispositif est surmontée d'une ornière élastique 3 au niveau d'au moins une portion du rail 1.Moreover, in order to allow efficient ejection of obstacles that would be positioned at the portion of track 2, the expansion device of the invention is characterized in that at least one of the angles 4 of the device is surmounted by an elastic rut 3 at the level of at least a portion of the rail 1.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and shown in the accompanying drawings. Modifications are possible, particularly from the point of view of the constitution of the various elements or by substitution of technical equivalents, without departing from the scope of protection of the invention.
