- Drain valve 1 extends substantially along an axis A, and comprises a supporting structure 3 fixable (e.g. by means of a threaded sleeve 4) to a bottom wall of the tank and having a drain hole 5 bounded by a sealing seat 6; and a valve body 7 housed to slide along axis A inside supporting structure 3, and having a shutter 8 at the bottom, which cooperates with sealing seat 6 to close drain hole 5.
- Valve body 7 is raised by a known actuating mechanism 9 not described or shown in detail for the sake of simplicity. (In the example shown, mechanism 9 is cable-controlled, but may be of any other known type).

- Top wall 23 has an inner surface 25 facing opening 15; and an outer surface 26 opposite inner surface 25. And inner surface 25 is raised a few millimetres with respect to edge 16 and, more specifically, with respect to face 21.

- Lateral wall 24 extends substantially about axis A, and, in the example shown, is substantially parallel to or slopes slightly with respect to axis A.
