Claims (14)

  1. A fitting arrangement for adjusting a backrest element (26) of a piece of seating/ reclining furniture (10),
    comprising a parallel connecting rod arrangement which comprises a pair of connecting rods (48) which are disposed in a common adjustment plane and which are preferably identical,
    wherein the one end of the respective connecting rods (48) fixes a first pivot point for the pivotal connection of a base frame (12) of the seating/reclining furniture (10) and the other end thereof fixes a second pivot point for the pivotal connection of the backrest element (26);
    wherein axes of rotation extending through the pivot points extend in parallel with one another and perpendicular to the adjustment plane; and
    wherein the pivot points form the corners of a parallelogram in the state pivotally connected to the base frame (12) and to the backrest element (26).
  2. A fitting arrangement in accordance with claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the connecting rods (48) are coupled to one another by a synchronisation rod (50) which is preferably angled and/or cranked, once or a multiple of times,
