BESCHREIBUNG VON AUSFÜHRUNGSBEISPIELENDESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

In der horizontalen Stellung der Tischplatte 3, siehe Fig. 4, befinden sich der zapfen 12 und die Buchse 13 in einer zweiten Stellung zueinander, in welcher das Bremselement 15 komprimiert gegen die Buchse 13 bzw. deren Innenfläche 25 anliegt. Claims (7)

  1. Braked bearing (5), in particular for a piece of furniture (1),
    - comprising a journal (12);
    - comprising a socket (13) which receives the journal (12) in a rotatably mounted manner; and
    - comprising a resiliently compressible braking element (15), which is formed for example of polyurethane and which is rotationally engaged with the journal (12);
    - wherein the journal (12) and the socket (13), with respect to one another, have a first position, in which the braking element (15), which is arranged in a recess (23) of the socket (13), is substantially relaxed, and a second position, in which the braking element (15) is positioned substantially compressed against a sliding face of the socket (13) so as to produce a frictional force
    - wherein the journal (12) comprises on the periphery (22) thereof a recess (16), which receives the braking element (15), extends in the journal (12) along the central axis (17) thereof, and is in the form of a hole which is eccentric with respect to the central axis (17) of the journal (12).
  2. Bearing according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the socket (13) comprises a recess (23) in which the braking element (15) is arranged in the first position.
  3. Bearing according to claim 2, characterised in that the socket (13) comprises a sliding face (24) which follows on from the recess (23) and encloses the journal (12) so as to mount it, the braking element (15) being positioned compressed against the sliding face (24) in the second position.
  4. Bearing according to claim 3, characterised in that the sliding face (24) and the recess (23) approximately form a pear shape as seen along the central axis (17) of the journal (12).
  5. Bearing according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the braking element (15) is in the form of a complete cylinder and/or is formed from polyurethane.
  6. Piece of furniture (1), in particular a folding table, comprising at least one bearing (5) according to any one of the preceding claims.
  7. Folding table according to claim 6, characterised in that, by means of the at least one bearing (5), a table top (3) is attached to a table frame (2) so as to be mounted pivotably between a vertical position and a horizontal position thereof, the journal (12) and the socket (13), with respect to one another, being in the first position thereof in the vertical position of the table top (3) and in the second position thereof in the horizontal position of the table top (3), in such a way that pivoting of the table top (3) from the vertical position thereof into the horizontal position thereof is braked.
