Definitions
- the invention relates to a wall assembly for metal window sills, in particular for window sills made of aluminum with compensating strip of elastically deformable material, which is at least partially enclosed by a cover profile.
- a respective end profile is attached to the respective of the respective window reveal end facing the window sill, which is provided on the top, the bottom and on the window frame facing the back with a compensating strip of elastically deformable material. Furthermore, the end profile is enclosed at least on the outside, as well as on the top and bottom of a supporting himself on the compensating strip achssenkrecht directed to the windowsill cover profile. Because the proposed compensating strips consist of relatively thin-walled rubber profiles, on which the cover profile which is in direct contact with the mortar plaster of the window reveal is supported, the danger to be avoided that the cover moves as a result of the longitudinal extent of the window sill can not be ruled out with sufficient certainty.
- the invention is accordingly an object of the invention to provide a simple and inexpensive to produce wall assembly of the type mentioned, which is able to compensate for large temperature-induced changes in length of window sills and at the same time to prevent the unwanted ingress of rainwater in the window reveals.
- the wall-side end edges of the sill are each provided with a substantially vertically upwardly directed wall bar, and that on the wall bar at least approximately completely enclosing the wall bar, elastically resilient profile strip is sealingly attached, and that the profile strip is enclosed by a dimensionally stable housing made of metal or plastic, which is fixedly coupled to the respective adjacent wall.
- the particular advantage of this invention can be arranged on both sides in the end of a windowsill wall composite is that the conclusion of the. Windowsill forming wall bar as a separate, i. can be manufactured and assembled from the housing independent component and that this is in the finished state with the housing only via the elastic profile strip in conjunction. Since the profile strips can only be stressed by pressure, there is thus no risk of pulling or breaking, especially in the case of cooler or extremely cold temperatures.
- the profile strip consists of fine-pored cellular rubber and that the housing consists of aluminum or stainless steel.
- This choice of material for the profile strip a dimensionally stable design of the profile strip is achieved at the same time easier processability. In particular, this material can be processed more easily than coarsely porous cell or foam rubber.
- the housing according to claim 3 can be open on its front side facing the window frame and closed on the front side by an end wall be.
- This embodiment of the housing according to claim 4 has the mounting facilitating advantage that it can be easily postponed to the provided with the elastic profile strip wall strip and no installation assistance required. It may be expedient to choose the cross-sectional dimensions of the profile strips slightly larger than the hollow dimension or the hollow dimensions of the housing so that sufficient friction pressure is created to hold the housing. To be able to use this advantage according to claim 3 safely, the embodiment according to claim 4 is provided. Thereafter, the profile strip with the wall strip cohesively connected, in particular glued be.
- the application and fixing of the profile strip on the wall strip can be very simplified by being pushed or plugged only on the wall bar to keep itself due to the inherent elasticity of the material itself. Accordingly, the profile strip can form a one-piece, the hollow profile of the housing adapted cross-sectional profile.
- the embodiment according to claim 6 can ensure a good frictional adhesive bond between the integral profile of the profile strips and the housing in conjunction with the aforementioned dimensional adjustment.
- the profile strip lies gap-free on the wall strip and on the inner surfaces of the housing.
- the wall strip L-profile-like or T-profile-like and a parallel to the windowsill fixing strip has, which is bolted to the windowsill, riveted or welded.
- These proposed connection or mounting options prove to be particularly advantageous if the wall strips on site, ie to be attached to the site on a windowsill and the craftsman can choose the most favorable for him attachment.
- a resilient in a horizontal direction connection between the vertical wall bar and the sill may be additionally increased.
- the vertical wall strip is connected via a U-shaped profile section clamped to the sill. Due to the clamping connection of the wall strip on the U-profile sufficient tightness between the sill or the end edge of the sill and the wall strip is guaranteed. Furthermore, the installation of the wall strip is simplified at the end edge of the sill.
- Fig. 1 shows by way of example a perspective exploded view of the individual components of a variant of a wall composite 1 according to the invention together with a shortened metallic window sill 2.
- the wall composite 1 has a wall strip 3, which is provided with a fastening strip 4 in the region of its lower edge.
- this fastening strip 4 extends essentially at right angles to the wall strip 3, which in turn is oriented substantially vertically in the state applied to the window sill 2.
- the wall strip 3 can be placed with the fastening strip 4 in the region of the peripheral edge 5 on the sill 2.
- this wall strip 3 is assigned a profile strip 6.
- This profile strip 6 forms a kind of longitudinal groove 7, with which the profile strip 6 is fittingly plugged onto the wall strip 3.
- This profile strip 6 is formed asymmetrically with respect to the longitudinal groove 7 and has in its mounted in the mounted state above the mounting bar 4 area an approximately rectangular spacer strip 8.
- This spacer strip 8 opposite forms the profile strip 6 as a second boundary of the longitudinal groove 7 a vertically downwardly directed retaining web 9, which may be formed greater in its vertical length than the rectangular spacer strip 8.
- the retaining web 9 is considerably narrower than the spacer strip. 8
- the support web 9 in its vertical length can be the same size as the spacer strip 8, which is ultimately dependent on the conditions of use.
- the profile strip 6 is preferably made of an elastically yielding material, such as "cellular rubber".
- Cell rubber has the special advantage that it has a sealing effect and elastically compressible is. This can be compensated by this profile strip 6 thermally induced changes in length of the sill 2.
- the spacer strip 8 is wider in its width in the longitudinal direction of the sill (double arrow 10), so that in particular a shortening of the sill 2, a relatively large flexibility in the compression of this spacer strip 8 is ensured.
- a pressure on the soffit of the window is exerted by the wall strip 3, so that the holding web 9 may be narrower in its width in the direction of the double arrow 10, as the spacer strip 8. Because pressure effect on the wall area are damaged not to be afraid.
- a double-sided adhesive strip 11 may be provided, via which the profile strip 6 can be fixed in a housing 12. Depending on the application, however, it may be advantageous not to use this adhesive strip 11 to allow a displacement of the housing 12 after placement on the profile strip 6 to correct the desired position of the housing 12.
- This housing 12 extends over the entire length of the profile strip 6 and the wall strip 3 and is accordingly fit together with the adhesive strip 11 on the profile strip 6 placed. Accordingly, the housing 12 forms an attachment area 13, which is a

- the width of this spacer strip 8 is substantially greater than the width of the retaining web 9.
- the housing 12 is fixed, for example, a plaster layer in the wall portion of the reveal of a window, a relative movement due to the elastic formation of the profile strip 6 between the wall bar 20 and the housing 12 is always possible without this housing 12 with its neck region 13 from the Wall is torn out.
- the embodiment of the wall bar 25 is made Fig. 3 intended. This shows Fig. 9 the same sectional view as Fig. 8 , but using this wall bar 25 off Fig. 3 ,
- the peripheral edge 5 presses the sill 2 on the wall bar 25 and the stop bar 27 against the retaining web 9 of the profile strip 6, so that the housing 12 is pressed with its neck region 13 against the window reveal. At the same time a sealing effect is maintained over the retaining web 9.
- the 8 and 9 also the adhesive strip 11 recognizable, by which the profile strip 6 is held securely in the housing 12.
- the wall strip 40 is preferably made of plastic. If the wall strip on the peripheral edge 5 of the sill 2 ( Fig. 1 ), as is the case for the wall bar 20 in Fig. 5 is shown, it is preferable to use the same material from which the sill 2 itself consists. If this is an aluminum window sill, then, for example, the wall strip 20 should likewise be made of aluminum.
- the housing 12 may also be made of any dimensionally stable material, such as a metallic material or a plastic. The same applies to the embodiment of the wall strip 25th
- FIG. 10 shows Fig. 10 the same sectional view as Fig. 8 but with the wall strip 3 off Fig. 1

The invention is accordingly an object of the invention to provide a simple and inexpensive to produce wall assembly of the type mentioned, which is able to compensate for large temperature-induced changes in length of window sills and at the same time to prevent the unwanted ingress of rainwater in the window reveals.
This object is achieved according to the invention together with the features of the preamble of
The particular advantage of this invention, can be arranged on both sides in the end of a windowsill wall composite is that the conclusion of the.
Weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind den Unteransprüchen entnehmbar.Further advantageous embodiments are the dependent claims.
Schaumgummi. Thus, it can be provided according to
Further, the housing according to
With the embodiment of the invention according to
Further, it can be provided according to
For this purpose, it can be provided according to

The
Furthermore, a double-sided
