Abstract
L'invention concerne une fraise en bout (1) pour usiner une zone de palier d'un vilebrequin, notamment d'un vilebrequin d'un moteur de bateau, comprenant un corps de base (2) muni d'une surface frontale (3) et de plusieurs plaquettes de coupe (4) prévues pour un fraisage rotatif qui sont disposées sur ou dans la surface frontale (3). Pour obtenir des conditions favorables d'enlèvement de copeaux avec des petites forces de coupe et donc une sollicitation minime de l'outil, les plaquettes de coupe (4) présentent respectivement, selon l'invention, au moins une arête de coupe qui comprend par endroit en alternance des zones de coupe active et des zones de coupe inactive.
