Claims (7)

  1. Submarine having a container (2) which can be closed off to one side and outwardly by a pivotably articulated and outwardly convexly curved cover (3) which closes in a pressure-tight manner, having means for flooding the closed container (2) under water and having means for collecting and storing the gas or gas mixture displaced from the container (2) during flooding, and having a gas trap which is provided on the cover (3) and which collects and stores the gas or gas mixture (8) situated in the cover (3) upon opening of the cover (3), characterized in that the gas trap is formed by a pocket which is formed on the inner side of the cover (3) and which is open only towards the articulation side of the cover (3).
  2. Submarine according to Claim 1, in which the pocket is formed by a part of the cover (3) that faces away from the articulation side on the one hand and by a wall (9) which emanates therefrom and extends at a distance therefrom on the other hand.
  3. Submarine according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the pocket comprises a wall (9) which extends substantially horizontally in the closed position of the cover (3) and which is arranged at a distance from the cover inner side and fills the upper cross section of the container (2).
  4. Submarine according to Claim 1 or 3, in which the pocket is formed by a shaped hollow part which is arranged in the cover (3) and which has an opening, wherein the opening in the shaped hollow part is arranged close to the articulation side of the cover (3).
  5. Submarine according to Claim 3, in which the shaped hollow part is incorporated into the cover (3) in a gap-free manner.
  6. Submarine according to one of the preceding claims, in which there is provided in the container (2) a line (6) for removing the gas or gas mixture (8) situated therein, the upper end of which line extends into the interior of the cover contour.
  7. Submarine according to one of the preceding claims, in which the cover (3) forms the outer closure of a manlock which leads into the pressure hull.
