Such dispensers have long been known, for example in the form of adhesive tape dispensers, and may in particular consist of a housing, a rotatably mounted adhesive tape roll and a severing device in the form of a knife. With the aid of the separating device, any length of the adhesive tape unwound from the adhesive tape roll can be separated off and, for example, applied to a substrate.

In the prior art, automatic tape dispensers are known, for example, shows the DE 3109735 A1 a tape dispenser for automated bonding of an adhesive tape to an object. For this purpose, a housing with an inner rotatably mounted adhesive tape roll is provided, from which an adhesive film can be applied to a substrate. For separating an adhesive tape portion, a pusher movably connected to the housing can be moved in the direction of the substrate, which leads to a movement of a knife arranged inside the housing in the direction of the adhesive film and results in a section of the adhesive tape portion through the knife. The problem with this tape dispenser is the complicated structure, which consists of many different components and therefore is costly and prone to failure.

In addition, further tape dispensers, in particular for the application of, for example, packet adhesive tapes on Kartönagen known. For example, shows the WO 96/24549 a package adhesive tape dispenser with a handle to which a rotatably mounted tape roll wrap is attached. In addition, an applicator roll is provided around which the unwound adhesive tape is passed, such that the adhesive tape surface provided with the adhesive can be applied to a substrate via the applicator roll. To detach the adhesive film, a projecting cutting tool is also provided here. In the present dispenser, it is particularly disadvantageous that a relatively large area of the adhesive side of the adhesive tape is exposed and can be soiled when not in use or storage, so that a proper resumption of work with the tape dispenser is not guaranteed.

The WO 00/73187 A1 again shows a tape dispenser for producing tape pieces. For this purpose, a perforation element is provided, which comes into contact with the unwinding from a unwinding tape. The perforating means is designed as a protruding knife, which punctures in the tape during settlement. With the help of this piercing point, the user can separate a piece of tape from the rest of the tape. The WO 00/73187 A1 It also considers the use of several knife elements.

The object of the invention is to provide an improved dispenser: This object is solved by the features of claim 1.

The advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified by the subclaims.

The basic idea of the invention is to provide a dispenser for a film which has a housing, a film supply, a dispensing area for removing the film and a weakening device rotatably mounted on the housing with weakening means for providing the film with weakened areas as a separating aid for separating a film section wherein the weakening device is configured as a roll, and wherein the weakening device is in contact with the film during removal of the film from the film supply to allow engagement of the weakening agent with the film, wherein a removal direction for removing the film from the film supply is provided and wherein the film is designed flat and has two edges which extend in the removal direction, wherein a plurality of weakening means are distributed over its peripheral surface in such a way, wherein a plurality of weakening means angeord side by side in the axial direction with respect to the role net and wherein a weakening area introduced by means of the weakening device extends as a weakening line from the first edge to the second edge over the surface of the film.

Preferably, the housing is made of a plastic material and substantially closed, in particular to protect the film supply and moving parts, which are preferably arranged within the housing, from external influences. In particular, a paper or film film can be used as the film. In particular, a film is conceivable, which is at least on one side surface or partially provided with an adhesive. The film may additionally have further features. For example, it may be made transparent, in particular not to obscure areas of text on the substrate to which the film can be applied. Also, the film may be opaque or coated to cover areas of the substrate as a correction or cover film. In addition, the film can be used as a marking film, for example, by being transparent or translucent, but colored, for example, to emphasize a passage of text on the substrate. In particular, a correction, marking or adhesive tape roll or a correction, marking or adhesive tape reel can be used as the film supply. In addition, further embodiments are conceivable, in particular such an arrangement of the film that this superimposed in several layers forms the film supply. The dispensing area for removing the film may, in particular, be designed as a gripping surface for manual removal by the user. This design is particularly suitable when using the dispenser according to the invention as a tabletop device. In a further embodiment, the dispenser can be used, for example, as a handheld device for applying a film, for example to a substrate. In this case, the dispenser region can be designed as an application device, by means of which the film can be applied to a substrate, preferably without the user himself having to apply himself to the film and possibly contaminating it.

A great advantage of the dispenser according to the invention is the weakening device rotatably mounted on the housing with at least one weakening means for equipping the film with weakening areas as a separating aid for separating a film section. Preferably, during the removal of the film, the attenuator rotates from the film supply and continuously exposes the film to weakened areas. The film provided with a weakened area can be easily removed from the dispenser after removal of the film at the dispensing area by using the weakened area as a separating aid, at which separation of a film section is particularly easy. For example, in a dispenser in the form of a tabletop machine, the film may be removed by the user, with an arbitrarily large film portion being severed at a weakened area from the film remaining on the dispenser. By providing such a dispenser, conventional dispensers with protruding knives or cutters may be dispensed with which a user may possibly be injured or which may lose their sharpness due to long-term use, so that separation of a film portion is no longer possible. Another advantage results from the use of the dispenser as a handheld device for applying a film, for example to a substrate. In this case, the film provided with one or more weakened areas is applied to the substrate via the dispensing area. After the desired amount of film has been applied, for example, by lifting or twisting the dispenser relative to the applied film portion, the user can achieve separation of the applied film portion by means of the separation aid across the weakened area. Thus, a very simple film application to a substrate can be made possible without the film having to be touched by the user, in particular when using an adhesive tape, not on the adhesive side.

These advantages are made possible in particular by contact of the film during removal of the film from the film supply with the attenuator. Thus, engagement of the at least one weakening agent with the film can be made possible in order to provide the film with weakened areas. Preferably, the film is continuously in contact with the weakening device during removal, so that the weakening means engage the film continuously and / or at regular intervals and provide it with weakening areas continuously or at regular intervals.

In addition, it is particularly advantageous to use a flat film which is removed in a dispensing direction for dispensing the film from the film supply and wherein the film has two edges which extend in the removal direction, wherein the weakened area introduced by means of the weakening device acts as a weakening line from the first Edge extends to the second edge over the surface of the film.

By using such a film in combination with the arrangement of the weakened area in the above-mentioned manner, a particularly clean separation of the Film section become possible. In the preferred case, a release aid may be provided wherein the severed film portion has a substantially straight section edge from the first edge to the second edge of the sheet film. Also, fraying or tearing of the film from the weakened area extending in a direction other than the weakening line can be avoided, so that, in particular, contamination of the dispenser by film parts can be avoided.

Another advantage is the equipment of the dispenser with a removal or dispensing direction for dispensing the film from the film supply, wherein the weakened in the film by means of the weakening device extends substantially transverse to the donor direction, as a separating aid easy Absektionmöglichkeit a film section for the Provide users.

By means of such an arrangement of the weakened region transversely to the dispensing direction, a particularly advantageous separation possibility of a film section can be provided. In most cases, a user wishes to have film sections which have as straight as possible cut edges which preferably extend orthogonally to the longitudinal edges of the film. Preferably, the films are removed during the removal in the removal direction in the direction of the longitudinal edge extension, extending through a transverse to the donor direction weakening region in this case transverse to the longitudinal edges. With such an arrangement of the weakening areas, a particularly accurate and precise film application for the user can be ensured.

According to the weakening device is designed as a roller, wherein a plurality of weakening means are distributed over the peripheral surface of the roll. The configuration as a roll is particularly advantageous since, according to the invention, the film is in contact with the weakening device during removal from the film supply in order to allow engagement of the at least one weakening agent with the film. In the design of the weakening device as a roller, the film is preferably at least partially tangential or even more preferably at least segmentally in contact with the roller. Thus, in particular, a deflection of the film from the film supply to the dispenser area can be made possible by the weaving device, for example, by touching the film like a segment and deflecting the course of the film during removal from the film supply. By providing the roll with multiple weakening agents distributed over the peripheral surface of the roll, continuous rotation of the roll upon removal of the film from the supply of film allows for continuous film finishing with weakened areas. According to the invention, several weakening means are juxtaposed axially with respect to the roll arranged to perforate the film in the weakened area or cut in several places. In addition, it is conceivable that a plurality of weakening means are arranged radially over the peripheral region in order to introduce a multiplicity of weakening regions into the film by means of one rotation of the roller.

The weakening device is in this case preferably rotated by the film during removal of the film from the dispensing area.

When using a longitudinally extending film which has two longitudinal edges, the spool, the perforating roller and the application roller are preferably arranged in such a way that at least the respective contact surfaces of these components, which serve as running surfaces for the film, escape each other. Thus, it can be prevented that the film canted in the range between the removal from the bobbin to the delivery at the dispensing area or that the film slips off a running surface.

Another advantage when using a roller as a weakening device is the non-adherent formation of the surface of the roller to avoid sticking of the film on the roller. This is particularly advantageous in the use of the roller for deflecting the film, in which an at least segmental contact of the film is used with the roller. For example, a film to be dispensed can represent an adhesive tape which is provided with an adhesive surface. With a non-adhesively formed surface of the roller, the side of the adhesive tape provided with the adhesive surface can come into contact with the roller without polluting or sticking to it Failure of the donor could result. In particular, it is conceivable to make the roll with a siliconized layer or entirely of silicone in order to provide a non-adhesive surface. The use of a Teflon layer is also conceivable or another possibility known to the person skilled in the art for the formation of non-adhesive surfaces.

A particular advantage results from the design of the weakening device as a roller, which is rotatably connected to the housing of the dispenser, which provides a tangential or segment-like contact area, such as a contact or running surface for the film, wherein the contact area with the longitudinal extent of the Filmes within the donor are aligned. The longitudinal extension of the film is preferably the extension of the film in the removal direction. This design would result in a plan view of a dispenser according to the invention orthogonal to the film plane and the axis of rotation of the attenuation device to a straight extension of the film within the donor. The edges of the film would be in line. By this design, in particular slipping of the film of or tilting can be prevented with the weakening device. Such a construction is preferably used in combination with an application roller at the dispensing area for applying the film to a substrate and / or with a spool as a film supply, with contact areas of these components also being aligned with the longitudinal extension of the film within the dispenser.

Another advantage is the design of the weakening means as the above cutting or lancing means to introduce a weakening area in the form of a separating aid in the film. In this case, in particular of the rotatable weakening device protruding knives are conceivable, which partially cut the film. Also, thorns or needles are conceivable, which the film with Provided holes. By using the same weakening agent, in particular a perforation of the adhesive film can be provided, which allows a particularly simple separation of a film section by the user.

A further advantage is the design of the dispenser such that the weakening device is designed as a rotatable roller and that the film in contact with the weakening device rotates the weakening device when the film is removed from the film supply. By providing a drive of the rotatable weakening device over the film itself, a particularly effective operation of the weakening device can be provided because the weakening device rotates only at the speed at which the film is also removed from the film supply. Too fast or too slow rotation of the weakening device with respect to the removal speed of the film could lead to destruction of the film by the weakening means, which can be successfully prevented by this drive option.

Another advantage is the provision of the dispenser area as the above applicator for transferring the film to a substrate. This embodiment is particularly advantageous for handsets for applying the film to a substrate, which are known in the art as adhesive rollers. In this case, the application device can preferably protrude from or out of the housing in certain areas, in particular in order to prevent destruction or damage to the substrate by regions of the housing. The applicator can be designed in particular as a role or as a projecting order foot.

A further advantage of using an application device as a dispensing area is the configuration of this application device as an application roller rotatably mounted on the housing. With such a dispenser, a particularly simple application of the film can be made possible, since the force to be applied by the user for transferring a film onto a substrate is particularly low due to the rotatable mounting of the application device. In addition, it may be considered useful that the role is made flexible or elastic, for example, to compensate for unevenness of the surface of the substrate and / or an oblique guidance of the dispenser with respect to the substrate plane, and to ensure a uniform pressing of the film onto the substrate ,

Another advantage is the arrangement of the axis of rotation of the application roller on the housing parallel to the axis of rotation of the attenuation device. With such a design, a particularly simple rolling of the film can be made possible, wherein tilting of the film during unrolling between the weakening device and the application roller can be avoided.

Another advantage is the use of a rotatable spool or film roll as a film supply with a spool or core, wherein on the spool or winding core of the film is wound. Of course, a coil is conceivable, which has no solid core, but which consists only of a wound film. Such coils are in particular as adhesive tape reels or -wickel sufficiently well known and belong to the prior art and can be purchased as low priced and come in a simple manner in a dispenser according to the invention for use.

Another advantage of using a spool, which is rotatably mounted in the housing, is the parallel arrangement of the axes of rotation of each of the application roller of the attenuator and the coil. By such an arrangement of the rotatable components to one another in particular tilting of the film during unrolling of the film roll and during the application or removal of the film can be prevented from the donor.

Another advantage is the design of the dispenser with a film supply in the form of a spool rotatably mounted on the housing with a spool core on which the film is wound, which is unwound in a donor direction of the film winding. As well as the design of the dispensing area in the form of a rotatably mounted on the housing application roller for applying the film to a substrate and the attenuation device in the form of a rotatably mounted on the housing perforating roller, which is arranged between or application roller and spool, said perforation radially projecting perforating for equipping the film with a weakened area, and wherein the film unwound from the reel touches the perforating roll tangentially or at least segmentally at least in regions, and wherein the unwinding of the film in the dispensing direction leads to a rotation of the perforation roll. With such a dispenser, a hand-held device for applying a film for application to a substrate can be provided, whereby the film taken from the film supply, which is brought past the perforation roller, is perforated continuously during the removal and thus weakening areas are provided. The removal or the application of the film to a substrate by means of the job role. The user can separate an arbitrarily large film portion by separating the same over a perforation or a weakened area from the remaining film.

FIG. 1 Fig. 4 shows a sectional side view of a dispenser 1 according to the invention for applying a film 10 to a substrate. In particular, an adhesive, correction, masking or marking film can be used as the film 10. In the present embodiment, the film 10 is a transparent adhesive film 10, which is coated on one side with an adhesive. Such adhesive films 10 are particularly suitable for bonding paper and other materials together. The adhesive film 10 is designed flat and has two side edges, which extend in a longitudinal extension of the film 10. Such films 10 are known in the art. To separate a film portion for applying the film 10 to a substrate, the desired film portion is preferably separated from the remainder of the film 10 by a cut extending orthogonal to the longitudinal extent from the first edge to the second edge.

The present dispenser 1 has a housing 2, which at least partially surrounds a cavity 3. The housing 2 is formed in the present embodiment substantially closed to protect the arranged in the cavity 3 components of the dispenser 1 from external influences. On one side, the housing 2 has an opening 4. At the opening 4, the dispenser 1 has a dispensing area 18 for removing the film 10 with an application device for Transferring the film 10 on a substrate. For this purpose, the stored in the cavity 3 of the housing 2 by means of a film supply 6 film 10 can be led out through the opening 4 for removal and application to a substrate. The film supply 6 within the housing 2 is designed in the present embodiment as a coil 7. For this purpose, the film 10 has been wound onto a spool core 8. To remove the film 10 in a removal direction 22 from the spool 7, the same is rotatably connected to the housing 3 via a rotation axis 9. The unwound from the coil 7 in the removal direction 22 film 10 is guided within the housing 2 to a weakening device 11 which is disposed between the coil 7 and the opening 4 and the dispensing area 18. The weakening device 11 has a plurality of weakening means 16 with which the film 10 can be equipped with weakening regions 17 as a separating aid for separating a film section. In the present exemplary embodiment, the attenuation device 11 is configured as a perforation roller 12 rotatably mounted via a rotation axis 15 with a perforation roller core 13 and a perforation jacket 14. The axis of rotation 15 of the perforation roller 12 is arranged parallel to the axis of rotation 9 of the coil 7. The perforation roller 12 has on its perforation jacket 14 distributed over the outer circumferential surface weakening means 16 in the form of radially with respect to the axis of rotation 15 projecting cutting and / or lancing means. These weakening means 16 are used for partially piercing and / or cutting the film 10 in order to equip the same with weakening areas 17. For this purpose, a plurality of weakening means 16 are arranged linearly in the axial direction with respect to the axis of rotation 15 on the outer circumferential surface of the perforation roller 12. The weakening regions 17 of the film 10 are thus lines of weakness in the form of linear perforations of the film 10, which extend orthogonally to the longitudinal extension of the film 10 and extend from one side of the edge of the film 10 to the opposite second edge.

After removal from the coil 7, the film 10 is guided around the perforation roller 12 such that it touches the perforation roller 12 on the outer lateral surface of the perforation jacket 14 in a segment-like manner or at least tangentially via a contact region 26. The contact region 26 of the weakening device 11 designed as a perforation roller 16 is aligned with the longitudinal extent of the film 10 within the dispenser 1. The mutual contact of the film 10 and the outer lateral surface provides an opportunity for engagement of the radially projecting weakening means 16 for the film 10. The weakening means 16 intersect or puncture the film 10 in regions and provide it with weakening areas 15, which serve as a separating aid for separating a film section at the dispensing area 18 of the dispenser 1. In the present embodiment, the film 10 is guided past the perforation roller 12 with its side provided with adhesive. So that there is no sticking of the film 10 with the perforation roller 12, the perforation roller 10 is not made adhesive. For this purpose, in particular, an equipment of the film 10 facing outer layer of the perforation 14 with a Teflon layer is suitable.

The touching around the film 10 around the perforation roller 12 leads to a rotation of the latter by the removal of the film 10 from the film supply, so the winding of the film 10 of the spool 7. In the illustrated dispenser 1, the film 10 is guided from the spool 7 to the perforation roller 12, that the perforation roller 12 is rotated by the film 10 against the direction of rotation of the spool 7 during the development of the film 10 of the same. The drive of the perforation roller 12 over the film 10 has the advantage that the rotational speed of the perforation roller 12 of the removal speed of the film 10 is adjusted. Thus, a too fast rotation of the perforation roller 12, which could be associated with a demolition of the film 10 in the region between the perforation roller 12 and coil 7, can be avoided. The same applies to a too slow rotation of the perforation roller 12, which could lead to a film jam in the area between perforation roller 12 and coil 7.

Due to the rotation of the perforating roller 12 through the film 10, the film 10 is provided with weakening portions 15 at regular intervals by the weakening means 16 provided on the outer surface of the perforating roller 12 in contacting the film 10 around the perforating roller 12. The so equipped with weakening areas 15. Film 10 is then fed in the direction of the dispensing area 18. At the dispensing area 18, in the region of the opening 4 of the housing 2 for transferring the film 10 onto a substrate as application device a application roller 19 mounted rotatably on the housing 3 via a rotation axis 20 is provided. The axis of rotation 20 of the application roller 19 is parallel to the axes of rotation 9, 15 the coil 7 and the perforation roller 12 is arranged. Preferably, the axes of rotation 9, 15, 20 or the coil 7, the perforation roller 12 and the application roller 19 are arranged to each other such that at least the respective contact surfaces or areas 26 of these components, which serve as running surfaces for the film 10, are aligned , Thus, it can be prevented that the film 10 is tilted in the area between the removal of the coil 7 to the dispensing on the dispensing area 18 or slips off a running surface.

The application roller 19 is fixed to the housing 2 in such a manner that it protrudes in part from the cavity 3 of the housing 2 through the opening 4 and protrudes from the outer surface of the housing 2 at the dispensing area 18. The film 10 equipped with weakening areas 17 by means of the perforating roller 12 is led out of the cavity 3 of the housing 2 for application to a substrate through the opening 4 and can be deflected via the application roller 19 and transferred to the substrate. In the example shown, the film 10 with its non-adhesive coated side comes into contact with the application roller 19, so that the application roller 19 can be used to press the film 10 when transferring the latter to the substrate. To transfer the film 10, the user advances the dispenser 1 with the application roller 19 in the direction of the substrate until the free end of the film 10 present on the application roller 19 comes into contact with the adhesive-coated side on the substrate. By moving the dispenser 1 in the application direction 23, the film 10 can be transferred to the substrate. In this case, the film 10 is unwound from the bobbin 7 and automatically and continuously equipped by the perforation roller 12 with weakening areas 17. The synchronization of the rotatable components, the application roller 19, the perforation roller 12 and the spool 7 takes place through the film 10 itself additional drive between the mentioned components can be dispensed with. This has, on the one hand, the advantage that it is possible to dispense with conventional components such as toothed wheel connections and slip clutches and that the rotatable components always rotate at exactly the speed at which the film 10 is transferred to the substrate.

After transferring the desired film portion, the user may separate the film portion at any weakened areas 17 of the film 10. For this purpose, the weakening regions 17 can be designed such that removal of the dispenser 1 from the substrate and concomitant lifting of the application roller 19 from the substrate results in separation of a weakened region 17 in the area of the film 10 between the transferred film section and the application roller 19. Another possibility is the twisting or pivoting of the dispenser 1 such that an arbitrary weakened area 17 is torn open and a separation of the transferred film section from the film 10 and the dispenser 1 is achieved.

FIG. 2 shows a side view of the dispenser 1 FIG. 1 during transfer of the film 10 to a substrate 25 by a user's hand 24. The handling and guidance of the dispenser 1 is known, for example, from commercial correction rollers. The housing 2 is provided on its upper side with a Angrifffläche 5, which includes slip-resistant elements, such as protruding knobs or projections. This engaging surface 5 serves the user as a preferred attack area in transferring the film 10 to the substrate 25. As described above, the user moves or pulls the dispenser 1 in the application direction 23, while on the application roller 19, the film 10 with the adhesive side the substrate 25 is pressed. In this case, the film 10 equipped with weakening regions 17, in the present exemplary embodiment transverse to the longitudinal extension or plane of the film 10, is transferred to the substrate 25. After the user has transferred a desired film portion to the substrate 25, he can remove the transferred film portion by separating the application roller 19 from the substrate or by pivoting the dispenser 1 by breaking a weakened area 17, ie by tearing a perforation.

FIG. 3 shows a sectional side view of an alternative inventive dispenser 1. The dispenser 1 shown here is designed as a tabletop device. The housing 2 has on the underside a flat base, with which the dispenser 1 can be placed on, for example, a table top. For this purpose, the dispenser 1 can be additionally provided with a weight and on the side facing the table top with anti-slip elements, such as rubber inserts, to prevent slippage of the dispenser 1 during operation. The housing 2 is designed partially open on the opposite side of the underside. From the opening of the housing 2 projects partially on one side of the film supply 6 in the form of the coil 7 out. The coil 7 is rotatably attached to the housing via a rotation axis 9. On the opposite side, the housing 2 on the dispensing area 18, which in the embodiment shown as the over Rotary shaft 20 rotatably mounted on the housing 2 mounted job roll 19 is designed. Of course, can be dispensed with the use of a job role 19 at the dispensing area 18. For example, a simple removal surface can be used, as is known in conventional tabletop devices for dispensing an adhesive tape. Between the dispensing area 18 and the film supply 6, the attenuation device 11 is arranged, which is configured as a perforation roller 12 mounted rotatably on the housing 2 via the rotation axis 15. The unwound from the spool 7 film 10 is guided around the perforation roller 12 such that the film 10, the perforation roller 12 in a segment-like contact over a contact area and drives them. The perforation roller 12 equipped with radially projecting weakening means 12 provides the film 10 continuously with weakening areas 17. The thus processed film 10 is guided further in the direction of the dispensing area 18. Here, the film 10 can be removed by the user. An arbitrary film portion may then be separated from the remaining film 10 and the dispenser 1 by separating a weakened area and transferred to a substrate.

FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of a further alternative of a dispenser 1 according to the invention. This dispenser 1 is used for dispensing a package or packaging adhesive tape used. The dispenser 1 has the housing 2 designed as a receiving unit for the film supply 6. To the housing 2, a handle 21 is formed, with which the user can perform the dispenser 1. For this purpose, the handle 21 is equipped with recessed grips. The film supply 6 is designed as a coil 7 with a coil core 8, which is rotatably connected to the housing 2. From the spool 7, the film 10 can be unwound in the removal direction 22 for applying the film 10 via a mandrel 19 rotatably attached to the housing 2 at the dispensing area 18. For this purpose, the dispenser 1 is guided such that the film 10 is pressed with the adhesive-coated side by means of the application roller 19 on the substrate. By moving the dispenser 1 in the application direction 23, the film 10 is applied to the substrate, accompanied by a development of the film 10 from the spool 7 in the removal direction 22. Between the delivery roller 19 and the spool 7, the perforation roller 12 is arranged as a weakening device 11. which is in contact with the film 10 unwound from the spool 7 via the contact region 26. The perforating roller 12 equips the film 10 with weakening areas 17 by cutting, not shown weakening means when turning the perforation roller 12, resulting from the removal of the film 10 from the spool 7 in the removal direction 22 and the lead around the perforation roll 12 in the film 10 or prick. The weakening regions 17 in the present embodiment extend from the first edge of the film 10 to the opposite second edge and extend substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal direction or removal direction 22 over the surface of the film 10. The film 10 provided with weakening regions 17 can be of any length by means of Application roller 19 are applied to a substrate. By lateral rotation of the dispenser 1 with respect to the application direction 23, a weakened region 17 between the transferred film section and the film 10 at the application roller 19 can be separated. To tearing or separation of a weakening region 17 in the area between the application roller 19 and perforation roller 12 to In addition, film guides, not shown, can be provided, which provide a lateral guidance for the film edges.

FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of a weakening device 12 for use in a dispenser according to the invention. The weakening device 12 is designed as a cylindrical roller with an axis 15 around which the weakening device 12 can be rotated in the installed state in a dispenser. The weakening device 12 is made of a plastic material having a non-adherent surface to prevent adhesion of a film. The outer jacket region is provided at regular intervals with axially extending grooves 27. The grooves 27 serve to receive knife inserts 28 made of a metallic material. The blade inserts 28 have in the present embodiment, three radially with respect to the axis 15 of the surface of the attenuator 12 projecting cutting blade 29. The cutting blades 29 serve as a weakening means for equipping the film with weakened areas. For mounting the blade inserts 28 are inserted laterally in the axial direction in the grooves 27 and preferably fixed by means of a suitable adhesive.

FIG. 6 shows a perspective view of an alternative attenuation device 12 for use in a dispenser according to the invention. Again, the attenuation device 12 is designed as a cylindrical roller with an axis 15. On the lateral surface of the weakening device 12 are weakening means in the form of radial with respect to the axis 15 projecting piercing thorns 35 are provided. The spikes 35 extend in axially extending rows with respect to the axis 15. Around the periphery of the attenuator 12 rows of piercing mandrels 35 are provided at regular intervals to equip the film orthogonal to its longitudinal extent with weakening areas, in the present case with perforation lines.

FIG. 7 shows a perspective view of another alternative weakening device 12 for use in a dispenser according to the invention. The cylindrical and designed with an axis 15 weakening device 12 has as in FIG. 6 weakening device 12 shown weakening means in the form of axially extending rows of radially projecting piercing thorns 35 for providing the film with weakening areas. In addition, a series of radially projecting longitudinal perforation means 36 is provided in the axial direction at half the width of the weakening device 12, wherein the row extends radially around the circumference of the weakening device 12. With the weakening device 12 shown, a film can be provided, on the one hand, with weakening areas, which extend orthogonally to the longitudinal extent of the film from one edge to the opposite edge and which, as a separating aid, ensure a separation possibility for a film section. On the other hand, an additional longitudinal weakening region can be introduced into the film by means of the longitudinal perforation means 36, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the film approximately in the film center, ie parallel to the edges of the film. This longitudinal weakening area does not serve as a separation aid for separating a film section from the dispenser. Rather, this longitudinal weakening, for example, at Packaging such as cardboard, in which the film is applied such that the longitudinal weakening region extends along the connecting region of two packaging parts is advantageous. Thus, by means of a dispenser equipped with such a weakening device 12, an aid can be provided which on the one hand provides a separating aid for a film section from the dispenser and on the other hand a further separating aid after a successful application to a substrate should the adhesive bond provided by the film be released again should be.

FIG. 8 shows a perspective view of a portion of a weakening device 12 for use in a dispenser according to the invention. This is a perforation jacket 14 which, for example, on the perforation roll of in FIG. 1 shown donor is mounted. The perforation jacket 14 is designed as a hollow cylinder and has an axis 15. It is made of a sheet-like piece of sheet 30, wherein two opposite free ends of the sheet 30 are glued or welded after production of the hollow cylindrical shape by, for example, bending the sheet 30 at a connecting portion 31. From the plate 30 V-shaped areas are punched, which are bent up at a Abkäntbereich 34 that at an acute angle radially with respect to the axis 15 protruding knife 32 have arisen and the free surfaces of the beveled knife 32 openings 33 in the surface of the sheet 30th form. In the present embodiment, in each case two blades 32 extend in a line parallel to the axis 15 over the circumference of the perforation jacket 14. The blades 32 serve as a means of weakening the equipment of the film with weakening areas as a separation aid after the perforation jacket 14 has been mounted on a dispenser. With such a perforation jacket 14, a particularly cost-effective perforation means can be provided.
