The basic idea of the invention is to provide a dispenser for a film which has a housing, a film supply, a dispensing area for removing the film and a weakening device rotatably mounted on the housing with weakening means for providing the film with weakened areas as a separating aid for separating a film section wherein the weakening device is configured as a roll, and wherein the weakening device is in contact with the film during removal of the film from the film supply to allow engagement of the weakening agent with the film, wherein a removal direction for removing the film from the film supply is provided and wherein the film is designed flat and has two edges which extend in the removal direction, wherein a plurality of weakening means are distributed over its peripheral surface in such a way, wherein a plurality of weakening means angeord side by side in the axial direction with respect to the role net and wherein a weakening area introduced by means of the weakening device extends as a weakening line from the first edge to the second edge over the surface of the film.
Preferably, the housing is made of a plastic material and substantially closed, in particular to protect the film supply and moving parts, which are preferably arranged within the housing, from external influences. In particular, a paper or film film can be used as the film. In particular, a film is conceivable, which is at least on one side surface or partially provided with an adhesive. The film may additionally have further features. For example, it may be made transparent, in particular not to obscure areas of text on the substrate to which the film can be applied. Also, the film may be opaque or coated to cover areas of the substrate as a correction or cover film. In addition, the film can be used as a marking film, for example, by being transparent or translucent, but colored, for example, to emphasize a passage of text on the substrate. In particular, a correction, marking or adhesive tape roll or a correction, marking or adhesive tape reel can be used as the film supply. In addition, further embodiments are conceivable, in particular such an arrangement of the film that this superimposed in several layers forms the film supply. The dispensing area for removing the film may, in particular, be designed as a gripping surface for manual removal by the user. This design is particularly suitable when using the dispenser according to the invention as a tabletop device. In a further embodiment, the dispenser can be used, for example, as a handheld device for applying a film, for example to a substrate. In this case, the dispenser region can be designed as an application device, by means of which the film can be applied to a substrate, preferably without the user himself having to apply himself to the film and possibly contaminating it.
A great advantage of the dispenser according to the invention is the weakening device rotatably mounted on the housing with at least one weakening means for equipping the film with weakening areas as a separating aid for separating a film section. Preferably, during the removal of the film, the attenuator rotates from the film supply and continuously exposes the film to weakened areas. The film provided with a weakened area can be easily removed from the dispenser after removal of the film at the dispensing area by using the weakened area as a separating aid, at which separation of a film section is particularly easy. For example, in a dispenser in the form of a tabletop machine, the film may be removed by the user, with an arbitrarily large film portion being severed at a weakened area from the film remaining on the dispenser. By providing such a dispenser, conventional dispensers with protruding knives or cutters may be dispensed with which a user may possibly be injured or which may lose their sharpness due to long-term use, so that separation of a film portion is no longer possible. Another advantage results from the use of the dispenser as a handheld device for applying a film, for example to a substrate. In this case, the film provided with one or more weakened areas is applied to the substrate via the dispensing area. After the desired amount of film has been applied, for example, by lifting or twisting the dispenser relative to the applied film portion, the user can achieve separation of the applied film portion by means of the separation aid across the weakened area. Thus, a very simple film application to a substrate can be made possible without the film having to be touched by the user, in particular when using an adhesive tape, not on the adhesive side.
These advantages are made possible in particular by contact of the film during removal of the film from the film supply with the attenuator. Thus, engagement of the at least one weakening agent with the film can be made possible in order to provide the film with weakened areas. Preferably, the film is continuously in contact with the weakening device during removal, so that the weakening means engage the film continuously and / or at regular intervals and provide it with weakening areas continuously or at regular intervals.
In addition, it is particularly advantageous to use a flat film which is removed in a dispensing direction for dispensing the film from the film supply and wherein the film has two edges which extend in the removal direction, wherein the weakened area introduced by means of the weakening device acts as a weakening line from the first Edge extends to the second edge over the surface of the film.
By using such a film in combination with the arrangement of the weakened area in the above-mentioned manner, a particularly clean separation of the Film section become possible. In the preferred case, a release aid may be provided wherein the severed film portion has a substantially straight section edge from the first edge to the second edge of the sheet film. Also, fraying or tearing of the film from the weakened area extending in a direction other than the weakening line can be avoided, so that, in particular, contamination of the dispenser by film parts can be avoided.
Another advantage is the equipment of the dispenser with a removal or dispensing direction for dispensing the film from the film supply, wherein the weakened in the film by means of the weakening device extends substantially transverse to the donor direction, as a separating aid easy Absektionmöglichkeit a film section for the Provide users.
By means of such an arrangement of the weakened region transversely to the dispensing direction, a particularly advantageous separation possibility of a film section can be provided. In most cases, a user wishes to have film sections which have as straight as possible cut edges which preferably extend orthogonally to the longitudinal edges of the film. Preferably, the films are removed during the removal in the removal direction in the direction of the longitudinal edge extension, extending through a transverse to the donor direction weakening region in this case transverse to the longitudinal edges. With such an arrangement of the weakening areas, a particularly accurate and precise film application for the user can be ensured.
According to the weakening device is designed as a roller, wherein a plurality of weakening means are distributed over the peripheral surface of the roll. The configuration as a roll is particularly advantageous since, according to the invention, the film is in contact with the weakening device during removal from the film supply in order to allow engagement of the at least one weakening agent with the film. In the design of the weakening device as a roller, the film is preferably at least partially tangential or even more preferably at least segmentally in contact with the roller. Thus, in particular, a deflection of the film from the film supply to the dispenser area can be made possible by the weaving device, for example, by touching the film like a segment and deflecting the course of the film during removal from the film supply. By providing the roll with multiple weakening agents distributed over the peripheral surface of the roll, continuous rotation of the roll upon removal of the film from the supply of film allows for continuous film finishing with weakened areas. According to the invention, several weakening means are juxtaposed axially with respect to the roll arranged to perforate the film in the weakened area or cut in several places. In addition, it is conceivable that a plurality of weakening means are arranged radially over the peripheral region in order to introduce a multiplicity of weakening regions into the film by means of one rotation of the roller.
The weakening device is in this case preferably rotated by the film during removal of the film from the dispensing area.
When using a longitudinally extending film which has two longitudinal edges, the spool, the perforating roller and the application roller are preferably arranged in such a way that at least the respective contact surfaces of these components, which serve as running surfaces for the film, escape each other. Thus, it can be prevented that the film canted in the range between the removal from the bobbin to the delivery at the dispensing area or that the film slips off a running surface.
Another advantage when using a roller as a weakening device is the non-adherent formation of the surface of the roller to avoid sticking of the film on the roller. This is particularly advantageous in the use of the roller for deflecting the film, in which an at least segmental contact of the film is used with the roller. For example, a film to be dispensed can represent an adhesive tape which is provided with an adhesive surface. With a non-adhesively formed surface of the roller, the side of the adhesive tape provided with the adhesive surface can come into contact with the roller without polluting or sticking to it Failure of the donor could result. In particular, it is conceivable to make the roll with a siliconized layer or entirely of silicone in order to provide a non-adhesive surface. The use of a Teflon layer is also conceivable or another possibility known to the person skilled in the art for the formation of non-adhesive surfaces.
A particular advantage results from the design of the weakening device as a roller, which is rotatably connected to the housing of the dispenser, which provides a tangential or segment-like contact area, such as a contact or running surface for the film, wherein the contact area with the longitudinal extent of the Filmes within the donor are aligned. The longitudinal extension of the film is preferably the extension of the film in the removal direction. This design would result in a plan view of a dispenser according to the invention orthogonal to the film plane and the axis of rotation of the attenuation device to a straight extension of the film within the donor. The edges of the film would be in line. By this design, in particular slipping of the film of or tilting can be prevented with the weakening device. Such a construction is preferably used in combination with an application roller at the dispensing area for applying the film to a substrate and / or with a spool as a film supply, with contact areas of these components also being aligned with the longitudinal extension of the film within the dispenser.
Another advantage is the design of the weakening means as the above cutting or lancing means to introduce a weakening area in the form of a separating aid in the film. In this case, in particular of the rotatable weakening device protruding knives are conceivable, which partially cut the film. Also, thorns or needles are conceivable, which the film with Provided holes. By using the same weakening agent, in particular a perforation of the adhesive film can be provided, which allows a particularly simple separation of a film section by the user.
A further advantage is the design of the dispenser such that the weakening device is designed as a rotatable roller and that the film in contact with the weakening device rotates the weakening device when the film is removed from the film supply. By providing a drive of the rotatable weakening device over the film itself, a particularly effective operation of the weakening device can be provided because the weakening device rotates only at the speed at which the film is also removed from the film supply. Too fast or too slow rotation of the weakening device with respect to the removal speed of the film could lead to destruction of the film by the weakening means, which can be successfully prevented by this drive option.
Another advantage is the provision of the dispenser area as the above applicator for transferring the film to a substrate. This embodiment is particularly advantageous for handsets for applying the film to a substrate, which are known in the art as adhesive rollers. In this case, the application device can preferably protrude from or out of the housing in certain areas, in particular in order to prevent destruction or damage to the substrate by regions of the housing. The applicator can be designed in particular as a role or as a projecting order foot.
A further advantage of using an application device as a dispensing area is the configuration of this application device as an application roller rotatably mounted on the housing. With such a dispenser, a particularly simple application of the film can be made possible, since the force to be applied by the user for transferring a film onto a substrate is particularly low due to the rotatable mounting of the application device. In addition, it may be considered useful that the role is made flexible or elastic, for example, to compensate for unevenness of the surface of the substrate and / or an oblique guidance of the dispenser with respect to the substrate plane, and to ensure a uniform pressing of the film onto the substrate ,
Another advantage is the arrangement of the axis of rotation of the application roller on the housing parallel to the axis of rotation of the attenuation device. With such a design, a particularly simple rolling of the film can be made possible, wherein tilting of the film during unrolling between the weakening device and the application roller can be avoided.
Another advantage is the use of a rotatable spool or film roll as a film supply with a spool or core, wherein on the spool or winding core of the film is wound. Of course, a coil is conceivable, which has no solid core, but which consists only of a wound film. Such coils are in particular as adhesive tape reels or -wickel sufficiently well known and belong to the prior art and can be purchased as low priced and come in a simple manner in a dispenser according to the invention for use.
Another advantage of using a spool, which is rotatably mounted in the housing, is the parallel arrangement of the axes of rotation of each of the application roller of the attenuator and the coil. By such an arrangement of the rotatable components to one another in particular tilting of the film during unrolling of the film roll and during the application or removal of the film can be prevented from the donor.
Another advantage is the design of the dispenser with a film supply in the form of a spool rotatably mounted on the housing with a spool core on which the film is wound, which is unwound in a donor direction of the film winding. As well as the design of the dispensing area in the form of a rotatably mounted on the housing application roller for applying the film to a substrate and the attenuation device in the form of a rotatably mounted on the housing perforating roller, which is arranged between or application roller and spool, said perforation radially projecting perforating for equipping the film with a weakened area, and wherein the film unwound from the reel touches the perforating roll tangentially or at least segmentally at least in regions, and wherein the unwinding of the film in the dispensing direction leads to a rotation of the perforation roll. With such a dispenser, a hand-held device for applying a film for application to a substrate can be provided, whereby the film taken from the film supply, which is brought past the perforation roller, is perforated continuously during the removal and thus weakening areas are provided. The removal or the application of the film to a substrate by means of the job role. The user can separate an arbitrarily large film portion by separating the same over a perforation or a weakened area from the remaining film.

The present dispenser 1 has a
After removal from the
The touching around the
Due to the rotation of the perforating
The
After transferring the desired film portion, the user may separate the film portion at any weakened
