Claims (10)

  1. Device for severing film webs, having a fixed blade by means of which a film web can be severed, and having a protective device arranged such that it can be moved relative to the blade and can be transferred alternately into a starting position or a cutting position, wherein the protective device can be pushed into the cutting position with the film web to be severed, characterized in that at least that part of the protective device which comes into contact with the film to be cut has a rough surface and/or an undulating structure and/or a grooved structure.
