Damit der Klebebandabschnitt 02 in der richtigen Länge vom Klebeband 06 abgelängt
werden kann, wird die Vorrichtung 01 vor Erreichen des Endes der Klebestelle 03 in
einem bestimmten Abstand z. B. angehalten, aber auch beim Verfahren der Vorrichtung
01 kann durchtrennt werden. Dieser Abstand entspricht gerade der Länge des
Klebebandes 06 zwischen der Klebezone 09 und einer Schnittzone 19, in der das
Klebeband 06 durch Eingriff eines Rundmessers 21 abgetrennt werden kann. Fig. 1 stellt
die Vorrichtung 01 gerade in dem Zustand dar, in dem das Rundmesser 21 durch
Zustellung am Klebeband 06 in Eingriff gebracht wird.Thus, the

Fig. 2 stellt die Vorrichtung 01 nach Erreichen des Endes der Klebestelle 03 dar. Die
Andruckwalze 16 wurde nach oben abgestellt, so dass der Klebebandabschnitt 02
vollständig vom Klebeband 06 abgetrennt ist Die durch Einsatz der Schneideinrichtung
08 gebildeten Schnittenden 23 und 24 sind vollständig voneinander getrennt. Vom
Klebebandabschnitt 02 ist das Abdeckband 12 vollständig abgezogen, wohingegen das
Schnittende 24 des Klebebands 06 weiterhin am Abdeckband 12 anliegt, so dass die
Klebeschicht geschützt ist Die Position des Schnittendes 24 nach Abheben der Fig. 2 illustrates the
Andruckwalze 16 ist exakt bestimmt, so dass das Schnittende 24 bei Anbringung des
Klebebands 06 an einer nächsten Klebestelle 03 relativ genau positioniert werden kann.
Außerdem wird das Schnittende 24 durch Anhaften am Abdeckband 12 exakt geführt.
Die Funktion der Schneideinrichtung 08 beim Durchtrennen des mehrschichtigen
Klebebandes 06 ist in Fig. 3 schematisch dargestellt. Das Rundmesser 21 ist in vier
Schritten schematisch dargestellt, wobei das Rundmesser 21 in Schritt zwei bis vier
strichpunktiert dargestellt ist. Ausgehend von einer abgestellten Grundstellung des
Rundmessers 21 wird das Rundmesser 21 zum Durchtrennen des Klebebands 06
zunächst entsprechend dem Bewegungspfeil 26 an das Auflageelement 22 angestellt, so
dass die umlaufende Schneide 27 des Rundmessers 21 auf der Oberfläche des
Auflageelements 22 anliegt. Danach wird das Rundmesser 21 in einer linearen
Vorschubbewegung in Richtung des Bewegungspfeils 28 rechtwinklig - was jedoch nicht innerhalb der beanspruchten Erfindung füllt - oder schräg zur
Längsachse (strichpunktiert dargestellt in Fig. 4) des Klebebandes 06 verfahren, wobei
die Schneide 27 entsprechend dem Bewegungspfeil 29 um den Drehpunkt 31 des

eingestellte Druck das Rundmesser 21 und der Schneidwiderstand des Abdeckbandes 12
eine Durchtrennung des Abdeckbandes 12 verhindern. Sobald das Rundmesser 21 das
Klebeband 06 vollständig durchtrennt hat, wird es gemäß dem Bewegungspfeil 32
abgestellt und gemäß dem Bewegungspfeil 33 in seine nicht dargestellte Grundstellung

Claims (13)
- An apparatus for cutting through an adhesive strip (06) which is provided on at least one side (11) with an adhesive layer covered by a covering strip (12), with a cutting device (08) which cuts through the adhesive strip (06) in a cutting zone (19), wherein the cutting device (08) is capable of being made to engage with a defined force on the adhesive strip (06) during the cutting-through of the adhesive strip (06), wherein a cutting edge (27) of the cutting device (08) is supported on the covering strip (12) during the cutting, wherein the cutting device (08) is capable of being displaced by a displacement device transversely to the longitudinal axis of the adhesive strip (06) and wherein a supporting element (22) is arranged opposite the cutting device (08) so that the adhesive strip (06) can be passed through between the cutting device (08) and the supporting element (22), characterized in that the cutting device (08) travels obliquely to the conveying direction of the adhesive strip (06) during the further conveying of the adhesive strip (06) and during the cutting-through.
- An apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the cutting device (08) is designed in such a way that the cutting device (08) allows the adhesive strip (06) to be cut through whilst maintaining a connexion of the covering strip (12) resting on the adhesive strip (06) over the cutting zone (19).
- An apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the cutting device (08) is arranged in such a way that it is capable of being made to engage with the adhesive strip (06) on the side (13) of the adhesive strip (06) facing away from the covering strip (12).
- An apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the cutting device (08) has a revolving blade (21) with a cutting edge (27) provided on the external periphery.
- An apparatus according to Claim 4, characterized in that the revolving blade (21) is capable of being driven in a rotating manner by a driving device.
- An apparatus according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the cutting device (08) is mounted in a springing manner.
- An apparatus according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that a winding device (18), by which the covering strip (12) drawn off from the adhesive strip (06) is capable of being wound up, is provided in the apparatus (01).
- An apparatus according to any one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that a roll holder (04) for storing an adhesive strip (06) wound up to form a roll is provided in the apparatus (01).
- An apparatus according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the apparatus (01) is mounted on a slide which is displaceable parallel to the axis of rotation of a roll of material, in particular a roll of paper.
- A method of preparing an adhesion point (03) comprising the following steps:rolling off a multiple-layer adhesive strip (06) comprising at least one adhesive layer and at least one covering strip (12);the adhesive strip (06) is conveyed further during the cutting-through of the adhesive layer;a cutting device (08) is displaced obliquely to the conveying direction of the adhesive strip (06) in order to cut through the adhesive layer;cutting through the said adhesive layer of the adhesive strip (06), wherein the adhesive layer is joined to the covering strip (12) and the covering strip (12) is not separated.
- A method according to Claim 10, wherein the adhesive layer is fastened to the adhesion point (03).
- A method according to Claim 10, wherein the adhesive layer remains at the adhesion point (03) and the covering strip not cut is conveyed further.
- A method according to Claim 10, wherein an inclination of the direction of movement of the cutting device (08) is adapted to an advancing speed of the adhesive strip (06), so that a straight cutting pattern takes place transversely to the conveying direction of the adhesive strip (06).
