- the flexible tube 3 Since the flexible tube 3 remains outside the animal, it is possible for the operator to observe the behavior of this flexible tube 3 as and when insemination. It is noted that at the end of insemination the flexible tube 3 takes at least partially a flattened shape, which could mean that a certain depression is formed inside the probe. It was found that when this phenomenon occurs, the residual amount of seed in the probe is only a few milliliters for a quantity of seed introduced into the probe of the order of 85 ml.
