Claims (11)
- Hair brush with retractable bristles (B), comprising an outer tubular body (4), a bristle carrier (10) rotatably supported within the tubular body (4) in respect to it, the bristles (B) being connected to said bristle carrier, said outer tubular body (4) having openings (5) through which the bristles (B) reach in their position of use, and an actuator unit through which the bristle carrier (10) can be rotated in respect to the outer tubular body (4) for retracting and/or for exposing the bristles (B), wherein the actuator unit has an adjusting element (15), which is adjustable in an axial direction to the rotation axis of the bristle carrier (10) and operable through an actuator (8), for rotating the bristle carrier (10), characterised in that the hair brush (1) has a housing part (2) with the actuator (8) as a stator unit and the outer tubular body (4) with the bristle carrier (10) supported therein and the adjusting element (15) in respect to the stator unit form a rotor unit which is allocated a rotary transmitter (11), connected to the rotor unit in a torque-fit manner, with a coupling member (13) for receiving a rotational drive motion for driving the rotor unit, the adjusting element (15), in said rotary transmitter (11), being translationally movable in an adjusting element receptacle, wherein, for the purpose of the translational drive of the adjusting element (15), a driver (24) is provided which is connected to the adjusting element (15) and reaches through the wall of the adjusting element receptacle, with the output motion of the stator-end actuator (8), for the translational motion of the adjusting element (15), in respect to the adjusting element receptacle, acting on the end, which is located outside the rotary transmitter (11), of said driver.
- Hair brush according to claim 1, characterised in that the driver is implemented as a pin (24) which reaches through an adjusting slot (17), extending in an axial direction, of the wall of the adjusting element receptacle and engages the adjusting element (15) whose outer end, which projects from the rotary transmitter (11), is connected to a driver ring (23) which annularly encloses the adjusting element receptacle and is movable, in an axial direction, in respect to the adjusting element receptacle as part of the rotor unit, with the output motion of the actuator (8) acting against said driver ring.
- Hair brush according to claim 2, characterised in that the driver ring (23) is received in an actuator ring (26) which is allocated to the stator unit and movable in an axial direction in respect to the rotary transmitter (11) with at least one adjusting surface acting against a front face of the driver ring (23).
- Hair brush according to claim 3, characterised in that the actuator ring (26) has two adjusting surfaces of which, for moving the driver ring (23), one adjusting surface acts on the one front face and the other adjusting surface acts on the other front face of the driver ring (23).
- Hair brush according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the actuator is implemented as an adjusting lever (8).
- Hair brush according to claim 5, characterised in that the output arm of the adjusting lever (8) is connected to the actuator ring (26) by interposing a reduction lever (28).
- Hair brush according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the adjusting element (15) is connected to the bristle carrier (10) via a link drive with a helical adjusting link (19).
- Hair brush according to claim 7, characterised in that the adjusting element (15), in its bristle-carrier-end section, has two opposing adjusting link sections (14), diametral to the rotation axis, as drive elements into which an adjusting pin (20) allocated to the bristle carrier (10) engages as an output element and is displaceable therein.
- Hair brush according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the rotary transmitter (11) is rotatably supported in the housing part (2) in a bearing connected thereto through spokes (S) and the space in between the spokes (S) serves as a path for allowing a hot-air flow through.
- Hair brush according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the hair brush (1) is implemented as a brush attachment for attaching onto a hand-held device, which provides a hot-air flow, with a drive shaft engaging the coupling member in a torque-fit manner.
- Hair brush according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the hair brush is part of a hair styling device with an electric drive for driving the rotor unit of the hair brush and with a hot-air blower.
