Bei den bekannten Profilen ergibt sich das Problem, dass bei der Montage eine Schraube mit passendem Werkzeug gebraucht wird (Schraubenvariante) oder/und das Abdeckteil äußerst instabil in den Basisteil eingreift und somit ungewollt wegschwenken kann (Einsteckvariante). Ebenso ergibt sich bei der Einsteckvariante das Problem, dass Basisteil und Abdeckteil nicht zerstörungsfrei voneinander getrennt werden können.
Es ist somit Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein Universalprofil zu schaffen, welches bei der Montage kein Werkzeug erfordert und die Nachteile der oben genannten Einsteckvariante vermeidet.

Zudem können die gegenüberstehenden Wangen des Unterprofils für eine Trennung von Deckprofil und Unterprofil aufeinander zu bewegt werden, wodurch sich die Rastzähne aus der Innenbezahnung des Deckprofils lösen und das Deckprofil von dem Unterprofil abgenommen werden kann. Vorteilhaft empfiehlt es sich hierbei, für die Wangen des Unterprofils ein elastisches aber dennoch formstabiles Material zu verwenden. Der Zwischenraum zwischen den Wangen sowie auch die Wangen selbst können dabei durch ihre Abmessungen und Form zur Elastizität bzw. Beweglichkeit beitragen. Dadurch, dass der Kopfabschnitt des Unterprofils einen V-förmigen Außenquerschnitt aufweist, wird der benötigte Anpressdruck zwischen Unterprofil und Deckprofil gewährleistet, so dass die Rastzähne stabil und ortsfest in der Innenbezahnung des Deckprofils gehalten werden.
Eine Ausführungsvariante sieht vor, dass die Rastzähne des Unterprofils so in die Innenbezahnung des Deckprofils eingreifen, dass die Flächennormale des Deckprofils zu der Flächennormalen des Unterprofils in einem Winkel zwischen ca. +15° und -15° verstellbar ausgebildet

Figur 3 zeigt ein Universalprofil, ausgebildet als Abschlussprofil. Hier ist das Universalprofil in seinem auseinander gebauten Zustand dargestellt, wobei als Zapfenprofil 3 eine von zwei unterschiedlich hohen Ausführungen gewählt werden kann. Beide Zapfenprofile 3 verfügen über Wangen 5 mit jeweils einem nach außen weisenden Rastzahn 6.
Die Erfindung gemäß dem Ausführungsbeispiel in Figur 1 funktioniert so, dass das Unterprofil 1 mit dem Fußboden, z.B. dem Estrich, verschraubt oder verklebt wird. Das Zapfenprofil 3 ist bereits mit dem Schlitzprofil 2 zu einer vorgefertigten Einheit verbunden. Der gewünschte Fußbodenbelag, z.B. ein Teppich oder ein Laminat, wird auf den länglichen Fuß des Schlitzprofils 2 gelegt. Anschließend wird das Deckprofil 7 über dem Unterprofil 1 und dem oder den anliegenden Bodenbelägen positioniert und mit seiner Innenbezahnung 8 über die Rastzähne 6 des Zapfenprofils 3 geschoben. Je nach der Dicke des Bodenbelags kann die Innenbezahnung 8 mehr oder weniger weit über die Rastzähne 6 in Richtung des Bodenbelages geschoben werden. Die Materialverjüngungen 12 des Deckprofils 7 sorgen dabei für die erforderliche Elastizität des Deckprofils 7.
Falls zwei Bodenbeläge mit leicht unterschiedlichen Dicken im Bereich des Universalprofils aufeinander stoßen, sorgt eine Verkippung des Zapfenprofils 3 innerhalb des Schlitzprofils 2 für eine leichte Neigung des Deckprofils 7 relativ zu der Fußebene des Schlitzprofils 2 (nicht in den Figuren dargestellt). Hierdurch kann eine geringe Neigung um +/- 2,5° erreicht werden. Falls eine solche Verkippung des Zapfenprofils 3 innerhalb des Schlitzprofils 2 nicht gewünscht ist, empfiehlt sich die Verwendung eines einteiligen Unterprofils 1 gemäß Figur 2.
Bei Dickendifferenzen, die größer sind als es die Schwenkbarkeit von Zapfenprofil und Schlitzprofil ausgleichen kann, oder bei einteiligen Unterprofilen, können die Rastzähne 6 in voneinander verschiedenen Rasthöhen der Innenbezahnung 8 des Deckprofils 7 verkippt werden. Je nach der Größe und Form der Rastzähne 6 und der Zähne 9 der Innenbezahnung 8 ergibt sich zusätzlich eine mehr oder weniger große Verschwenkbarkeit.
Die wesentlichen Eigenschaften und Vorteile des erfindungsgemäßen Profils lassen sich wie folgt zusammenfassen: Das Deckprofil 7 ist an dem Unterprofil 1 einfach verrastbar (keine Schraubverbindung). Außerdem kann die Winkelstellung des Deckprofils 7 relativ zum Unterprofil 1 in verschiedenen Raststufen verstellt werden. Voraussetzung hierfür ist die im Querschnitt V-förmige Ausgestaltung des Unterprofils 1 in Kombination mit der Innenbezahnung 8 an dem Deckprofil 7. Wesentlich ist außerdem, dass an den Wangen 5 jeweils nur eine einzige Rastzahn 6 vorgesehen ist. Es kommt zu einer sehr stabilen Dreipunktauflage des Deckprofils 7, nämlich an den Oberflächen der aneinander grenzenden Fußböden und an dem Unterprofil 1. Für die Stabilität der Verbindung ist von Vorteil, dass die Flügel des Deckprofils 7 elastisch federn. Hierzu sind insbesondere die entsprechenden Materialverjüngungen 12 an dem Deckprofil 7 angebracht.

If two floor coverings with slightly different thicknesses in the area of the universal profile abut each other, tilting of the pin profile 3 within the slot profile 2 ensures a slight inclination of the cover profile 7 relative to the foot plane of the slot profile 2 (not shown in the figures). Claims (4)

  1. Universal profile, in particular for covering joints between floor coverings of different height, having a lower profile (1) which is connected to a cover profile (7), wherein the lower profile (1) has a head portion (4) with two opposite cheeks (5) which point in the direction of the cover profile (7),
    characterized in that each cheek (5) has only one latching tooth (6) on the outwardly pointing side of the cheek (5), which tooth engages in an inner toothing (8) of the cover profile (7), and wherein the head portion (4) of the lower profile (1) has a V-shaped outer cross section, wherein the lower profile (1) is of two-part design, wherein the lower profile (1) has a slot profile (2) and a plug profile (3) which are connected to one another in a form-fitting manner, wherein the plug profile (3) in the slot profile (2) is designed to be pivotable by +/- 2.5° relative to the normal to the surface of the slot profile (2).
  2. Universal profile according to Claim 1,
