Definitions
- the present invention relates to a protective over-shoe, reusable, and directly adjustable to the street shoes with great ease, allowing visitors to occasionally move in areas at risk, as part of the personal protective equipment.
- EP-2064964 it is specified that it includes an elastic adjustable to the size of the town shoe connected to a forefoot leather and / or textile covering a tip, a non-slip pad, a leather upper lining and / or textile, a similar lining for the dressing of the inside of the mouthpiece, a back protector bumper leather and / or textile.
- the document DE 40 41 009 discloses an overshoe according to the preamble of claim 1.
- connecting means between the front part and the flange allow relative movement between them.
- the use of articulation means is recommended.
- Rotating means will in particular be favorable to allow the front portion and the rear flange to pivot relative to each other.
- over-shoe 1 comprising a hollow front portion 3 open at the rear (AR) for engaging the shoe (thin line 5; fig.8 ), and a rear strap 7 to pass behind the heel 50 of this shoe.
- the hollow front portion 3 has a sole 31.
- the rear flange 7 is structurally dissociated from the front part 3, that is to say that the two parts constitute two separate, independent parts.
- these means 8 allow movement between the front portion 3 and the flange 7.
- these means for movement comprise, on each side of the hollow part before 3, two structurally dissociated parts 9, 11 comprising a cylindrical pin 9a projecting terminated by an enlarged head 9b and forcibly engaged or screwed into a tubular shaft 11a itself terminated by an enlarged head 11b; see fig.6 .
- the means 8 or 9,11 pass into orifices, respectively 30, 70, of the front part and of the rear flange. They are thus preferably arranged perpendicular to the axis of elongation of the overshoe.
- FIG. 1 the over-shoe 1 is in the normal position of use.
- the rear flange 7 is tilted substantially horizontally and is passed behind the heel 50.
- Figure 2 the rear flange 7 is tilted upwards.
- a free swing down is also a priori possible and will be more convenient to put on the shoe.
- this flange here monobloc, widens from front to rear. This will be supportive of flexibility, elasticity and good back support.
- FIG. 7 we always see figure 1 that, laterally, on both sides, it will favorably present a slot 73 elongate in the direction of elongation of the flange. It will be noted that, in the figures, this slot 73 thus separates respectively upper and lower zones forming strips. In this way, we will associate resistance, flexibility and elasticity.
- the strips can be joined together in the intermediate part, for example to mid-length, by an integrated spacer (therefore made of plastic). figures 1 and 3 for example, it is seen that these strips are preferably also joined at the rear by the widened heel 73 which can be surmounted by the tongue 71.
- the front part 3 and the flange 7 are made entirely of elastomer or thermoplastic plastic, in particular TPV (vulcanized thermoplastic), TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), preferably with a hardness between 5 and 60 shores D.
- TPV vulcanized thermoplastic
- TPU thermoplastic polyurethane
- TPE thermoplastic elastomer
- the flange 7 has an elastic elongation capacity greater than 1000%, or even 1150%. We also advise a remanent deformation of less than 50%. Preferably this flange will be molded monobloc.
- the sole 31 of the front part is refined in thickness, at the rear, 31a where it has a chamfered portion, over its entire width.
- FIG. 2 , 8 It can now be seen that in front of, on the instep, the front portion 3 will favorably present one or more protuberances 17 elongated substantially horizontally and extending laterally. This will limit the risk of obstacles sliding along the area upwards and reaching the ankle.
- the front portion 3 made of plastic material will be reinforced at the front, at the toe area, by a hollow shell 18 that is more rigid and mechanically stronger than said plastic material.
- a hollow shell 18 that is more rigid and mechanically stronger than said plastic material.
- the shell 18 is, during the molding of the front portion 3, embedded in the plastic material in which said front portion will be formed.
- This hull goes up here down to the bottom of the instep.
- she extends in the front of the sole 31, which increases its strength.
- the shell 18 may be metallic, especially stainless steel; but it is recommended that it be made of a non-metallic, non-magnetic composite material.
- the connecting means 8 between the front portion 3 and the rear flange 7 (which may be each identical to that described above) comprise, on one of the parts (3 or 7), at least one stud (or pin) protruding 90a forcibly engaged in one of several orifices 110a, 110b, 110c formed on the other part.
- Fig.9 we see such a plot. An elastic connection in the manner of clips can thus be realized. The use of several pads thus engaged in several orifices would secure the connection.
- the lateral portion 33a of lesser thickness extends to the forepart at the place of the instep, above the zone reinforced by the hollow shell 17, this zone of extra thickness joining said part 33b, with which it forms here a same set, including the integrated tongue 330b which , from the front, projects upward; see also fig.3 .
- One or more rows 110a, 110b, 110c disposed substantially parallel to the axis 15 of elongation, as illustrated, will allow adjustment in length, so a matching in sizes.
- connecting means 8 provided, in part, on the front portion 3, and partly on the flange 7, made of malleable plastic material and inter-engaged (here by force and / or by screwing as the pin (s) and barrel (s) or stud (s) and orifice (s) will promote a safe and inexpensive connection.
- the links 8 could be removable, once the parts formed respectively on the front portion 3 and on the flange 7 engaged together. This would replace for example a broken flange and interchangeability.
- a unit of several overshoes available each of the type presented above, comprises several front parts 3 of several different sizes and fewer rear flanges 7 than front parts 3.

Description
The present invention relates to a protective over-shoe, reusable, and directly adjustable to the street shoes with great ease, allowing visitors to occasionally move in areas at risk, as part of the personal protective equipment.
- difficulty of holding all the sizes of shoes, and in large quantity to equip the visitors,
- need for a permanent stock of safety shoes for visitors,
- significant manufacturing cost,
- need to clean, disinfect and clean shoes after use.
A problem remains, however, which concerns the manufacture of the overshoe and the conditions of use which result from it.
In addition, a precise procedure is to be followed for the manufacture: in the first place, it is proceeded to the cutting of all the elements; in the second place, it is proceeded to the piecing assembly of a part of the pieces; third, it is proceeded to the dressing of the tip by the cut elements of leather and textile (s); finally, the gluing of the shoe is carried out.
In the solution here imagined, it is, differently, proposed an over-shoe according to claim 1, to facilitate walking and further increase the safety of use, and also for the safety against both chemical attacks of products on the ground and slips.
This must effectively overcome the disadvantages mentioned above, while allowing visitors not to take off shoes during factory visits or occasional passages in risk areas. The foot is not in contact with the over-shoe, there is no need for cleaning after use.
This last point will be all the more satisfied if we respect the recommendation according to which the front part and the flange are (preferably exclusively) elastomeric plastic or thermoplastic. We recommend a hardness of between 5 and 60 shores D. This will also ensure good safety of use.
It is further recommended that the connecting means between the front part and the flange allow relative movement between them. The use of articulation means is recommended. Rotating means will in particular be favorable to allow the front portion and the rear flange to pivot relative to each other. Thus, we will combine ease of manufacture and ease of use.
Other characteristics of the over-shoe are discussed below.
Note that is also concerned a set of several over-shoes each comprising all or part of the features of the one presented here, this set comprising several front parts of several different sizes and fewer rear flanges than front parts.

Sur les illustrations, on voit donc une sur-chaussure 1 comprenant une partie avant creuse 3 ouverte à l'arrière (AR) pour qu'y soit engagée la chaussure (trait fin 5 ;
The
These
In this case, these means 8 allow movement between the
Here, it is a means of articulation allowing a rotation between the
The means 8 or 9,11 pass into orifices, respectively 30, 70, of the front part and of the rear flange. They are thus preferably arranged perpendicular to the axis of elongation of the overshoe.
Moreover, for the reasons mentioned above, the
Another recommendation is that the
Resistance to peel off the 900 N rubber band is also provided.
- extend, towards the rear, substantially to the right of the top 13a of an
area 13 of thefront part 3 which goes up on the instep, - and / or this sole will be ridged, at 130, and, at 131, provided with preferably quadrangular and longitudinally spaced studs.
It is advisable that the
This hull goes up here down to the bottom of the instep. By the way, in figures, she extends in the front of the sole 31, which increases its strength.
The
With such a shell, it is expected to provide toe protection against shocks equivalent to 200 Joules and against the risk of crushing under a maximum load of 1500 daN.
If it is expected that a pad on either side will allow a rotation between parts 3.7. One or
Note that, in both versions, the use of connecting
The
Thus, it would be possible to provide only three sizes of
