Description

The present invention relates to a retractable ground recessed luminaire according to the preamble of claim 1.

Ground recessed lights, which are passable and can be rolled over, are generally state of the art. At such ground recessed luminaires special requirements are made in terms of robustness. In particular, the glass sheets, which are used as a cover of the light exit opening of a retractable ground light, particularly high loads withstand, since they are part of the lane or part of the drive over flooring. The cover glass of a retractable recessed ground luminaire is usually aligned horizontally, at least if the roadway has no slope. The directions given below refer to the standard installation situation of a retractable in-ground luminaire, according to which both the carriageway and the glass are aligned horizontally. It goes without saying that the recessed ground light of the present invention can also be used in cases where the roadway has a slope and thus the glass of the recessed ground light also has a different orientation from the horizontal.

In addition to the requirement of the robustness of recessed floor luminaire and cover glass, the floor recessed luminaires also require a very good seal between the glass pane and luminaire housing so that no water can penetrate into the luminaire.

An overridden ground recessed light is for example from the DE 102006060371 A1 known. The ground recessed luminaire known from this publication is sealed relative to the housing by means of a soft-elastic seal, the seal enclosing the edge of the glass pane C-shaped. The glass pane thus lies directly against the soft-elastic seal both with its underside and with the edge. The edge of the glass pane is also stepped from the top so that the soft elastic seal can enclose the lower step of the edge on the upper side without protruding beyond the top of the glass pane.

Another retractable recessed ground luminaire with a seal that encloses the edge of the glass C-shaped circumferential is out DE 102004009632 A1 known. Again, the edge of the glass pane is stepped, so that the top of the glass is at the level of the carriageway and there are no seals or panels beyond this level. The circumferential soft elastic seal is disposed between the glass sheet and a flange of the lamp housing.

Another ground recessed luminaire with the sealing principle described above is off DE 10013304 B4 known.

The sealing principle of the known from the prior art retractable recessed ground lights has the consequence that the glass pane is floating due to the edge of the glass enclosing seal so to speak floating and can move due to the elasticity of the seal and acting on the glass loads against the lamp housing. This does not cause problems under static load even under high load. Even under dynamic load, the known from the prior art seals provide good protection, for example, against the ingress of moisture, as long as the alternating load is slow. However, at high and in particular high-frequency dynamic load, the seal is not able to follow the rapid movements of the glass, whereby moisture and dirt can enter the luminaire housing. Regardless of whether the load on the glass writing is now static or dynamic, the load is accompanied by wear of the seal, which in particular affects the part of the seal on which the glass pane rests with its underside.

Object of the present invention is therefore to provide a drive-over floor light of the type mentioned above, which is sufficiently sealed against external influences, in particular penetrating moisture, even at high and high-frequency loading of the glass. It is a further object of the invention to improve the known sealing system retractable recessed floor lights and to increase the life of the seals used.

The object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Accordingly, a solution according to the invention is the task before, when the seal is disposed at least on a peripheral first portion of the edge and / or on the upper side of the glass in the edge region, wherein the glass with the Bottom of a receptacle of the lamp housing is applied, and wherein the recording is hard compared to the seal. Preferably, the glass sheet is thereby peripherally positively against the recording. It should be noted that a partial investment is possible. However, load introduction is in the luminaire housing and stress distribution in the glass better or more advantageous if a positive circumferential system exists. Due to the solution according to the invention, the soft elastic gasket undergoes no load on vertically directed on the top of the glass pane load. In addition, the glass is under dynamic load, which is directed perpendicular to the top of the glass, not constantly moved up and down, since the recording is hard at least compared to the soft elastic seal and thus rigid. Accordingly, the soft elastic seal does not have to constantly adapt to such a dynamic load and therefore does not experience any wear.

Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der vorliegenden Erfindung sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.Advantageous embodiments of the present invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, the glass pane also bears against the receptacle with a second partial area of the edge. Related to the standard installation situation of a retractable ground recessed luminaire there is thus also a horizontal installation between the glass pane and the rigid receptacle. As a result, a movement of the glass in the horizontal direction is also excluded. In the known from the prior art C-shaped seals, the glass pane moves due to horizontal force, for example, by braking, accelerating or change direction of moving over the recessed ground vehicle vehicles membrane-like, whereby moisture is pumped into the lamp interior. In this type of horizontal load acting on the glass plate alternating wear of the known from the prior art seals is particularly high. By investing at least a portion of the edge of the glass sheet on the receptacle of the lamp housing this type of loading of the seal and the associated wear is avoided. Preferably, the portion of the edge which bears against the receptacle, a lower peripheral edge of the edge adjacent to the underside of the glass sheet. It should be pointed out that, alternatively, an upper circumferential region of the edge or a central region can rest on the hard receptacle, wherein the seal can abut as a circumferential radial seal at the bottom. However, this constructive possibility is more complicated to implement than in the aforementioned preferred case.

In a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, the receptacle is made of a material whose modulus of elasticity is above 1000 N / mm 2 , wherein the seal consists of a material whose modulus of elasticity is below 1000 N / mm 2 . It It should be noted that by the installation of the glass pane on the receptacle of the lamp housing by the preferred form-fit and the selected material of the recording can already be a seal. The actual sealing is finally ensured only by the soft elastic seal. In any case, it is important that the material used for the recording is sufficiently hard or rigid, so that movement of the glass sheet is excluded due to the loads acting on the glass pane. As a rule, this is achieved by the elasticity modulus of the material used for the absorption being above a value of 1000 N / mm 2 . Preferably, the material from which the receptacle is made, a plastic such as polyamide or Teflon. Metals are also very suitable for making the recordings. A gentle storage of the glass pane is possible, for example, using aluminum or copper.

In a further particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention, the receptacle is formed by a receiving ring. A receiving ring can be manufactured as a separate component and thus extremely precise, whereby an excellent fit between glass and receiving ring can be achieved particularly cost-effective and easy to manufacture. The remainder of the luminaire housing therefore does not have to be manufactured together with the receptacle made of a material, whereby the different requirements for different parts of the luminaire housing can be met. Preferably, the majority of the lamp housing is made of stainless steel in order to perform the luminaire housing as robust as possible, durable and, above all, corrosion resistant.

In a further particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention, the edge of the glass pane to the top has a chamfer, wherein the seal bears against the chamfer. As a result, a particularly good and reliable sealing is achieved in a simple manner. Preferably, the seal is pressed by a diaphragm ring against the chamfer, which is bolted to the lamp housing. An inner contour of the diaphragm ring runs parallel to the chamfer, so that the soft elastic gasket is pressed during assembly of the diaphragm ring in both the vertical and horizontal direction against the chamfer of the glass. In this way, the quality of the seal can be further improved. Another advantage is achieved when the aperture ring is flush with the top of the glass. This allows glass pane and aperture ring optimally in the road surface are fitted without causing any irregularities in the road surface.

In a further particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention, the glass pane is precision-ground without notching. Due to the notch-free contour of the edge, the glass pane is not weakened and may have a considerably thinner material thickness compared to the known stepped ground glass with the same load absorption. Thereby a cost saving is achieved. Precision grinding also achieves an excellent form-locking contact with the receptacle and avoids voltage peaks.

A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to drawings.

For the following explanations, the same reference numerals refer to identical parts.

In the FIG. 1 illustrated recessed downlight 1 according to the invention consists essentially of a lamp housing 2, in the socket 14, illuminant 15 and reflector 16 are arranged, as well as a the upper light exit opening of the lamp housing covering glass 5. The luminaire housing 2 is constructed in several parts and comprises the inner housing pot 3, that outer housing 4 and a flange 18. Inner housing pot 3 and outer housing 4 are cylindrical and arranged concentrically with each other. These two main components of the lamp housing 2 are preferably made of stainless steel and are connected to each other at the top via the flange 18. The flange 18 is a separate component and may be made of aluminum, for example. Shown in FIG. 1 is also a cable inlet 17 of the inner housing pot, which is arranged in the lower region near the socket 14. The cable inlet 17 comprises a system for sealing the inner housing pot 3 against moisture penetration.

The glass sheet 5, which is provided to cover the light exit opening, is mounted in a receiving ring 12 which rests on a peripheral base of the flange 18 and is fitted in the flange 18. The top of the glass sheet is numbered 6, the underside designated by the reference numeral 7 and the edge by the reference numeral 8. The receiving ring 12 has an L-shaped cross section and rests with a leg on a lower portion 9 of the edge 8 of the glass pane 5 at. The lower portion 9 of the rim 8 may be cylindrical or, as shown, preferably slightly tapered upwardly. The conical design facilitates the assembly and ensures an improved positive connection between the glass pane 5 and the receiving ring 12. The glass pane 5 rests with its lower side 7 on the lower, horizontally extending leg of the receiving ring 12. Between the receiving ring 12 and the glass pane 5 there is a precise positive engagement, which is achieved in that the receiving ring 12 made extremely precise and the edge 8 of the glass pane 5 is ground all around precise. The receiving ring 12 is made of Teflon, with other plastics such as polyamide or metals such as aluminum or copper, for making the receiving ring 12 are suitable. Compared to conventional recessed ground luminaires, in which the glass sheet rests on a soft elastic seal or is enclosed at the edge of this soft-elastic seal, the inventive storage of the glass in the receiving ring 12 is a rigid storage. Especially in the choice of Teflon for the material the receiving ring 12 can be given a seal between the glass pane 5 and receiving ring 12 in the inventive solution. However, a secure seal is finally achieved only by the arranged above the receiving ring 12 seal 11. Between the receiving ring 12, which is to be regarded as part of the lamp housing 2, and also the lamp housing 2 associated flange 18 may be an interference fit. Likewise, there may also be a slight interference fit between the edge of the glass sheet and the receiving ring. The soft elastic seal 11 abuts against a chamfer 10 formed in the upper region of the edge 8 of the glass pane 5 and on an upper region of the leg of the receiving ring 12 abutting the cylindrical region 9 of the edge 8 of the glass pane 5. In addition, the seal 11 is located with its underside on the flange 18 of the inner housing pot 3. A radially outwardly led projection 19 of the L-shaped receiving ring 12 also engages in a groove of the seal 11 a. This positive tongue and groove connection between the receiving ring 12 and seal 11 is used in particular as an assembly aid. The soft elastic seal 11 is of a diaphragm ring 13, which in the assembled state, the Glass pane 5 surrounds annular and also ends with the top 6 of the glass, pressed against both the chamfer 10 of the edge 8 of the glass pane 5 and against an upper surface of the flange 18. The diaphragm ring 13 is bolted to the flange 18 and is in the assembled state both on the seal 11 and on a projection of the flange 18. Loads acting on the diaphragm ring, for example, from rolling over vehicles are thus not derived via the seal 11, but via the flange 18 in the lamp housing 2 of the recessed ground light 1. Likewise, loads acting on the glass pane 5 are discharged via the receiving ring 12 and the flange 18 and not via the seal 11 into the lamp housing 2. A decoupling of the soft elastic seal 11 of these acting loads is achieved in particular by the fact that seal 11 and receiving ring 12 are two separate components. Instead of the sealing achieved by the seal 11 shown between diaphragm ring 13 and glass pane 5 and flange 18 would also be an additional seal for the seal between diaphragm ring 13 and flange 18 is conceivable. The aperture ring 13 is preferably made of a robust, wear-resistant and visually appealing material. For example, stainless steel is suitable for this purpose.

Bodenbelag bzw. Fahrbahn sind in den Darstellungen nicht gezeigt. It should be noted that the seal according to the invention is suitable not only for the illustrated version of a recessed floor luminaire with circular light exit opening, but also for recessed floor luminaires with other geometry, such as square or rectangular, and oval or elongated recessed lighting. Furthermore, the sealing principle according to the invention can be used in all highly loaded lights. In the installed state, the aperture ring 13 and the upper side 6 of the glass pane 5 are usually fitted seamlessly into the roadway or the respective floor covering. Flooring or road are not shown in the illustrations.
