Claims (11)

    - means (21b, 21c, 21d, 21b', 21c', 21d', 22b, 22c, 22d, 22e) for mounting the hinge piece (22) in at least two positions relative to one (21) of the first and second portions (20, 21) of the carriage (1),
    characterized in that the carriage further comprises adjustment means for adjusting the mounting of the hinge piece (22) for the various mounting positions.
  2. A carriage according to claim 1, characterized in that the hinge piece (22) is rigid and mounted with at least one degree of freedom on at least one of the portions (20, 21) of the carriage (1).
  3. A carriage according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the hinge piece (22) has a first folded-over end (22a) forming a hinge (20b/22a) with the first carriage portion (20).
  4. A carriage according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the hinge piece (22) has at least a second folded-over end (22b, 22c) enabling it to be mounted on the second carriage portion (21).
  5. A carriage according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the second carriage portion (21) is provided with a plurality of recesses (21b, 21c, 21b', 21c') for receiving the second folded-over end (22b, 22c) of the hinge piece (22).
  6. A carriage according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the hinge piece is mounted without any degree of freedom on one of or on both of the first and second portions (20, 21) of the carriage (1).
  7. A carriage according to any preceding claim, characterized in that it further comprises at least two distinct hinge means (20d, 22) of different types, for hinging components (21, 25) of the carriage relative to a rigid body (20a) of the first portion of the carriage (20).
  8. A carriage according to claim 7, characterized in that first hinge means for hinging the carriage comprise a support (20d) for supporting at least one of the carrier wheels (25, 26) of the first carriage portion (20), which support is mounted to pivot (F1), relative to the carriage (1), about an axis (Z20) perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the wheel (Y20).
  9. A carriage according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the first carriage portion (20) carries two pairs of carrier wheels (25, 26) and two pairs of stabilizer wheels (125, 126).
  10. A carriage according to any preceding claim, characterized in that it further comprises means (20f, 21f) for fastening the ends of a flexible drive link (12) for driving the carriage respectively to the first and second portions (20, 21) of the carriage (1).
  11. A carriage according to any preceding claim, characterized in that the hinge axes (Z'20, Z22) of the two hinge means (20d, 22) are parallel and are separated by a distance (d200) less than the distance (d) between the two carriage portions.
