- the waste compactor according to the present invention fully achieves the intended aim and objects, in that it makes it possible to keep the blade at an optimal angle throughout the compaction stroke, by keeping the angle of thrust of the blade on the material to be compacted in a position that is at right angles to the sliding plane, for the same thrust power, thus making it possible to decrease the compaction surface and, therefore, to considerably increase the specific compaction values.
