Claims (5)

  1. Anlage, die ein dynamisches Wägemodul (3), das zwischen einem Modul zur Zufuhr (1) von Gegenständen und einem Modul zur Verarbeitung (2) von Gegenständen eingefügt ist, wobei das Wägemodul auf einem Weg eines Förderers (4) angeordnet ist, auf dem die Gegenstände in Serie mit einer bestimmten Geschwindigkeit bewegt werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Anlage ein Erfassungsmittel (6) umfasst, das zwischen dem Zufuhrmodul und dem Wägemodul angeordnet ist, um Abmessungen eines Gegenstands, der von dem Zufuhrmodul stammt, zu erfassen und die Abmessungen darstellende Daten an ein Steuersystem (9) zu liefern, dass der Förderer einen Umleitungsabschnitt (5) umfasst, der das Wägemodul überbrückt, und dass das Steuersystem (9) dazu eingerichtet ist, den Förderer derart zu steuern, dass ein Gegenstand wahlweise durch das Wägemodul oder durch den Umleitungsabschnitt in Richtung des Verarbeitungsmoduls gelenkt wird.
  2. Anlage nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Erfassungsmittel dazu eingerichtet ist, die Abmessungen aus mindestens einem digitalen Bild des Gegenstands zu erfassen.
  3. Anlage nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Gegenstände Postsendungen sind.
  4. Anlage nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Verarbeitungsmodul ein Sortiermodul mit Sortierausgängen (S) ist.
  5. Verfahren zur Verarbeitung von Postsendungen in einer Anlage nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es die folgenden Schritte umfasst:
    - Erfassen, für eine aktuelle Postsendung, von Abmessungen dieser Postsendung und Übersetzen dieser Abmessungen in einen Schätzwert des Gewichts dieser Sendung,
    - Erkennen eines Portonennwert, der auf diese Sendung geklebt ist, mittels OCR aus einem digitalen Bild dieser Postsendung, und
    a) wenn der Portonennwert mit dem Schätzwert des Gewichts für diese Sendung vereinbar ist, Steuern des Förderers dahingehend, diese Sendung durch den Umleitungsabschnitt in Richtung des Verarbeitungsmoduls zu lenken,
    b) wenn der Portonennwert mit dem Schätzwert des Gewichts für diese Sendung nicht vereinbar ist, Steuern des Förderers dahingehend, diese Sendung durch das dynamische Wägemodul in Richtung des Verarbeitungsmoduls zu lenken.
