Auf diese Weise kann die Moppresse 16 an geeigneter Stelle wie z.B. an einem Reinigungswagen angebracht werden, wobei für die Befestigung des Auffanggefäßes 16 am Reinigungswagen eine beliebige, dem Fachmann bekannte Befestigungsalternative gewählt werden kann wie z.B. vom oberen Rand 66 nach unten vorstehende, vertikal angeordnete Einschublaschen, die in entsprechend geformte Taschen am Reinigungswagen im Rahmen einer vertikalen Einschubbewegung eingeführt werden können. Die erfindungsgemäße Auspressvorrichtung sowie Moppresse sind besonders kompakt aufgebaut und die Moppresse lässt sich an ihrer Rückseite bündig an einem Reinigungswagen befestigten, da hierdurch der Schwenkbereich des Hebels nicht behindert wird. Der Betrieb der Auspressvorrichtung ist einfach, da mit einer einzigen Bewegung die Auspressvorrichtung geschlossen und mit einer Bewegung in umgekehrter Schwenkrichtung diese wieder geöffnet werden kann. Zudem kann ohne das Aufwenden von Kraft die Auspressvorrichtung in der geschlossenen Position gehalten werden, da ein Kniehebelmechanismus eingesetzt werden, der in der geschlossenen Position über seinen Totpunkt hinaus bewegt wurde. Claims (15)

  1. Device for squeezing liquid-absorbing wiping bodies comprising:
    - a first, essentially plate-like pressing jaw (18), and a second, essentially plate-like pressing jaw (20) which are connected to one another via a hinge (40) in the region of their particular first end; and
    - a pressing lever (32) which is connected to the second pressing jaw (20) in hinged manner via a first bearing (42) with the second pressing jaw (20) in the region of the second end of the second pressing jaw (20); wherein
    - the first pressing jaw (18) is arranged to be fixed relative to the device for squeezing (10); and
    - the pressing lever (32) comprises a knee lever section (48) between the first
    bearing (42) and a second bearing (50) arranged to be fixed on the lever;
    characterised in that
    - a knee lever element (52), which forms a rigid connection between the second bearing (50) and a third bearing (54) in the region of the second end of the first pressing jaw (18), is attached to the second bearing (50).
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the pressing lever (32) can be moved between an opened position with first (18) and second pressing jaws (20) arranged to be V-shaped with respect to one another and a closed position with first (18) and second pressing jaw (20) arranged essentially parallel to one another.
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterised in that in the closed position, a knee lever mechanism (46) consisting of the knee lever section (48) and the knee lever element (52) is located in the top dead-centre position.
  4. Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the first bearing (42) extends over the entire width of the second pressing jaw (20) and a second knee lever mechanism (44) is attached to the first bearing (42) to be rigid to torsion relative to the pressing lever (32) on the side of the second pressing jaw (20) opposite the pressing lever (32), wherein the second knee lever mechanism (44) comprises two lever elements connected to one another in hinged manner and is attached to the first pressing jaw (18) to be rotatable.
  5. Device according to claim 3, characterised in that a stop element (38), which can be adjusted if required to an operative position in which the movement of the pressing lever (32) into the closed position is limited before reaching the dead centre of the knee lever mechanism (46), is arranged on the pressing lever (32).
  6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the pressing jaws (18, 20) have numerous passage openings (22), preferably passage slots, for the passage of cleaning liquid.
  7. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the pressing jaws (18, 20) have reinforcing ribs (24) which run essentially vertically in the operating position of the device.
  8. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first pressing jaw (18) is connected to be integral with at least one side wall (26) which has a guide surface (30) for the pressing lever, preferably in the region of the first bearing (42).
  9. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the knee lever mechanism is designed so that the elements, which can be pivoted relative to one another, largely overlap.
  10. Mop press comprising a device for squeezing (10) according to one of the preceding claims and a collection container (16), to which the device for squeezing (10) can be attached.
  11. Mop press according to claim 10, characterised in that the pressing jaws (18, 20) extend essentially over the entire width of the collection container (16).
  12. Mop press according to claim 10 or 11, characterised in that the collection container (16) has a base (62) and side walls (64) connected to be integral with the base and the side walls (64) on the side opposite the base (62) have a reinforced upper edge (66),
    on which the device for squeezing (10) rests with correspondingly shaped support sections (28).
  13. Mop press according to one of claims 10 to 12, further comprising a positive connection (70) between the collection container (16) and the device for squeezing (10), preferably resilient elements in the region of the support sections (28) of the device for squeezing (10) which produce a clip connection with the reinforced upper edge (66) of the collection container (16).
  14. Mop press according to one of claims 10 to 13, characterised in that the pressing lever (32) is shaped and arranged so that the pressing lever (32) in the opened position of the device for squeezing (10) does not extend over the vertical plane (E) adjacent the side wall of the mop press (60) close to the first pressing jaw (18).
  15. Mop press according to one of claims 10 to 14, characterised in that it has a suitable attachment device for fixing the mop press (16) to a cleaning trolley.
