- the tie-rod 14 can be provided with an integral stop head 22. The head might not be present; in this case, the tie-rod 14 would just have the function of positioning without participating in arrest of the door.
- the tie-rod 14 has two sliding surfaces 24 opposite to one another, formed along which are two retention seats 26, 28 corresponding, respectively, to positions of door partially open and door completely open. On the sliding surfaces 24 there may or may not be present a layer of lubricant applied by means of greasing.
- the tie-rod 14 has two thickened areas 30 set on opposite sides of the retention seat 26.
- the thickened areas 30 are equipped with cavities 32 that enable an elastic deformation of the sliding surfaces 24 in said thickened areas 30.

- the retention elements 42 have rounded outer surfaces that are designed to slide on the opposite sliding surfaces 24 of the tie-rod 14. In conditions of rest the distance between the superposed faces of the retention elements 42 is equal to or less than the minimum thickness of the tie-rod 14. When the tie-rod 14 is inserted into the through opening 40, the retention elements 42 are pressed against the sliding surfaces 24 of the tie-rod 14 with an elastic force due in part to the elastic deformation of the connection portions 44 of the supporting frame 12 and in part to the elastic deformation of the thickened portions 30 of the tie-rod 14, formed in which are the cavities 32.
- the elastic force that pushes the retention elements 42 against the sliding surfaces 24 is determined by sizing of the cavities 46 and 32 and the thicknesses of the connection portions 44 and of the thickened portions 30.
- the elastic behaviour of the material constituting the supporting frame 12 and the tie-rod 14 intrinsically supplies the elastic force that serves to push the retention elements 42 elastically against the sliding surfaces 24, without the need for auxiliary elastic components.
- the supporting frame 12 has a front surface 48, upon which the head 22 of the tie-rod 14 comes to bear in the position of door completely open.
- the damping elements 34 provided on the head 22 dampen the impact of the head 22 against the supporting frame 12 in the case where the door is swung open, and enable damping of the impact of the head 22 against the supporting frame 12.
- the door-stop device according to the present invention is made up of just three components: the supporting frame 12, the tie-rod 14, and the support 16. Said components are assembled in a simple and fast way.
- the device according to the present invention avoids the operations necessary for assembly of retention elements and elastic elements as components separate from the supporting frame 12.
