Definitions
- the invention relates to a box, in particular a folding box according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a box in particular a folding box according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such boxes with a preferably cuboid box body are known as reclosable Umpackungen for example for drugs, cosmetics or any other content for a long time and in use.
- the side tabs which can be knocked into the opening serve on the one hand to ensure the stability of the box and, on the other hand, also to protect against the ingress of contaminants into the box.
- a problem with such conventional boxes is the warranty function, that is, displaying a first opening of the lid.
- warranty systems are already known in which, for example, for breaking the cover for the first time a predetermined breaking point broken or a guarantee strip must be demolished.
- a simple variant of a warranty function for example, is that a seal is glued over the closed lid, which must be broken to open the lid. In all these cases, however, additional gluing operations are required which complicate and increase the cost of making the box.
- the warranty systems are often not easy for the consumer to handle. It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a box of the type mentioned, in which the initial opening is displayed in a simple manner, without the lid must be glued or sealed.
- the pivotally hinged on the cover guarantee tongue is thereby pressed from the plane of the lid through the retaining opening in the side flap into a retaining position. This is easily possible by machine after filling and closing the box.
- This anchoring principle exploits the fact that an anchoring element - as here the guarantee tongue - can only be passed through an opening in a certain relative position. This principle is also known, for example, in Gürtelschliessen. To open the lid for the first time only a slightly greater force is required to overcome the resistance of the predetermined breaking point. Subsequently, the box can be closed and opened as often as desired.
- the guarantee tongue is advantageously cut directly from the material of the lid. There are no additional material costs and cutting operations on the blank are usually required anyway. In certain cases, it would also be conceivable to attach a separate guarantee tongue on the lid.
- the guarantee tongue is advantageously articulated on a particular perforated predetermined breaking line on the lid.
- the predetermined breaking line simultaneously forms the joint fold.
- the predetermined breaking point could, however, in certain cases also be arranged at a different location.
- the guarantee tongue is advantageously arranged on one side of the lid such that a side edge of the guarantee tongue coincides with a side edge of the lid. In this way, the surface of the lid after tearing off the guarantee tongue is only marginally reduced. It can be seen, however, that it is also advantageous for the underlying retention opening to lie in an edge zone of the box, because overall this facilitates the deformation of the guarantee tongue into the retention position on account of the box rigidity. Depending on the configuration of the box, however, the guarantee tongue could also be arranged at another point on the lid.
- a guarantee tongue is arranged on two opposite sides of the lid. This ensures that the lid can not be lifted on one side without tearing the predetermined breaking point.
- a certain symmetry in the anchoring of the lid is ge pressrleitstet. For smaller lids, for example, on the front side of a cuboid box, but only a single guarantee tongue could be sufficient.
- a trapezoidal guarantee tongue has proven to be particularly advantageous. This is hinged to the shorter parallel side of the trapezoid on the lid. The longer parallel side of the trapezoid can be used to achieve a good anchoring effect.
- the guarantee tongue in the context of the inventive solution but also have other contours.
- the outer contour of the guarantee tongue can be identical to the outer contour of the retention opening, but this is not absolutely necessary. So would be other pairings of outdoor configurations conceivable, with which a good anchoring effect can be achieved in the retention position.
- the retaining opening is cut out of the side flap in such a way that a hinge section hinged to the side flap remains in the retaining opening, which can be pressed in together with the guarantee tongue.
- This has the advantage that no material waste remains when cutting or punching out the retaining opening.
- the hinge section under the guarantee tongue protects the predetermined breaking point, so that it does not break prematurely when manipulated on the box.
- the visible after the tearing of the guarantee tongue joint portion can also fulfill a warranty function by making the first-time opening of the package better visible. This effect could be enhanced by a corresponding signal color.
- the hinge section protects after the first opening from the ingress of contaminants in the packaging.
- a side flap is arranged on opposite sides of the box opening and if the lid has two guarantee tongues, each of which cooperates with a retaining opening in each side flap.
- the side flaps are advantageously dimensioned so that they partially overlap in the folded state.
- the box may also have two openings, each of which is closed in the same way with a lid. The consumer is free to decide on which side he opens the box.
- the lid may be hinged to a side wall and having a Einsteckzunge. This ensures that the lid remains in a closed position even after the first opening.
- the guarantee system according to the invention would, however, also be conceivable in principle for other types of lids, such as on a slip-on lid.
- the carton may be a folding carton made from a single blank of material made by folding and gluing operations. Even more complicated boxes of several blanks would be conceivable.
- the box may consist of cardboard or a cardboard laminate. Also plastic material or metal would be conceivable. It is only important that the guarantee tongue is so depressible that it remains in the retention position.
- the guarantee tongue in certain cases it would also be conceivable for the guarantee tongue to be lockable in the retention position by a locking tab associated with the side flap and / or a side wall. With such a locking tab can be prevented that the guarantee tongue due to material conditional return properties returns to the level of the lid, whereby the warranty function would be repealed.
- the locking tab could also be cut out of the side flap like the hinge section described above. However, it must be hinged to a side wall of the box or on a side wall of the retaining opening such that it initially pivots when pressing the guarantee tongue beyond the retention position and then overlaps the guarantee tongue.
- the blank As in FIG. 1 14, the blank, generally designated 14, has various discrete portions which form the side walls, the side flaps and the lids of the carton.
- the individual sections are delimited by grooves 16 from each other. These later form the fold lines when erecting the box.
- the box consists of the four side walls 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d, wherein on the side wall 4a, an adhesive flap 13 is arranged.
- the box is provided with two lids 2a and 2b, but which are arranged on the side walls 4c and 4a, that they are hinged to the erected box on diametrically opposite sides.
- Each lid is provided with an insertion tongue 12a and 12b.
- the side flaps 5a, 5a 'and 5b, 5b' are arranged on the side walls 4b and 4d.
- the guarantee tongues 6 on the two lids are trapezoidal in shape, wherein the sloping sides of the trapezoid are delimited by the cutting lines 15. Cut lines still partially extend on both sides of the insertion lids 12a and 12b. The shorter parallel side of each trapezoid is formed by a perforation line 17.
- joint portions 11 are cut out at the side flaps, which, however, also remain connected via a grooving 16 with the side flap. These joint sections later form the retaining opening 7. This is also apparent trapezoidal, according to the guarantee tongues. 6
- the material blank 14 according to FIG. 1 is erected in a known manner to a cuboid box 1 and glued, as shown in the FIGS. 2 to 4 is shown.
- the adhesive flap 13 is glued to the side wall 4d.
- the lid 2b is already inserted and actually forms the bottom of the Box.
- the lid 2a is pivoted open and also the two side flaps 5a and 5a 'are unfolded, so that the opening 3 of the box (FIG. FIG. 4 ) is free.
- the two side flaps 5 a and 5 a ' are folded into the opening 3.
- the side flaps partially overlap and in many cases are supported from below by the contents of the package.
- This liner is in FIG. 5 shown.
- the guarantee tongues 6 on both sides of the lid 2a are still in the plane of the lid.
- the hinge portions 11 are still in the side flaps in the plane of the side flaps.
- Last is according to FIG. 6 the plug-in cover 2a closed.
- a force P must be exerted on the two guarantee tongues 6 or the joint sections 11 below them, until the guarantee tongues are in the retention position.
- the retaining tongue has a maximum width b, which also corresponds to the width of the underlying retaining opening 7.
- the outer corners 18 of the guarantee tongue 6 are now in the retaining position RP below the underlying side flap or outside the retaining opening 7. Pivoting the lid 2a in this position thus causes the guarantee tongue 6 wedged in the retaining opening 7, so that the Tear line 8 tears last.
- the trapezoidal shape of the guarantee tongue 6 still favors this anchoring effect.
- 6 max. an extreme position of the guarantee tongue 6 is shown in dash-dotted lines, in which it is swung out by 90 ° from the plane of the lid 2a.
- FIG. 9 an alternative embodiment of a guarantee tongue 6 is shown, which has an approximately mushroom-shaped outer configuration.
- the underlying retaining opening 7 has the same configuration. Pressing the guarantee tongue 6 into the retaining position RP similarly anchors the outer corners 18 in the retaining opening 7.
- the guarantee tongue 6 is not hinged over the rupture line 8 on the cover 2a, but similar to the hinge portions 11 via a groove 16.
- the desired tear line is arranged at a distance from this groove. This could for example also run obliquely to the scoring 16 to support the tear effect.
- FIG. 10 is shown a further variant, in which, however, in contrast to the embodiment according to FIG. 7 the joint section is missing.
- a locking tab 19 which is also cut out of the material of the side flap 5a ', but which is hinged to the side wall 4b.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a box, in particular a folding box according to the preamble of claim 1. Such boxes with a preferably cuboid box body are known as reclosable Umpackungen for example for drugs, cosmetics or any other content for a long time and in use. The side tabs which can be knocked into the opening serve on the one hand to ensure the stability of the box and, on the other hand, also to protect against the ingress of contaminants into the box.
A problem with such conventional boxes is the warranty function, that is, displaying a first opening of the lid. Although many warranty systems are already known in which, for example, for breaking the cover for the first time a predetermined breaking point broken or a guarantee strip must be demolished. A simple variant of a warranty function, for example, is that a seal is glued over the closed lid, which must be broken to open the lid. In all these cases, however, additional gluing operations are required which complicate and increase the cost of making the box. In addition, the warranty systems are often not easy for the consumer to handle. It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a box of the type mentioned, in which the initial opening is displayed in a simple manner, without the lid must be glued or sealed. The erection and filling of the box should be as simple as possible. In addition, no additional components are required for the production of the box and the consumer should open the box in the usual way can. This object is achieved according to the invention with a box, which has the features in claim 1.
The pivotally hinged on the cover guarantee tongue is thereby pressed from the plane of the lid through the retaining opening in the side flap into a retaining position. This is easily possible by machine after filling and closing the box. By configuring the outer contour of the guarantee tongue on the one hand and the retaining opening on the other hand ensures that a lifting or pivoting the lid is not possible without tearing the predetermined breaking point when the guarantee tongue is in the retention position. This anchoring principle exploits the fact that an anchoring element - as here the guarantee tongue - can only be passed through an opening in a certain relative position. This principle is also known, for example, in Gürtelschliessen. To open the lid for the first time only a slightly greater force is required to overcome the resistance of the predetermined breaking point. Subsequently, the box can be closed and opened as often as desired.
The guarantee tongue is advantageously cut directly from the material of the lid. There are no additional material costs and cutting operations on the blank are usually required anyway. In certain cases, it would also be conceivable to attach a separate guarantee tongue on the lid. The guarantee tongue is advantageously articulated on a particular perforated predetermined breaking line on the lid. The predetermined breaking line simultaneously forms the joint fold. The predetermined breaking point could, however, in certain cases also be arranged at a different location.
The guarantee tongue is advantageously arranged on one side of the lid such that a side edge of the guarantee tongue coincides with a side edge of the lid.
Particularly advantageously, a guarantee tongue is arranged on two opposite sides of the lid. This ensures that the lid can not be lifted on one side without tearing the predetermined breaking point. In addition, a certain symmetry in the anchoring of the lid is gewährleitstet. For smaller lids, for example, on the front side of a cuboid box, but only a single guarantee tongue could be sufficient.
A trapezoidal guarantee tongue has proven to be particularly advantageous. This is hinged to the shorter parallel side of the trapezoid on the lid. The longer parallel side of the trapezoid can be used to achieve a good anchoring effect. Of course, the guarantee tongue in the context of the inventive solution but also have other contours.
The outer contour of the guarantee tongue can be identical to the outer contour of the retention opening, but this is not absolutely necessary. So would be other pairings of outdoor configurations conceivable, with which a good anchoring effect can be achieved in the retention position.
Further advantages can be achieved if the retaining opening is cut out of the side flap in such a way that a hinge section hinged to the side flap remains in the retaining opening, which can be pressed in together with the guarantee tongue. This has the advantage that no material waste remains when cutting or punching out the retaining opening. In addition, the hinge section under the guarantee tongue protects the predetermined breaking point, so that it does not break prematurely when manipulated on the box. Finally, the visible after the tearing of the guarantee tongue joint portion can also fulfill a warranty function by making the first-time opening of the package better visible. This effect could be enhanced by a corresponding signal color. Of course, the hinge section protects after the first opening from the ingress of contaminants in the packaging.
In most cases, it is advantageous if a side flap is arranged on opposite sides of the box opening and if the lid has two guarantee tongues, each of which cooperates with a retaining opening in each side flap. The side flaps are advantageously dimensioned so that they partially overlap in the folded state. Of course, the box may also have two openings, each of which is closed in the same way with a lid. The consumer is free to decide on which side he opens the box.
The lid may be hinged to a side wall and having a Einsteckzunge. This ensures that the lid remains in a closed position even after the first opening. The guarantee system according to the invention would, however, also be conceivable in principle for other types of lids, such as on a slip-on lid.
The carton may be a folding carton made from a single blank of material made by folding and gluing operations. Even more complicated boxes of several blanks would be conceivable. The box may consist of cardboard or a cardboard laminate. Also plastic material or metal would be conceivable. It is only important that the guarantee tongue is so depressible that it remains in the retention position.
In certain cases it would also be conceivable for the guarantee tongue to be lockable in the retention position by a locking tab associated with the side flap and / or a side wall. With such a locking tab can be prevented that the guarantee tongue due to material conditional return properties returns to the level of the lid, whereby the warranty function would be repealed. The locking tab could also be cut out of the side flap like the hinge section described above. However, it must be hinged to a side wall of the box or on a side wall of the retaining opening such that it initially pivots when pressing the guarantee tongue beyond the retention position and then overlaps the guarantee tongue.
