  • the present invention relates to housing members for use in burners, and more particularly to housing members for use in burners that mix air or oxygen with a gaseous or evaporated fuel.
  • Burners that use gaseous fuel or liquid fuel are used in many applications including boilers, line healers, furnaces, other gas fired appliances, and Ln many others. Basically, these burners introduce a gaseous fuel or liquid fuel into a stream of air or oxygen. If liquid fuel is used, it must be vapourized or atomized first. The resulting flow of fuel and air or oxygen is ignited and exits the nozzle of the burner either as a visible flame or as a stream of an extremely hot gaseous mixture.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un élément de logement arrière de régulation du débit d'oxygène destiné à être utilisé dans un brûleur, ledit élément comprenant une partie de corps principale pourvue d'une première entrée d'oxygène. Une chambre de collecte d'oxygène annulaire est en communication fluidique avec la première entrée d'oxygène. Une première voie de passage de débit d'oxygène s'étend entre la chambre de collecte d'oxygène annulaire et la chambre de mélange du débit d'oxygène annulaire, et présente une première hauteur qui constitue une partie de la hauteur de la paroi annulaire. Une seconde voie de passage du débit d'oxygène s'étend entre la chambre de collecte d'oxygène annulaire et la chambre de mélange du débit d'oxygène annulaire, et présente une seconde hauteur qui constitue une partie de la hauteur de la paroi annulaire. La hauteur de la première voie de passage du débit d'oxygène est supérieure à la hauteur de la seconde voie de passage du débit d'oxygène.
