Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schutzelement für Radfahrerhosen, welches einen vorderen und einen hinteren Schutzbereich aufweist, die durch eine Verjüngung miteinander verbunden sind, wobei die Schutzbereiche und die Verjüngung jeweils eine Oberfläche habenThe invention relates to a protective element for cyclists pants, which has a front and a rear protection area, which are connected by a taper with each other, wherein the protection areas and the taper each have a surface
For the purposes of the present invention, cycling pants are understood to mean not only trousers, but also racing dresses for men and women for cycling, which also include a top. Such pants and dresses are used by both professional and non-professional cyclists in both road and track cycling as well as mountain biking. They serve to protect the body from prolonged sitting on the narrow racing saddle of a sports bicycle. Due to the narrow saddle, the body parts directly in contact with the saddle are subject to the highest local stresses, which can lead to severe injuries of the affected body parts, as far as no protective measures are taken. To protect against such injuries special cycling pants are known to the on Highly stressed areas are provided with protective pads to protect the highly stressed body parts against pressure and friction.
In order to provide such protection against pressure and friction, it is known to sew or glue protective elements in cyclist pants or race suits made for cyclists. For this purpose, find seat cushions application, which are arranged in the area of the step of the pants. The upholstery can be made of upholstered natural leather or upholstered imitation leather; the use of gel pads is also known.
The known protective elements have a Reibmindernde and smooth surface. In order to achieve an additional friction reduction, it is customary to grease the protective elements made of natural leather before use. For upholstered fabrics, friction-reducing textiles are used. The protection elements have in common that they have a very smooth surface in order to minimize the friction between the pad and the skin of the user.
However, the protective elements used so far have the following disadvantage: When riding a bicycle it comes to perspiration because of the increased physical stress. This sweating also occurs in the field of protective elements in cycling pants. The moisture present in the form of perspiration results in softening of the cyclist's skin, as is generally the case when the skin is in contact with moisture. By softening the skin, the mechanical resilience of the skin is reduced. As a result, the risk of injury to the skin is increased by friction, which reduces performance.
Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen.
With the invention, a protective element for cyclist pants is provided according to claim 1, which allows a Schweißabfuhr and thus contributes to a lower load on the skin by moisture. As a result, the mechanical resilience of the skin is less reduced, so that the risk of injury due to friction is significantly reduced. The provision of a three-dimensional structure as a surface for protective elements for cyclist pants is in contrast to the previous solutions, which proceed from the theory that a smooth as possible, so two-dimensional surface is best suited for protective elements, since due to the smooth surface, the friction on a low level. However, it is disregarded that the moisture has no way to escape, so that due to the constant stress on the skin by the accumulating moisture, a softening of the skin. Due to the permanent influence of moisture on the skin its mechanical load capacity decreases continuously, so that the probability of injuries due to friction is high. The use of fats in leather upholstery enhances this effect, as the grease can cause the pores to close so that air circulation is completely prevented.
In a further development of the invention, the structure is made of a knitted fabric. This type of production allows a largely free design of the three-dimensional shape. As a result of the different design of the knitted fabric, different structures can be produced which have different properties. In addition, the knitted fabric has a high elasticity, which contributes to an optimal adaptation of the protective element to the movements and the body.
In the structure pockets and / or niches are formed. The pockets and / or niches allow the perspiration to be absorbed. At the same time the pockets or niches are filled with air, so that by absorbing the moisture in the air-filled pockets and niches takes place a recording of the sweat through the air, which has an evaporation result. This is a removal of moisture from the heavily loaded area allows.
In another embodiment of the invention air channels are provided in the structure. The air channels also help dissipate moisture from the areas that are particularly prone to sweat, which further reduces the burden on the skin of moisture.

In the case of the protective element according to the invention, the three-dimensional structure, with its
In addition, the
In addition to the embodiment, it is also possible to provide in the structure - not shown - air ducts that allow further air supply and - removal.
