  • the flip assembly may be opened and the intermediate assembly may be slid to reveal touch-sensitive input device (and possibly triggering a transition to a multimedia mode), whereby touch-sensitive device 36 functions as the main display and touch-sensitive devices 32 and 34 (as well as any touch-sensitive input device within the auxiliary area 30) are configured as touch-sensitive control interfaces.

Claims (14)

  1. Dispositif de communication portatif (10) comprenant :
    un ensemble de base (14) ;
    un ensemble de volet (16) couplé à l'ensemble de base (14), si bien que l'ensemble de volet (16) peut pivoter par rapport à l'ensemble de base (14) ;
    un ensemble intermédiaire (18) couplé en service à l'ensemble de base (14) et à l'ensemble de volet (16) par un ensemble de charnière coulissante double (12) ;
    caractérisé en ce que :
    l'ensemble de charnière coulissante double (12) est configuré de manière que l'ensemble intermédiaire (18) puisse coulisser par rapport à l'ensemble de base (14) et à l'ensemble de volet (16) dans une première direction et dans une deuxième direction, perpendiculaire à la première direction.
  2. Dispositif de communication portatif selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'ensemble de charnière coulissante double est en outre configuré de manière que l'ensemble intermédiaire puisse pivoter par rapport à l'ensemble de base.
  3. Dispositif de communication portatif selon la revendication 1 ou la revendication 2, dans lequel l'ensemble de charnière coulissante double est en outre configuré de manière que l'ensemble intermédiaire puisse pivoter par rapport à l'ensemble de base lorsque l'ensemble intermédiaire a coulissé dans la deuxième direction.
  4. Dispositif de communication portatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel l'ensemble de charnière coulissante double comprend une première plaque de charnière couplée à une deuxième plaque de charnière et configurée pour effectuer un mouvement de coulissement entre la deuxième plaque de charnière et la première plaque de charnière dans la première direction.
  5. Dispositif de communication portatif selon la revendication 4, dans lequel l'ensemble de charnière coulissante double comprend une troisième plaque de charnière couplée à la deuxième plaque de charnière et configurée pour effectuer un mouvement de coulissement entre la troisième plaque de charnière et la deuxième plaque de charnière dans une deuxième direction, perpendiculaire à la première direction.
  6. Dispositif de communication portatif selon la revendication 5, dans lequel l'ensemble de charnière coulissante double comprend une quatrième charnière couplée à la troisième charnière et configurée pour effectuer un mouvement de rotation entre la quatrième plaque de charnière et la troisième plaque de charnière.
  7. Dispositif de communication portatif selon la revendication 6, dans lequel la quatrième plaque de charnière est couplée à la troisième plaque de charnière par une charnière à ressort.
  8. Dispositif de communication portatif selon la revendication 6, dans lequel la quatrième plaque de charnière peut pivoter sur un angle maximal d'environ 90 degrés.
  9. Dispositif de communication portatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, dans lequel l'ensemble intermédiaire comprend au moins un écran d'affichage.
  10. Dispositif de communication portatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, dans lequel l'ensemble intermédiaire comprend un dispositif d'entrée tactile qui est dégagé lorsqu'une partie de l'ensemble intermédiaire a coulissé dans la deuxième direction.
  11. Dispositif de communication portatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 10, dans lequel l'ensemble de base et l'ensemble de volet comprennent tous deux un dispositif d'entrée tactile et dans lequel chacun des dispositifs d'entrée tactiles est un écran d'affichage tactile.
  12. Dispositif de communication portatif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 11, dans lequel le dispositif de communication portatif est un téléphone mobile.
  13. Ensemble de charnière coulissante double (12) destiné à être utilisé avec un dispositif de communication portatif (10), l'ensemble de charnière coulissante double (12) comprenant :
    une première plaque de charnière (40) couplée à une deuxième plaque de charnière (42) et configurée pour effectuer un mouvement de coulissement entre la deuxième plaque de charnière (42) et la première plaque de charnière (40) dans une première direction ;
    une troisième plaque de charnière (44) couplée à la deuxième plaque de charnière (42) et configurée pour effectuer un mouvement de coulissement entre la troisième plaque de charnière (44) et la deuxième plaque de charnière (42) dans une deuxième direction, perpendiculaire à la première direction ; et
    une quatrième plaque de charnière (46) couplée à la troisième plaque de charnière (44) et configurée pour effectuer un mouvement de rotation entre la quatrième plaque de charnière (46) et la troisième plaque de charnière (44).
  14. Ensemble de charnière coulissante double selon la revendication 13, dans lequel l'ensemble de charnière coulissante double est configuré pour faciliter la rotation de la quatrième plaque de charnière sur environ 90 degrés par rapport à la troisième plaque de charnière.
