Adults can easily perform perforation process of capsule, but children and elderly may not be able to apply enough force. As a result, the needles cannot perforate the capsule sufficiently; and adequate drug dose fails to reach to pulmonary region.

- the only essential step during usage of this device is not to forget to load the capsule. Once the capsule is loaded to the device, inhalation cannot be done until the inhalation shaft is closed. Once inhalation shaft is closed, needles get in and out of capsule and the device is made ready for inhalation by patients.

- the top cover is opened in order to load the capsule.
- Inhalation shaft is uplifted, until the capsule chamber can be seen.
- Drug capsule loaded into the capsule chamber.
- two toothed tracks that are present on the inhalation shaft, drive the toothed rod. Toothed rod pushes needle and spring holder in order to pierce the capsule.
- the toothed rod disengages as the inhalation shaft is completely closed. Releasing of the spring at the opposite direction removes the needle and the spring holder back, sets up the mechanism and makes the dry powder drug ready for inhalation.
- inhalation shaft is opened and simultaneously, system starts to work again. Needles get in and out of empty capsule once again. This process dislodges empty capsule. Empty capsule is taken easily from chamber and discharged.
- the device having the mechanism according to the invention is preferably used for inhalation of drugs such as beta-2agonists, corticosteroids, anti-cholinergic agents, antimuscarinics, antiallergics and antibiotics, for the treatment of pulmonary diseases or local treatment of pulmonary diseases like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases.
