Description

The invention relates to a method for the production of packaging according to claim 1 and to a packaging for storing food according to claim 6.

Such packaging has been known and successfully used for decades. For example, Uncle Ben's uses pouches made of films filled with rice. These bags are stored in a cardboard box to protect the rice from moisture. In order to cook the rice filled in the foil bag in a warm water bath for human consumption, the individual perforated bags are to be taken out of this after the cardboard box has been torn open.

A disadvantage of such packaging has been found that the package is first to open to remove one or more inserted in this bag can. In addition, after heating the rice in a hot water bath, the bag should be ruptured. However, this is cumbersome to handle after the heating process, because the heated rice grains radiate the heat absorbed, so that the bag can not be touched with the bare hand.

In addition, this type of packaging is not suitable for packaging oxygen-sensitive foods with fumigation, since the protective gas atmosphere from the openings would escape in the cooking bags and the outer cardboard packaging in turn is no barrier to gases.

Furthermore, it is known to sterilize or pasteurize foods to be preserved and later on by the end user, e.g. To be heated in a water bath, to be filled in cans or plastic bags, which withstand such a treatment and reliably protect the filled food from the environment.

In the handling of such packaging has been found to be disadvantageous that the packaging must be opened and the filled food, such as sausages, must be individually filled in a hot water bath for heating. After the sausages are cooked, they swim in the warm water bath, so they have to be removed from the water bath. In particular, in larger food stalls has been found that such handling is extremely unhygienic, because a variety of people often grab with his bare hand in the hot water bath to extract the individual sausages. By such contact bacteria and viruses are transmitted which can lead to damage to health or impairment in the consumption of sausages.

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a method for the production of packaging and packaging of the type mentioned by the one hand, the filled into the packaging food is reliably protected from spoilage by oxygen and unhygienic contaminants during storage and during use and the other at the same time either allow easy removal of the food for cold consumption or hygienic hot preparation in the package with subsequent easy handling of the heated food.

These objects are achieved by the features of claims 1 and 6.

Further advantageous developments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.

The fact that the inner bag is firmly connected to the inside of the outer bag by means of a connecting sealing seam, the inner bag is reliably enclosed by the outer bag to the outside, so that the stored food due to the material layer structure of the outer bag from contamination with bacteria, Viruses or other pollutants are protected. A gassing of the entire bag contents with inert gas atmosphere is possible. In addition, the outer bag can be separated from the inner bag in a simple and uncomplicated way, namely by the arranged below the connecting seam perforation in the wall of the outer bag is torn so that the inner bag and thus the food stored there in a Hot water bath or in a microwave for heating can be introduced.

If the food is consumed without heating, the upper perforation of the outer bag may be torn so that the unlocked inner bag is freely accessible or one or the other sealing seam which interconnects the sides of the inner bag is peelable or only punctiform trained so that it can be torn open.

To facilitate the opening of the inner bag, especially when subjected to a heating process, for the user and to prevent burns, a tab is attached to one of the outer walls of the inner bag, in which a handle opening or eyelet is incorporated. Consequently, the user may, for example, by means of a finger, engage in the eyelet and actuate the tab which is fixedly connected to the wall of the inner bag to separate it from the inner bag.

FIG. 4
A second embodiment of a package, which after the procedure of the FIGS. 1 and 2a is made, on average.

In FIG. 1 schematically shows how a package 1 is made of a film web 3a for receiving food 2. The film web 3a is wound on a roll 4 and can be unwound from this if necessary. The film web 3a consists of at least two and at most six different material layers. In this case, at least the inner and the outer boundary of the bag 11 forming layers of polyolefins, their copolymers or a blend of polyolefins and their copolymers. The innermost polyolefin layer is peelable. The outermost polyolefin layer has a melting point at least 5 ° C higher than the inner layers.

To form a first bag 11, the film web 3a is unwound from the roll 4 and cut into a single film 5. Subsequently, the film 5 is folded around a folding edge 7, so that a double-layered film 6 is formed. The film 6 is welded at two open end faces by means of a solid sealing seam 8 or a peelable sealing seam 9.

Nach dem Versiegeln der beiden senkrecht zueinander verlaufenden Stirnseiten der Folie 6 entsteht der erste Beutel 11.After sealing the two mutually perpendicular end faces of the film 6, the first bag 11 is formed.

One of the three faces is not closed; This open end is designated by the reference numeral 13. Consequently, through the open end face 13 through a filling device 10, the food 2 can be filled in the form of sausages. It is also conceivable vegetables, such as asparagus, carrot pieces, peas and sauces, pieces of meat or the like. To fill in the bag 11, which result in a compound of several food 2 food. For this purpose, two or more areas within the bag 11 can be produced by means of sealing seams 8 or 9 into which different foodstuffs 2 are filled, which can be brought together in the bag 11 or on a plate for consumption after a cooking or heating process.

In the two opposite walls of the bag 11 openings 12 are incorporated in the form of circles. The cross-sectional shape of the openings 12 may also be elliptical, slit-shaped or polygonal. The diameter or length dimensions of the openings 12 are adapted to the size of the filled food 2 or are not incorporated in liquid foods 2, so that the food 2 from the openings 12 can not slip out. At the same time ensure the size, shape and number of openings good flow through the bag 11 with the inert gas in the fumigation or with water in the preparation of the food 2 in a hot water bath.

In FIG. 2a is now shown that the first bag 11 is closed by means of a peelable sealing seam 9 at the open end face 13 and that this is inserted in a second bag 14. The production of the second bag 14 takes place after in FIG. 1 demonstrated procedure; However, to produce the bag 14, a film web 3b is used, the layer structure is explained below.

The necessary for the production of the second bag 14 film web 3b consists of a least two-ply laminate, wherein at least one of the layers, preferably forming the bag outside, from a tear-oriented, printable Material is formed. The inner layer of the laminate is primarily used for sealing. It consists of at least one layer formed by polyolefins, their copolymers or a blend of polyolefins and their copolymers and may contain further functional layers.

Furthermore, the film web 3b contains at least one gas-tight barrier layer, so that a protective gas atmosphere is built up in the double bag 14 and maintained over the intended shelf-life of the food 2.
This barrier layer is preferably formed as a metallization or glassy coating of the outer layer of the laminate or as a polymeric barrier layer in the inner layer of the laminate. In this case, the barrier layer is formed from the group of polyamides, ethylene vinyl alcohols, polyester terephthalates or their copolymers.

The outer and / or the inner layer of the outer bag 14 is printable to bring out the filled food 2 advertising effective. Furthermore, the operating instructions for handling the packaging 1 and the ingredients of the stored food 2 can be explained there.

The two mutually perpendicular sealing seams 8 are so firmly connected to each other that a rupture along this seal seam 8 should not take place.

After the inner bag 11 is inserted into the outer bag 14, the open end face 15 of the outer bag 14 is closed by means of the solid sealing seam 8. In this case, the fumigation of the bag 14 can be made with a protective gas atmosphere, if the nature of the food 2 requires it. Consequently, the outer bag 14 completely surrounds the inner bag 11 and the food 2 stored in the inner bag 11 is protected from oxygen, moisture and pollutants from the environment by the structure of the bag 14, so that pollutants, bacteria, viruses or the like the food 2 can not get.

Dies vergrößert zudem das Volumen der Verpackung 1.Out FIG. 2b is the finished packaging 1 to remove. The inner bag 11 is inserted in the outer bag 14. To the contours of the packaging 1 To improve aesthetically, a further film 16 is provided both in the inner and in the outer bag 11 or 14, through which a bottom for the respective inner or outer bag 11, 14 is provided. This also increases the volume of the package 1.

In particular the FIG. 3 It can be seen that at the bottom 16 a tab 17 is fixedly mounted, in which an eyelet 18 is incorporated. The eyelet 18 serves for example as a tear-open to separate the bottom 16 of the inner bag 11 and to give the contents of the bag 11 freely accessible.

Furthermore, can FIG. 3 it can be seen that the inner bag 11 is welded to the inside of the outer bag 14 by means of a firm connection sealing seam 20, so that the position of the inner bag 11 with respect to the outer bag 14 is position-oriented and slippage of the inner bag 11 is not possible.

Now, if the user wants to get to the stored in the package 1 food 2, this is first to decide whether the food 2 are consumed cold or warmed up.
If the user decides to eat the food 2 cold, the outer bag 14 can be torn open by means of a perforation seam 19 'incorporated above the connecting seam 20. Between the two free ends of the original film 6, a peelable sealing seam 9 is provided, through which the inner bag 11 is closed in this area. After the upper part of the outer bag 14 has been torn off, the inner bag 11 can be pulled apart in this area so that the foodstuffs 2 introduced into the inner bag 11 are freely accessible.

Should the user decide to cook the stored food 2, for example, in a hot water bath, it is necessary to detach part of the outer bag 14 from the inner bag 11. For this purpose, a perforation 19 "is incorporated below the connecting sealing seam 20 in the wall of the outer bag 14.

The perforations 19 'and 19 "are incorporated, for example, by means of laser beams selectively or as a continuous seam Moreover, the perforations 19' and 19" can extend in a linear or wavy manner or they can be aligned horizontally, vertically or inclined. This essentially depends on which foods 2 are stored by the package 1.

If the outer bag 14 is separated from the inner bag 11 by separating the perforation seam 19 ", it is freely accessible, but a part of the outer bag 14 is still firmly connected to the inner bag 11 via the connecting seam 20 The above-protruding portion of the former outer bag 14 serves as a handling aid for placing the inner bag 11 and the food 2 stored therein in a hot water bath or in a microwave oven the food 2 far away from the retaining pocket of the outer bag 14.

Namely, once the heating operation for the food 2 is completed, the user can take out the inner bag 11 from the hot water bath via the upwardly protruding tab of the outer bag 14. The inner bag 11 can then be opened by pulling on the tab 17, so that the food 2 are freely accessible and do not have to be removed from the hot water bath sporadically. Alternatively, the handling aid can be separated at the perforation seam 19 'and the peelable sealed seam 9 of the inner bag can be opened, as already described for the removal of the rinsing agent 2 in the cold state.

In FIG. 4 It is shown that the inner bag 11 is designed unlocked and without the film 16 forming the bottom. In such an embodiment of the inner bag 11 has been found to be particularly advantageous that the user has either the perforation 19 'tear open to get directly to the filled food 2 or the perforation 19 "ruptures to the outer bag 14 of the Partial separation of the inner bag, so that the stored food 2 can be filled in a hot water bath together with the inner bag 11.

Also, the second bag 14 can be used without further provision for the storage of food 2, which are thus filled between the first and the second bag 11, 14.
