Eine eigene Lagerstange für den Lagerkörper der Transporteur-Übertragungsmechanik kann dann entfallen. Im Stichbereich kann das Gehäuse der Nähmaschine, insbesondere ein Freiarm von dieser, in diesem Falle sehr kompakt ausgeführt sein. Dies ermöglicht es, das Gehäuse der Nähmaschine so zu gestalten, dass auch komplizierte Nähaufgaben in schwer zugänglichen Bereichen von Nähgut gelöst werden können. Über einen gehäuse- bzw. rahmenfesten Sicherungskörper kann der Lagerkörper gegen eine Verlagerung bei einer Verlagerung der Zugstange gesichert sein, so dass die Transporteur-Übertragungsmechanik bei einer Betätigung der Fadenabschneidemesser-Übertragungsmechanik stationär bleibt.
