Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Verpacken von Produkten, insbesondere von feuchten Produkten, bei dem ein flächiges Verpackungsmaterial unter Ausbildung von Faltlinien derart an den Außenflächen eines Produktes positioniert wird, dass dieses vom Verpackungsmaterial vollständig umschlossen ist, wobei das Verpackungsmaterial zunächst angrenzend an einen Unterseitenbereich derart unter Ausbildung von Seiten-und Stirnflächenbereichen gefaltet wird, dass ein einseitig offenes Behältnis entsteht, wobei Abschnitte des Verpackungsmaterials, die im Bereich einander gegenüberliegender Produkt-Seitenflächen über den Rand des einseitig offenen Behältnisses überstehen, unter Bedeckung der Produkt-Oberseite des Produktes so weit aufeinander zu gefaltet werden, bis sie sich berühren, um dann in einem ersten Siegelbereich miteinander versiegelt zu werden, und wobei in einem zweiten und dritten Siegelbereich Abschnitte des Verpackungsmaterials, die im Bereich einander gegenüberliegender Stirnflächenbereiche vom Produkt nach außen abstehen, mit solchen Bereichen des Verpackungsmaterials versiegelt werden, die vom Oberseitenbereich und von den Seitenflächenbereichen des Verpackungsmaterials vom Produkt nach außen abstehen
