  • washing and washing/drying machines are normally fitted with a safety device which will keep the load door of the machine locked if the temperature within the tub is high, e.g. due to the presence of residual steam.
  • the washing or washing/drying machine is provided with means for accelerating the discharge of the steam externally; said means may, for example, comprise a fan specially operated for this purpose, or an additional door preferably located on the rear side of the machine, which opens at the end of the steam cycle.

Claims (15)

  1. Verfahren zum Behandeln von in eine Waschmaschine oder eine Wasch-/Trocknungsmaschine oder einen Wäschetrockner geladener Wäsche,
    worin die Wäsche einem Dampfstrom ausgesetzt wird, der in der Maschine durch Verdampfermittel erzeugt wird, und
    worin ein Alarmsignal abgeht, um einen Benutzer der Maschine darüber zu informieren, dass eine vorbestimmte Behandlung abgeschlossen worden ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    die Verdampfermittel für zumindest ein Nullzeitintervall (t2-t3) aktiviert werden, nachdem das Alarmsignal abgegangen ist, so dass nach dem Alarmsignal zusätzlicher Dampf erzeugt und die Wäsche einem weiteren Dampfstrom ausgesetzt wird.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, worin die Wäsche in eine Trommel verbracht wird, die sich weiterdreht, wenn Dampf erzeugt wird.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, worin das Nullzeitintervall endet, wenn ein Stoppsignal erzeugt wird.
  4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, worin das Stoppsignal durch den Verwender der Maschine erzeugt wird.
  5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, worin das Zeitintervall eine vorbestimmte Dauer hat und worin das Stoppsignal durch die Maschine automatisch erzeugt wird.
  6. Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, worin die Verdampfermittel für eine Mehrzahl von Nullzeitperioden abwechselnd aktiviert und deaktiviert werden, nachdem das Alarmsignal abgegangen ist.
  7. Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, worin die Strömungsrate des auf die Wäsche angewendeten Dampfs nach dem Alarmsignal reduziert wird.
  8. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 7, worin vor dem Alarmsignal die Trommel mit einer ersten Geschwindigkeit gedreht wird und nach dem Alarmsignal die Trommel mit einer zweiten Geschwindigkeit gedreht wird, die langsamer als die erste Geschwindigkeit ist.
  9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, sofern von Anspruch 6 abhängig, worin die Trommel gestoppt wird, wenn die Verdampfermittel deaktiviert werden.
  10. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 9, worin nach dem Stoppsignal die Menge des von der Maschine nach außen abgegebenen Dampfs erhöht wird.
  11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, worin nach dem Stoppsignal ein Gebläse eingeschaltet wird, um den Dampf nach außen abzugeben.
  12. Waschmaschine oder Wasch-/Trocknungsmaschine oder Wäschetrockner, umfassend
    zumindest eine drehbare Trommel, in die Wäsche geladen wird, Verdampfermittel, die dazu ausgelegt sind, einen auf die Wäsche anzuwendenden Dampfstrom zu erzeugen,
    Mittel, die dazu ausgelegt sind, ein Alarmsignal zu erzeugen,
    eine Steuereinheit, die dazu ausgelegt ist, die Drehung der Trommel, die Verdampfermittel und die Alarmmittel zu steuern,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Steuereinheit dazu ausgelegt ist, ein Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11 zu implementieren.
  13. Maschine nach Anspruch 12, worin die Verdampfermittel einen Boiler zum Erhitzen und Verdampfen von Wasser aufweisen.
  14. Maschine nach Anspruch 12, worin die Trommel innerhalb eines Trogs, der zur Aufnahme von Waschwasser ausgelegt ist, drehbar ist, und worin die Verdampfermittel einen elektrischen Widerstand aufweisen, der dazu ausgelegt ist, das in dem Trog vorhandene Wasser zu erwärmen.
  15. Maschine nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 12 bis 14, die ein Gebläse aufweist, das durch die Steuereinheit derart angesteuert werden kann, dass in Antwort auf ein Maschinenstoppsignal der Dampf zur Außenseite der Maschine abgegeben wird.
