Description

Handlauf für Fahrsteige, Fahrtreppen und dergleichen Handrail for moving walks, escalators and the like
The invention relates to a mountable on a guide element handrail for moving walks, escalators or the like called in the preamble of claim 1 genus.
Such handrails are already known (EP 0530944A1, DE 1756354A, DE 1939241 A and DE 2129582A). It has been shown that the cross-sectional dimensions of the handrails over the life in operation on the escalators, moving walkways and the like due to dynamic loads due to alternating positive and negative bends of the handrail during the passage through escalators, moving walks or the like due in particular Change shrinkage and distortion symptoms. To avoid these problems, it is known to incorporate such materials and inserts that keep the shrinkage within small limits. However, such handrails require sufficient clearance relative to the surfaces of the guide elements and its guide base so that the friction and thus the driving forces for moving the handrails on the guide element are not too large. In addition, care must be taken to ensure that gaps in which people could interfere when using escalators on the handrail, do not lead to injury.
The invention has for its object to improve the handrail to the effect that over the entire life of a safe and standard-compliant operation in compliance with safety regulations is possible without too high driving forces must be expended to drive the handrail. This task should be possible solved with low material costs. The invention is characterized in claim 1 and in the dependent claims further embodiments of the invention are claimed.
In the drawing, a preferred embodiment of the invention is shown schematically.
In the invention, the clear distance C of the ends of the curved edges of the handrail, which consists of the total gap dimension C1 + C2 plus the width X of the guide base at the relevant location, is selected such that the total gap dimension C1 + C2 is taken into account the tolerances of the width X of the guide base and the resulting in operation of the handrail shrinkage and distortion phenomena does not exceed 8 mm. The clear width A of the curved edges 4 should be selected to be greater than the width Y of the guide element on the lateral ribs by an overall gap dimension A1 + A2, such that the total gap dimension A1 + A2 takes into account the tolerances of the width Y of the guide element at the ends the ribs and the shrinkage and distortion occurring during operation of the handrail does not exceed 8 mm.
Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Bemessung des Handlaufs wird zunächst vomIn the inventive design of the handrail is first of
Cross-section of the guide element and its guide base assumed. The adaptation of the handrail to the guide element requires in production the control and reproducibility of all the cross-section of the handrail influencing shrinkage and distortion processes. The handrail in question is therefore adapted to the respective configuration of the guide element and its guide base. The cross-sections of the production tools and the semi-finished products are tuned so that a reproducible shaping with tight tolerances is ensured. This applies in particular to pressing, in particular extrusion and extrusion.
The contours of the handrail as well as the change of the contours of the handrail during operation must also be taken into account in test stands and / or calculations; likewise the material property plays and the type of stress in operation a role, which can be optimized by preliminary tests.
In the case of constant or increasing gaps during operation of the enclosed by the handrail cross section of the outer contour of the guide element and its guide base is specified. The upper tolerance limit of the guide element specifies the lower tolerance limit of the inner contour of the handrail. This ensures that the handrail is not stuck on the guide element, but can be easily moved. The handrail is then designed so that the change in the gap dimension during operation, that is, during the life of the handrail, by the total gap C1 + C2 is limited.
If the gap decreases during operation, the inner contour of the handrail is defined by the upper tolerance limit of the clear distance C in conjunction with the lower tolerance limit of the guide element and its guide base. The total gap dimension C1 + C2 should not exceed a value of 8 mm.
The handrail cross-section should be constructed so that the handrail does not stick to the guide element over the entire service life, but can easily be moved without excessive force.
In both cases, sufficient safety during operation and especially when used by persons is ensured.
According to the invention, therefore, the handrail can be adapted specifically to customer-specific guide elements without having to use particularly massive handrails. A price reduction in the production is therefore also a positive result of the invention.
According to a development of the invention, the lateral ribs of the guide element can be inclined or bent at an angle α relative to the plane of the sliding surface of the handrail; the curved edges of the handrail are also bent inwardly at approximately such an angle in the direction of the sliding surface. This results in an additional support function against lateral slippage of the handrail from the guide element. The laterally projecting ribs of the guide element can then be formed slightly shorter than in the non-angled arrangement. The gap B1 between the underside of the ribs and the inwardly bent end portions of the lateral edges should be less than 6 mm.
Of course, in the invention, the use of internal reinforcing means in the handrail is possible to ensure a certain Quersteif ig speed.
In the drawing, a schematic cross section of an embodiment of the invention is shown.
The outer contour arched handrail 1 of elastomeric or rubber-elastic material, e.g. crosslinked elastomers, such as SBR, CSM, EPDM, CR, NR, and thermoplastic elastomers, such as TPE and TPU, sits on its underside in this case substantially flat on the sliding surface 2 of the guide member 3 such that the handrail 1 in the longitudinal direction, that is, sliding perpendicular to the cross-sectional view or, in the case of the use of rollers, can also be moved along rollable. The guide element 3 has lateral, that is, also in the longitudinal direction rending ribs 5, which at an angle α in the downward direction, that is to the guide base 7, can be angled. The width Y of the guide element 3 at the outer edges 8 of the lateral ribs 5 is slightly smaller than the clear width A of the handrail 1 at the point where the edges 4 are bent around the ribs 5 to the end parts 10. This results in the gaps A1 and A2 on the sides.
Die lichte Weite C der inneren Enden 6 des Handlaufs 1 ist um das gesamteThe inside width C of the inner ends 6 of the handrail 1 is around the entire
Gap C1 + C2 greater than the width X of the guide socket 7. This creates between the inner ends 6 of the handrail 1 and the guide base 7 each have a gap according to the gap dimensions C1 and C2. The distance of the furthest downwardly drawn parts of the ribs 5 from the upper sliding surface 2 of the guide member 1 is denoted by Z, so that the gap B1 from the distance of the inner end portions 10 of the handrail 1 of the inclined by the angle α and down facing sides 9 of the ribs 5 results.
Der Handlauf 1 weist die Gesamtbreite B auf. Diese beträgt beispielsweise 70 mm.The handrail 1 has the total width B on. This is for example 70 mm.
The handrail may in particular be provided in its middle part with internal reinforcing means 11 in order to improve the transverse stiffness and tensile strength without impairing the mobility in the transport direction over the guide element 3.
