Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Rauchwarnmelder mit einem Gehäuse, welches Rauchdurchtrittsöffnungen (4) aufweist und einen Rauchdetektor sowie eine Alarmmeldevorrichtung umfasst, bei dem das Innere des Gehäuses durch eine Trennwand (3) in zwei Kammern (1,2) unterteilt ist, die erste Kammer (1) die Rauchdurchtrittsöffnungen (4) umfasst und die zweite Kammer (2) wenigstens eine Öffnung (5) umfasst, welche die zweite Kammer mit der Umgebung verbindet, in der Trennwand (3) eine erste Durchgangsöffnung (6) und wenigstens eine zweite Durchgangsöffnung (7) angeordnet ist, die jeweils die beiden Kammern (1,2) verbinden, in der ersten Durchgangsöffnung (6) ein zumindest zeitweise betätigbarer Ventilator (8) angeordnet ist, mit dem Ventilator (8) ein Gesamtluftstrom durch die erste Durchgangsöffnung (6) erzeugbar ist, der aufgeteilt ist in einen Hauptluftstrom (H) durch die Rauchdurchtrittsöffnungen (4), durch die erste Durchgangsöffnung (6) und die wenigstens eine Öffnung (5) in der zweiten Kammer, sowie einen Nebenluftstrom (N) zwischen den Kammern (1,2) durch die erste und die wenigstens eine zweite Durchgangsöffnung (6,7) hindurch, ein Sensorelement (9) vorgesehen ist, insbesondere in oder im Bereich der wenigstens einen zweiten Durchgangsöffnung (7), mit welchem die Stärke des Nebenluftstromes (N) messbar ist, die von dem Drosselungsgrad der Rauchdurchtrittsöffnungen (4) abhängt. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein Verfahren zur Überprüfung der Verschmutzung von Rauchdurchtrittsöffnungen (4) eines Rauchwarnmelders.
