Description

The invention relates to a waxing device according to the preamble of claim 1.

Paraffining devices have long been known in the context of cross-wound textile machines and described in detail in the patent literature.

Such paraffining devices are used in cheese-making textile machines mainly to reduce the coefficient of friction of a yarn.
That is, in open-end spinning machines, for example, the freshly prepared yarn, before it is wound into a cheese, applied paraffin particles, which improve the running and sliding properties of the yarn, which has a positive effect especially in subsequent processing, such as knitting and knitting ,

In order to achieve the most uniform possible wear of the paraffin body in such paraffining facilities, the paraffin body is usually slowly rotated about its central longitudinal axis, wherein the current thread at the same time easily applied to the front side of the paraffin body.
The paraffin body is rotationally fixed for this purpose, but mounted axially displaceably on a drivable receiving shaft and is pressed by a spring element against Wegbegrenzungsmittel that dictate the working position of the paraffin body.

With regard to the drive of the take-up shaft of such paraffining devices, various embodiments are used.
For example, it is known to drive the take-up shafts of the machine-side paraffining devices, like the other functional elements of the workstations of such textile machines, over machine-length drive shafts which are each acted upon by an electric motor arranged in the end frame of the textile machine.
Paraffining devices, which are acted upon directly or indirectly by a machine-length drive shaft, are for example in the DE 195 39 099 A1 , in the EP 0 071 582 A1 or in the manual "AUTOCORO" by Schlafhorst, page 1.4.15.

The use of such machine-length drive means, however, proves to be disadvantageous if repairs are necessary during the spinning operation at individual workstations.
An exchange of functional elements of the jobs is hardly possible during spinning, for example.

In modern open-end spinning devices, it has therefore begun to provide the Garnbildungs- and winding devices of the jobs with individual drives and so to arrange in a workstation housing that, if necessary, the Garnbildungs- and winding devices can be replaced as a unit during the ongoing spinning operation.
In this context, it was also begun to equip the paraffining each with a single drive.
Such single motor driven paraffining devices are for example the subject of DE 103 54 588 A1 or the DE 10 2006 018 838 A1 ,

In individual motor driven paraffining the above-described problems of highly restricted accessibility of the jobs during the spinning operation are not given, but single motor driven paraffining have the disadvantage that they are structurally designed relatively expensive, since they each require their own drive.
The manufacturing costs of such motor driven paraffining devices are therefore relatively high.

Based on the aforementioned prior art, the present invention seeks to provide a paraffining device, which is both favorable in terms of their production costs, as well as designed so that the arranged in a job site paraffining device, if necessary, together with the Garnbildungs- and / or the winding devices of the relevant job, can be easily removed.

This object is achieved by a paraffining device, as described in claim 1.

Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The paraffining device according to the invention with a telescopically designed drive shaft, which has a first shaft piece with a coupling device arranged at the end and a second shaft piece with a coupling element arranged at the end, wherein the coupling device and the coupling element are each designed so that they can correspond with one another, has the advantage in that the drive shafts are adjacent Paraffiniereinrichtungen can be easily joined together to form a continuous drive train, which can be easily separated in Bedarffall but also.
That is, with such trained paraffining can be realized in a simple and cost-effective manner, a continuous drive train, which ensures a safe drive multiple Paraffiniereinrichtungen during spinning operation and is very reliable and almost maintenance-free.

The paraffining device according to the invention can also, if necessary, even with the textile machine running, preferably together with their associated work place housing and also arranged in the work place housing and then shut off Garnbildungs- and winding facilities of the relevant job to be replaced.
At the paraffining facilities only two shaft pieces of the continuous drive train in the sense of "shorten the drive shaft" must be moved in the course of such a removal or installation of a workstation housing.
That is, the first shaft of the telescopic drive shaft of the respective paraffining device and the first shaft of the paraffining device of the adjacent work site must be pulled out of their adjacent second shaft pieces.
The workstation housing in question can then be easily removed, preferably after releasing some easily releasable fasteners on the workstation housing.
In a possibly necessary replacement of functional elements of a job, which takes place while the remaining jobs of the open-end rotor spinning machine on produce no time-consuming assembly, or any adjustments.
The resulting gap in the drive train can either be closed by the installation of a new complete workstation housing, or it is simply first a separate, telescoping drive shaft clipped into the gap of the drive train and closed in this way the drive train again.

As already indicated above, another decisive advantage of the paraffining device according to the invention lies in its low production costs.
That is, both the telescopic drive shaft and almost all other components of the waxing device can be produced inexpensively as plastic injection molded parts. Furthermore, in the inventive design of the paraffining per machine side of the textile machine only relatively few drives, in a preferred embodiment, only two drives per machine section, that is, a drive per twelve jobs required.

As described in claim 2, drive shafts of adjacent paraffining devices can be connected via the coupling device of a first shaft piece and the coupling element of a second shaft piece, wherein a coupling device with a coupling element in the assembled state in each case forms a non-rotatable, if necessary, manually easily releasable clip connection.
That is, via the two coupling parts, the first and second shaft pieces of the drive shafts of adjacent paraffining devices can be easily connected to a continuous drive train, on the one hand during the spinning operation for a safe drive of the paraffining devices on the other hand, if necessary, but also easily be separated again.
The operator does not need special tools to disengage and remove a paraffin device that is turned on in a continuous powertrain from the driveline.

As set forth in claim 3, it is also provided in an advantageous embodiment that the second shaft piece is rotatably mounted, but fixed in the axial direction, via an intermediate shaft piece in the housing of the waxing device.
Such a design of the second shaft piece and the intermediate shaft piece facilitates the production of a telescopic drive shaft, in particular, if an axially displaceable mounting of the first shaft piece of the drive shaft is provided in the intermediate shaft piece considerably.

As further set forth in claim 4, the first shaft piece is rotationally fixed, but axially displaceable, mounted in a bearing recess of the intermediate shaft piece.
That is, by an advantageous embodiment of the first shaft piece is provided in conjunction with a corresponding advantageous embodiment of a bearing recess in the intermediate shaft piece that on the one hand a secure rotationally fixed connection of the shaft pieces is ensured during operation and on the other hand, if necessary, easily at any time a change easily the length of the drive shaft is possible.

As described in claims 5 to 7, it is provided in an advantageous embodiment that per machine section two continuous drive trains are provided, which are each rotated by a section drive.

The section drive for preferably twelve paraffining devices is formed, for example, as a stepping motor with associated stepper motor gear, wherein the stepping motor gear has a connection means for the drive train.
The connection means may correspond in its structural design to the structure of a coupling element, as it is known from a second shaft piece.
This means that a coupling device of a first shaft section of a telescopic drive shaft of a paraffining device can be connected to the stepper motor gearbox at any time without problems, which then forms the first section of a drive train of a machine section.

However, it must be expressly pointed out in this context that the present invention should not be limited to the use of two drives per machine section or two drive trains, each of which has exactly the length of a machine section.
It is also conceivable to use more than two drives per machine section or to choose a drive train that is longer than a machine section.

As set forth in claim 8, each first shaft of the telescopic drive shaft of a paraffining device is equipped with a handle attachment, which allows easy positioning of the first shaft piece.
That is, the handle lug facilitates an operator in case of need, the loosening or making a clip connection between an axially fixed second shaft piece and an axially displaceably mounted first shaft piece.
The handle approach is particularly advantageous if the first shaft piece, which is not always completely avoid something contaminated by paraffin abrasion and thus something has become smooth.

As already indicated above and described in claim 9, at least the telekopierbare drive shaft is made of a modern plastic. Such modern plastics represent durable and relatively insensitive materials, which are also relatively inexpensive.

The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawings.

The central control unit 46 is in turn connected to the workstation computers 47 of the individual workstations 1, preferably via the bus system 43.

In each case, by means of the open-end spinning device 2, an original fiber web 48, which is stored in spinning cans 49, which are positioned in series next to each other underneath the workstations 1, is spun into a yarn 3, which is then wound on the winding device 44 to form a cross-wound bobbin 8 is wound up.

In order to paraffinize the yarn 3 before it runs onto the cheese 8, the individual work stations 1 are each equipped with a waxing device 5, whose mode of operation and drive device are described below with reference to FIG FIGS. 2 to 4 is explained in more detail.

The paraffining devices 5 of a machine segment side 50 are, as in Fig. 1 indicated, each connected by a drive train 53, which in turn consists of numerous, telescopic drive shafts 28 of the paraffining 5 and by a section drive 55, consisting of a stepper motor with a stepper motor gear 56, can be acted upon.

In FIG. 2 one of the jobs 1 of the open-end rotor spinning machine 40 is shown in side view.
Such work stations 1, as already explained above, each have a workstation housing 11, in which the Garnbildungs- and winding devices of the workplace are integrated.
That is, the workstation housing 11 has an open-end rotor spinning device 2 for manufacturing a thread 3 and a winding device 44 for producing a cross-wound bobbin 8.
The winding device 44 has inter alia a traversing device 6 and a coil drive roller 7.

In addition, the workstation housing 11 is equipped with a Fadenabziehvorrichtung 4 and a paraffining device 5 according to the invention.
The cross-wound bobbin 8 is rotatably mounted in a creel 9, which in turn is connected via a pivot axis 10 to the workstation housing 11.

In the area of the waxing device 5, which will be described below with reference to FIG FIGS. 3 and 4 is explained in more detail, also a mechanical yarn store 12 is arranged.
The operation of such a mechanical thread store 12 is known in principle and, for example, in the DE 199 15 529 A1 described in detail.

The FIG. 3 shows a paraffining device 5 according to the invention in front view.
As can be seen, a paraffin body 14 is arranged on a rotatably mounted receiving shaft 13, non-rotatably but axially displaceable, which is acted upon by a spring element 15 and a corresponding pressure rod 32 in the axial direction and abuts with its end face 16 on Wegbegrenzungsmitteln 17.
This Wegbegrenzungsmittel 17 are fixed to a stopper flap 18 of the waxing device 5 and can be adjusted if necessary in terms of their axial position.
The stop flap 18 is in turn connected via a vertical axis 19 pivotally connected to the housing 20 of the waxing device 5.
The stop flap 18 has a downwardly cantilevered bracket 21 on which rotatably mounted, stationary thread guide means 22, 23 of a mechanical thread store 12 are arranged. Between these spaced, stationary thread guide means 22, 23 is a displaceable Thread guide means 24 stored, for example, via a in Fig.2 schematically illustrated pivot or linear drive 27 is defined adjustable and whose respective position determines the amount of stored in the yarn store 12 thread.

On the stopper flap 18, a force-locking magnetic closure 25 is also arranged, by means of which the connection flap 18 can be fixed in the operating position shown in the figures.

Furthermore, the stop flap 18 has, in the region of its upper edge, a horizontally extending thread guide strip 26, on which the running thread 3 slides during its traversing and thereby guided safely.
In order to facilitate the threading of the thread in the thread guide means 22 to 24 of the thread store, yarn guide elements 29, 30 are also provided on the stop flap 18.

As in the FIGS. 3 and 4 shown, the drive of the take-up shaft 13 and thus of the paraffin body 14 by means of a drivable, telescopic drive shaft 28 takes place.
The drive shaft 28 of each waxing device 5 consists of a first, axially displaceably mounted shaft piece 35, which has a coupling device 37 at the end, an axially fixed intermediate shaft piece 60 and an intermediate shaft piece 60 fixed second shaft piece 36 which is end equipped with a coupling element 38 ,
The first shaft piece 35, which has a handle extension 39, is non-rotatably but axially displaceably mounted in a bearing recess 31 of the intermediate shaft piece 60.

As in particular from Fig. 4 can be seen, the intermediate shaft piece 60 also has a drive screw 51 which meshes with a gear 52 which is part of the take-up shaft 13.

As already explained above and for example in Figure 5 shown in the installed state of the work place housing 11, the drive shafts 28 each adjacent Paraffiniereinrichtungen 5 via the coupling means 37 and the coupling elements 38 of the shaft pieces 35, 36 connected to a section-length drive train 53, which in turn is defined by a section drive 55 rotatable.

This respective section-length drive train 53 can be realized even if at one of the workstations 1, the workstation housing 11 and thus the associated paraffining device 5 is removed.
In such, in Figure 6 In the case shown, the resulting gap can be bridged by a separate telescopic drive shaft 28, so that all the paraffining devices 5 of a machine section 50 can be driven by a section drive 55 and a common drive train 53.
