Abstract

The method involves exposing a cake e.g. chip cake or fiber cake, made of wood chips or wood fibers on a conveyor belt (2) to vacuum below a prepress (3) and in front of a hot press (5). An impregnating fluid is applied on the cake and is distributed due to the vacuum at the cake. The impregnating fluid is cross-linked during pressing. The impregnating fluid is sprayed on the chip cake or fiber cake by nozzles, where the fluid influences water absorption capacity and mechanical strength properties of a pressed wooden material board. An independent claim is also included for a system for manufacturing a wooden material board i.e. wood fiberboard.

Ein solches Verfahren ist beispielsweise aus der DE 10 2005 033 687 A1 bekannt. Um nach diesem Verfahren eine MDF- oder HDF-Platte herzustellen, müssen zuerst lange Fasern in einem Zerfaserungsschnitt hergestellt werden, was in einem vorgelagerten Prozess oder unmittelbar vor der Anlage zur Herstellung der Holzfaserplatten erfolgen kann. Die groben, langen Holzfasern werden dann mit Zuschlagstoffen, wie beispielsweise Flammschutzmitteln und Hydrophobiermitteln beaufschlagt. Anschließend wird Bindemittel (Harnstoff-Formaldehyd-Leim) über eine Blowline zugegeben und die Fasern dann mit entsprechenden Zuschlagstoffen und der Faserbeleimung über einen Stromrohrtrockner getrocknet. Zwischen der Vorpresse 3 und der Heißpresse 5, in der der komprimierte Kuchen 6 unter hohem Druck und hoher Temperatur zu einer Holzwerkstoffplatte gewünschter Dicke verpresst wird, ist eine Imprägnierstation 4 integriert, die aus einer unter dem Förderband 2 angeordneten Vakuumstation 12 und einem über dem Förderband 2 angeordneten Auftragsaggregat, wie beispielsweise Düsen 7, 8, besteht. In der Zeichnung sind für das Auftragsaggregat beispielhaft zwei Düsen 7, 8 dargestellt. Je nach Imprägnierzweck wird eine gewünschte Anzahl an Düsen in gewünschter Verteilung innerhalb der Imprägnierstation vorgesehen werden.
