  • Suction means such as for instance one or more fans, can therefore be omitted in the present embodiment as long as tube 90 remains disposed somewhat vertically. This means that power supply 107 only need be used for ion filter 101, and can therefore have a relatively long lifespan.

  • the control unit or the detector concludes that the tobacco in the tobacco space has been lit and generates an electrical signal representative thereof. On the basis of this signal the control unit then activates the fan, so that from that moment the forced flow is excited in the channels of the device.
  • the control can conclude that the tobacco in the tobacco space is no longer burning.
  • the control unit then deactivates the fan, optionally with a preset time delay. This prevents the fan being active for too long and ensures a long lifespan of the power supply.

  • Figure 6A shows a device 113 which is constructed from a housing 114 with an elongate droplet shape, wherein the housing is provided on the top side with a first pivotable cover 115 and provided on the underside with a second pivotable cover 125.
  • housing 114 is provided with channels and one-way valves with which a correct flow of smoke gases can be realized.
  • FIG 6A shows that, in order to protect the health of the user when cover 115 is opened, an (additional) filter 118 can be arranged close to the mouthpiece 116 of housing 114, this such that the smoke gases from a cigarette drawn in via a one-way valve 119 must first pass through filter 118 before they can be drawn in by the user. This ensures that the air finally inhaled by the user is always pre-filtered.
  • the filter is arranged by being clamped between wall 127 and a part of outer wall 128 of housing 114 (direction P 18 ). A cigarette (S) can then be pushed into a clip 117 intended for this purpose (direction P 19 ). Once the cigarette has been arranged, the cover 115 is closed (P 20 ).
  • Housing 114 is also provided with a rotatable flap 125 in which the above mentioned carbon pad 123 can be laid. After closure (P 21 ) of flap 125, the smoke gases can be readily filtered by the carbon filter and leave the device via openings 129. This situation is shown in figure 6B . The device is now ready for use. The cigarette is now lit by a lighter (not shown) provided close to the outer end of the cigarette.

Claims (13)

  1. Vorrichtung (1) zum Filtern von Tabakrauch von einem Tabakprodukt, die ein Gehäuse, in dem das Tabakprodukt angeordnet werden kann, und ein Filter zum Filtern von Tabakrauch umfasst, wobei das Gehäuse umfasst:
    - einen Tabakbehälter (7) zum Aufnehmen von Tabak,
    - eine Außenluftzufuhr (11) zum Zuführen von Außenluft aus der Umgebung, die für die Verbrennung des Tabaks notwendig ist,
    - einen Tabakrauchauslass (12;48,48',49,52;79,82) zum Freisetzen von Tabakrauch, der durch die Verbrennung verursacht wird,
    - Gasverdrängungsmittel (20,54,76) zum Erzeugen eines oder mehrerer erzwungener Gasströme in dem Tabakrauchauslass;
    - ein Filter (28,50), das mit dem Tabakrauchauslass verbunden ist, zum Filtern von Substanzen, die für die Umgebung schädlich sind, aus dem Tabakrauch, der durch das Gasverdrängungsmittel durch den Tabakrauchauslass hindurchgedrückt wird;
    - ein Mundstück (3), das mit dem Tabakbehälter (7) und dem Rauchauslass verbunden ist und mit dem ein Raucher den Tabakrauch aus dem Tabakbehälter inhalieren kann und den Tabakrauch zu dem Tabakrauchauslass ausstoßen kann, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Filter (28,50) mindestens eines von einer elektrostatischen Filtereinheit, einer Ionisationsfiltereinheit (76,101), einer Zentrifugalfiltereinheit, einer UV-Filtereinheit oder einer Ozonfiltereinheit umfasst und dass das Filter weiterhin mindestens eine Kombination einer mechanischen Filtereinheit, die eine HEPA-Filtereinheit umfasst, und einer Absorptionsfiltereinheit umfasst.
  2. Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei das mechanische Filter und Absorptionsfilter in dem Rauchauslass so angeordnet sind, dass sie den freigesetzten Rauch zuerst durch das mechanische Filter und nachfolgend durch das Absorptionsfilter filtern.
  3. Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das Filter eine Kombination einer elektrostatischen Filtereinheit, einer HEPA-Filtereinheit und einer Absorptionsfiltereinheit umfasst.
  4. Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei das mechanische Filter ein Metallgitter oder Stoff kleiner Maschenweite umfasst.
  5. Vorrichtung gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Absorptionsfiltereinheit eine Aktivkohlefiltereinheit umfasst.
  6. Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 5, wobei die Aktivkohlefiltereinheit eine Filterlage umfasst, die sich in einer Position quer zur Richtung des Ausstoßes des Rauchs in dem Rauchauslass erstreckt.
  7. Vorrichtung gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, die eine Kathode und eine Anode, zwischen denen der Rauch zum Ionisieren mindestens einiger der Substanzen in dem Rauch unter dem Einfluss eines elektrischen Feldes zwischen der Kathode und Anode geführt werden kann, und Sammelmittel zum Sammeln der ionisierten Substanzen umfasst.
  8. Vorrichtung gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, die Gasverdrängungsmittel (20) zum Erzeugen eines oder mehrerer erzwungener Gasströme in dem Tabakrauchauslass umfasst, wobei die Gasverdrängungsmittel zum im wesentlichen kontinuierlichen Hindurchdrücken von Gasen, die Tabakrauch enthalten, aus dem Tabakbehälter zu dem Tabakrauchauslass und Treiben der Gase durch das Filter aufgebaut sind, sowohl in einer Bereitschaftssituation, in welcher der Tabak entzündet worden ist und keine Inhalation oder Ausstoß stattfinden, und in einer Ausstoßsituation, wo mindestens ein Teil der inhalierten Luft durch den Nutzer mittels des Mundstücks ausgestoßen wird.
  9. Vorrichtung gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, die einen Filterraum umfasst, der in dem Gehäuse vorgesehen ist und der von der Umgebung mit einer entfernbaren Verschlussabdeckung (5,56) abgeschlossen werden kann, wobei ein oder mehrere ersetzbare Filter in dem Filterraum angeordnet werden können.
  10. Vorrichtung gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, die angepasst ist, in einer Bereitschaftssituation, in welcher der Tabak entzündet worden ist und keine Inhalation oder Ausstoß stattfindet, für erzwungene Freisetzung des Tabakrauchs durch den Tabakrauchauslass.
  11. Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 10, die angepasst ist, ebenfalls in einer Ausstoßsituation, wo zumindest ein Teil der inhalierten Luft durch den Nutzer mittels des Mundstücks (3) ausgestoßen wird, für erzwungene Freisetzung des Tabakrauchs durch den Tabakrauchauslass.
  12. Vorrichtung gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, die ebenfalls einen Detektor umfasst, der in oder nahe dem Tabakbehälter angeordnet ist, um direkt oder indirekt Tabakrauch zu erfassen, wobei der Detektor mit dem Schalter zum Einschalten des einen oder der mehreren Gebläse im Falle von Tabakrauch und ihrem Ausschalten bei der Abwesenheit von Tabakrauch verbunden ist.
  13. Vorrichtung gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, die folgendes umfasst:
    - einen Temperatursensor, der in oder nahe dem Tabakbehälter angeordnet ist, um ein Temperatursignal zu erzeugen, das für die Temperatur repräsentativ ist,
    - Steuerungsmittel, das mit dem Temperatursensor, dem einen oder den mehreren Gebläsen (20) und/oder dem Schalter zum Einschalten des einen oder der mehreren Gebläse oberhalb einer vorgegebenen Temperatur und deren Abschalten unterhalb einer vorgegebenen Temperatur, dieses auf der Basis des Temperatursignals, verbunden ist.
