Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

The invention relates to a method for producing a seamless shower plate made of waterproof natural or artificial stone or ceramic, which is installed in bathrooms or as a separate shower area with or without support body. One-piece shower trays not only ensure the tightness of the shower stall, but also give bathrooms an exclusive look, especially when installed in the same material as the adjoining floor and level therewith. In addition, a continuous transition from the bathroom floor to the shower area fulfills the requirements of a barrier-free bathroom. In this case, the shower plate from any waterproof natural material, such as natural or artificial stone, but also made of ceramic. Known for this purpose is an existing from a floor with peripheral edge shower tray made of natural stone, the bottom surface has a graduated from the edge to the water surface. The stepped surface is made by milling a natural stone block having two plane-parallel planes, the milling cutter depending Stair step is guided in a plane running parallel to the plane-parallel surfaces ( DE 195 41 692 A1 ). The disadvantage of this shower tray is that the stepped floor surface, even if the difference in height from level to level is only less than 1 mm, is felt to be disturbing on the feet. Also, purely visually, the surface is not homogeneous, whereby the aesthetics of the shower is impaired. Another disadvantage is that residues of water and dirt stick to the steps and a stepped floor surface is harder to clean than a smooth surface. However, a disadvantage is also the elaborate machining process, in which the milling cutter must be guided according to the number of stages in different levels.

Another shower tray made of natural stone consists of a smooth-surfaced floor with a peripheral edge and a water outlet, the floor has a sloping from the edge to the water surface. The edge of the shower tray is flush with the adjacent upper floor ( DE 201 17 836 U1 ). The peripheral edge, which is apparently intended to prevent the escape of water in the area of the topsoil disturbing in two ways: First, it affects the overall aesthetic effect of the shower tray made of natural stone, as it represents a clear visual interruption between the shower tray and adjacent topsoil, and On the other hand, the edge formed by it interferes with the human foot or can sometimes pose a considerable risk of injury to him. Furthermore, the joining of shower tray and topsoil is associated with additional effort.

( WO 2004/043214 A )Also known is a method for the production of bath equipment made of wood, in which in a first process step plates, which consist of a plurality of joined strips are joined in an overlapped position. The axes thereof are parallel or perpendicular to the longitudinal surface of the plates, so that an output body made in this way has sufficient dimensions and shape which corresponds to the shape of the associated bathing device comprising it. In a second process step, the hollow mold provided for the starting body is introduced by machining. The three-dimensional mold is machined out of the starting body by means of a CNC machine controlled by a program containing the desired shape of the device. ( WO 2004/043214 A )

Zur Ableitung des Wassers sind von deren Rand ausgehende und zu einem in die Steinplatte eingearbeiteten Abfluss führende Nuten in die Steinplatte eingearbeitet ( EP 1 147 732 A2 ).Finally, a floor element of a shower for collecting and draining water is known, which is formed as a one-piece flat and horizontal flagstone and is installed in stepless continuation to a subsequent floor. To derive the water outgoing from the edge and leading to an incorporated into the stone plate drain grooves are incorporated into the stone plate ( EP 1 147 732 A2 ).

The inventive method with the features of claim 1 is a very comfortable processing method, with which a shape-variable surface shape of the shower base can be achieved in a continuous operation. The desired shape of the shower floor, which is the drainage area for the Water is stored in a data processing program that controls, for example, a CNC processing machine. This can be made of noble and therefore expensive natural or artificial stone, such. As marble, granite, ceramics o. Ä., Existing material blocks shower plates for exclusive bathrooms in any shape desired by the customer, despite that it is in each shower plate is essentially a custom-made, are made relatively inexpensive. The shape of the shower base affects not only the pure gradient surface, but also their peripheral shape, ie their edge region on which the slope begins, and the opening for the water outlet. When designing the border, any shapes are also conceivable. The elaboration of the drainage surface for the water supply to the outlet is carried out as arbitrarily curved surfaces, deviating from the usual, inwardly just sloping water supply.

The production of a shower plate made of a formable by means of abrading processing natural or artificial stone or ceramic also has the advantage that the transition from the outer edges of the block of material to the visible surface sharp, ie quasi linear can be formed. This is the prerequisite for connecting the floor adjacent to the shower panel to the shower panel with the smallest possible joint width. Incidentally, it should be clarified by the use of the term "shower plate" instead of "shower tray" that this invention is not a basin-shaped collecting container for the shower water, but a harmoniously integrated into the floor of a bath plate, in addition Ensures the function of the water drainage.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the drainage surface of the shower plate is first prepared, wherein the machining tool is moved away from its upper edge to the lowest point of the shower plate and in the reverse direction. Whenever the processing tool moves towards the edge of the shower tray, it runs out on the surface of the shower tray, creating a step-free transition from the drainage surface to the edge of the shower tray. In this procedure, the contour of the drainage surface is formed successively in the course of processing. In this way, it is possible to visually highlight the drainage surface with respect to the edge region of the shower plate without a disturbing paragraph. The paragraph-free transition from the drainage surface to the untreated edge region is particularly important for the area of entry and exit of the shower plate. The advantage of the heel-free transition is also given in those shower trays that have no or only partially a horizontal edge region, in which therefore the upper edge of the drainage surface at least partially simultaneously forms the outer edge of the shower tray. In such a shower plate, the upper edge of the drainage surface or parts of it also close without paragraph directly to the floor.

According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the contour of the upper edge of the drainage surface is first prepared after the production of the material block. These are blocks of material that have two plane-parallel surfaces. In that case, this edge contour will represent a closed horizontal of arbitrary shape, from which the likewise arbitrarily shaped gradient leads to the drainage opening of the shower tray. The beginning of the Machining with this horizontal simplifies the programming of the machining process.

According to an additional advantageous embodiment of the invention adjacent to the unprocessed edge of the shower plate upper edge of the drainage surface is chamfered. This achieves an even smoother transition from the drainage surface to the edge of the shower tray. This is particularly advantageous if, due to thickness tolerances of the material block in this transition region slight differences in height, which can move quite in the range of tenths to a few millimeters occur. These height differences are masked by chamfering.

According to an additional advantageous embodiment of the invention, the production of the drain opening is integrated into the machining process. During the production of a concealed spout, the preparation of the recess for covering the drain opening is then integrated into the process at the same time. This creates the shower tray in an uninterrupted process. This procedure is also advantageous because in the program control anyway the position of the drain opening must be considered as the lowest point of the drainage area.
According to a related advantageous embodiment of the invention, the drain opening is introduced after the completion of the drainage surface at its lowest point without interruption of the machining process in the shower tray. In the production of a concealed spout then the preparation of the recess for the cover of the spout is then integrated into the process at the same time. As a result, the machining tool only needs the material block on its to work out the thinnest point. Of course, it is also conceivable to first introduce the opening for the outlet in the material block and then work out the drainage area between this opening and the edge.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the drainage surface and the drain opening are machined out of the block of material by 3-D milling. This method allows rapid processing with conventional tools and processing machines and is therefore particularly inexpensive.

According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the drainage surface of the shower plate is subjected to a finish processing. So z. B. by a final sandblasting depending on the grain used a refinement of the surface or a roughening to improve slip resistance can be achieved. The introduction of patterns to improve the aesthetic appearance is possible in this way.

A shower plate produced by the method according to the invention is characterized in that the transition from the unprocessed edge surface of the base body to the processed drainage surface is formed continuously, ie without disturbing shoulders, at least in the region of the exit. As a result, this area is virtually unnoticeable for the human foot and thus does not pose a risk of injury.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the transition from the edge region into the drainage surface is as surrounding the drainage surface as a closed contour, formed continuously machined surface. As a result, the peripheral shape of the drainage surface, as provided by the programming, is highlighted particularly well, since this edge region is continuously changed by the machining tool in its surface structure, regardless of thickness tolerances of the material block. Since the thickness tolerances are usually only a few tenths to a millimeter, this should also be no noticeable paragraph. The production of this continuously processed edge region can, as described in claim 3, take place at the beginning of the machining process. In addition to its aesthetic effect, this edge area still has an essential technical function: since it has a rougher surface structure than the adjacent untreated edge, it simultaneously interrupts the capillary action of the water and thus impedes the flow of water to the outside.

Further advantages and advantageous embodiments of the invention are the following description, the drawings and claims removed.

Beschreibung des AusführungsbeispielsDescription of the embodiment

Fig. 1 shows the main parts of a shower area with a shower plate 1 according to the invention, two wall panels 2 and a base plate 3. The shower plate 1 according to the invention is designed square in this variant and from the FIGS. 2 and 3 closer recognizable. Its surface is formed by a continuous, slightly concave elaborated drainage surface 4 and a surrounding outer edge 5. Although made by a material-removing process, the drainage surface 4 has no, not even by their production conditional, edges or heels, so that their quality in terms of haptic sensation from the outer edge to the water outlet is quite comparable to the smooth surface of deep-drawn or cast shower bases. How out Fig. 3 recognizable, is also the outer edge 5 without paragraph or edge in the drainage surface 4 on. At its lowest point, the drainage surface 4 has an opening 6 for connection to the drainage of the shower area, wherein the opening can be closed by a cover 7. The wall panels 2 are placed on the outer edge 5 of the shower plate 1 and sealed against this and at their abutting longitudinal edges. To accommodate the wall panels 2 1 grooves can be incorporated into the shower tray. In the present example, however, only grooves 8 are incorporated to accommodate the shower enclosure final shower partitions in the outer edge 5.

The arrangement of the shower plate 1 to an adjacent floor 9 is in Fig. 4 shown. For mounting the shower enclosure a corresponding dimensions of the shower plate 1 recess is provided in the floor 9, the depth, measured from the top of the floor 9 to the support surface of the base plate 3, the thickness of shower plate 1 and base plate 3 corresponds, so that the surface of the floor 9 and the outer edge 5 of the shower plate 1 form a plane.

At a second, in the Fig. 5 to 7 illustrated embodiment, a shower room is described with a shower plate 10, the drain surface 11 is slightly convex, ie that is in its center the highest point. The slope of the ramp surface 11 leads to a circumferential in the outer edge 12 of the shower tray 10 gutter 13, which in turn Slope to a meaningfully arranged on the edge of the shower plate 10 arranged drain opening 14 out. The gradient is indicated by arrows. In the in Fig. 7 shown top view of the shower plate 10, the two grooves 8 for receiving shower partitions are recognizable.

In Fig. 8 is a shower plate 15 shown with a rectangular basic shape, in which in addition to a drain opening 16, a circumferential overflow channel 17 is incorporated in the outer edge. This can be up to a millimeter deep and serves to interrupt the flow of water to the outer edge.

The Fig. 9 to 14 should show the variety of design options of shower trays by the processing method according to the invention. In Fig. 9 nine shower plates are shown with a rectangular outer shape and drainage inwards, wherein the drainage surfaces have an arbitrarily different outer boundary and the opening for the drainage are arranged anywhere on the shower plate. The resulting differently concave shaped run-off surfaces can be produced by the inventive processing method without great effort, without noticeable edges. Even the outer boundary of the drainage surface, which is represented in all figures to illustrate the shape by a closed line, is not noticeable when entering the shower plate, but only recognizable by the different surface structure of the horizontal outer edge and drainage surface, which results from a different processing , Fig. 10 shows one of two people simultaneously usable double shower plate 18 with two Drain openings 16, wherein the drainage surface 19 is provided at the front and rear with different radii 20.

An outside in the form of a screw designed shower plate 21 is in Fig. 11 shown. It consists of a flat part 22, which has the shape of a quarter circle, and a slope part 23, in which the drain opening 16 is located. The flat part 22 may be designed as an entry area of the shower. The slope begins without a flat edge region directly to the round outer edge of the shower plate 21. However, the installation of such a shower plate requires more effort in the design of the adjacent floor, which must be adapted to the helical shape of the shower plate 21. Of course, it is also possible to produce such a shower plate as a cuboid plate and herauszuarbeiten the helical shape of the slope portion 23 by means of the method of the invention from the plate, so that the upper edge of the slope portion 23 passes smoothly into a flat, possibly unprocessed edge surface.

In Fig. 12 Again, a shower plate 24 is shown with a rectangular outer shape. Its drainage surface 25 essentially follows the outer shape. Only in the entry area of the shower, a wider, flat edge region 26 is provided on the right and left. In the drainage surface 25, an elongated drain opening 27 is arranged. Such a shower plate 24 can also be used by two people at the same time.

The FIGS. 13 and 14 show two shower trays 28 and 29 with a circular arc limited drainage surface 30, wherein the shower plate 28 has an elliptical drain opening 31 and the Shower plate 29 has an elongated curved drain opening 32.
