Description

The invention relates to a packaging machine and a method for the continuous production of plastic film packaging with a peel-off zone (strip zone) and a label, wherein the label is applied to the peel-off zone of the peelable film, and a plastic film packaging with such a label.

Plastic film packaging often consists of two merged films. Such films are processed on packaging machines usually in the form of film webs. For this purpose, the film webs are guided in funding and divided by cutting tools in defined sections of film. Such packaging according to the invention from a lower film formed in troughs, packaged goods introduced into the trough and a top film sealed on the trough itself have long been known. These are created on thermoforming packaging machines.

The JP 6054564 U discloses deep-drawn foil packaging with a label in the corner region of the cover foil, wherein the label can be used to remove the cover foil. Thermoforming machines according to the preamble of claim 1 are known. An example of this is the disclosure of EP 1598276 A1 and the EP 280659 A1 , However, the application of labels is not the subject of EP 1598276 A1 and the EP 280659 A1 ,

Packaged goods, especially food, are increasingly being offered to consumers in plastic packaging today. These plastic packages have a packaging tray in which the packaged product is located and is enclosed by at least two plastic films. Often, however, these packages have the disadvantage that the sealed lid films are difficult to open by hand. In addition, the product can slip or fall out of the packaging tray when the cover film is jerkily removed. Moreover, the peelable film is poorly tangible because the films have the property of adhering to each other, e.g. by static charge, moisture or cold welding by cutting devices. Even the frequently used peel-off corners do not create any relief here and are often difficult to handle, especially by older people.

It is an object of the present invention to provide easier access to the peelable film and to provide plastic films with such ease of operation by means of a continuous packaging machine.

The object is solved by the subject matter of the independent claims, preferred embodiments are subject of the dependent claims or described below.

In such packaging machines, the lower film is withdrawn from a roll and cyclically transported with a film transport chain, also referred to as a clip chain or staple chain transported. In the possibly existing forming station, depressions are formed from the flat lower film. Packaging products are inserted manually or automatically into these hollows. After the packing with the packaging products, the top film is added, which is sealed in a sealing station on the lower film, so as to create closed containers. The upper film for closing the packages is brought from above to the lower film and is subsequently parallel to the lower film, to be guided to the sealing tool. The sealing takes place on the substantially flat edges that surround the shaped hollows of the lower film. If several product layers are desired, several top films can also be fed, each in front of a sealing station.

According to one embodiment, the present invention relates to a plastic packaging with a peel-off zone comprising a packaging tray and at least one first and one second film, wherein both films are at least partially peelably sealed to the packaging tray in the sealing region and both films have an overlapping region and at least in the overlapping region partially sealed together, the seal being peelable or peelable.

The peel-off zone (= peel-off zone) is the area of the plastic film packaging in which both or more films lie loosely on top of each other and at least one film can be grasped by grasping behind in order to remove it from the further film by grasping and pulling it back. The peel-off zone is arranged outside the sealing seam in the edge region of the plastic film packaging and preferably as a peel-off corner (= peel-off corner).

The peel zone is pasted over with a label or the label is thermally welded, the label having an adhesive zone, hereafter referred to as an adhesive zone (including thermal fusing), and a neutralized zone which is non-adhesive or adhesive.

The adhesive zone lies on the peelable film, which usually represents the top film, in the area of the peel zone: the neutralized zone is in the form of an easily graspable flap. Now, if this tab is taken, the peelable film from the other film, which is preferably formed in the form of a packaging tray, easily detected and completely or partially deducted.

For the welding of the labels devices can be used as you from the EP 1310431 B1 are known.

The label is preferably self-adhesive (adhesive label) and may be made of plastic or paper. With regard to the shape, it is largely freely designable. It is only important that after sticking results in a protruding non-adhesive tab.

The peel-off zone may be preceded or trailing with respect to the film travel direction. The position of the peel-off zone can be freely selected on the packaging.

  • Fig. 2 eine Kunststofffolienverpackung mit Etikett.
The invention is further illustrated by the figures, without being limited thereto. Show it:
  • Fig. 1 a section of a packaging machine with labeling and longitudinal and transverse cutters and
  • Fig. 2 a plastic film packaging with label.

In FIG. 1 a section of a packaging machine (1) is shown. Evident are the film (2) shown together as a lower and upper film held in a film transport chain (7). As a longitudinal direction the indicated direction of travel (14) is indicated. The film consists in the transverse direction of a composite of several individual packaging, in the present example, three individual packaging of plastic film packaging (2). With dots the imaginary cutting lines (5) of the individual packages are indicated. Also shown is the outside of the sealed seam (13) arranged peel-off corner (8). The peel-off corner is arranged ahead.

Transverse to the direction (14) of the packaging composite is separated by a cross-cutting device (3). After cyclically conveying, the cutting line (6) introduced by the cross-cutting device (3) arrives at the labeling device (12). Here labels (9) are glued so that the adhesive zone (10) on the peel zone (8) rests, while the neutralized, non-adhesive or adhesive area (11) of the labels (9) overlapping in the packaging of individual packages of the preceding Plastic film packaging (2) is sufficient and covers the cutting line of the cross cutting device.

If the labels (9) are glued, they are cyclically conveyed into an area in which longitudinal cutting devices (4) singulate the three individual packages, whereby each individual packaging is provided with a label (9) and has a protruding neutralized area (11) as a tab. The labels (9) were previously applied outside the cutting area of the slitters.

Such a scattered plastic packaging is in FIG. 2 shown. Here it can be seen that the sealing seam (13) circumferentially forming an inner sealing area enclosing the packaged product and excludes the peel-off corner and thereby rotates. The neutralized area (11) is shaded gray, the Klebereich (10) is kept bright. The label is placed so that the adhesive area does not extend beyond the edge of the plastic film packaging.
