Definitions
- the present invention relates to the assembly of a filter and a ring.
- Such an assembly is for example used for a circulating pump with a motor with a drowned rotor.
- a circulation pump can be used in installations where a fluid such as water is circulated by the pump.
- the pump is driven by a motor.
- the motor may be of the wet rotor type. In such a flooded motor, a fluid flows in a recess in the rotor. It may be the fluid circulated by the pump.
- the fluid flowing in the rotor cavity may contain abrasive particles. These particles can damage the engine. These particles may, for example, come from the fluid itself or the wear of the parts. There is then a need to filter the fluid.
- the use of a filter imposes mechanical and construction constraints.
- a means of improving the filtering is to use a filter disposed on the rotor, the filter being in frictional contact with the rotor.
- this means prematurely wears the parts by friction.
- a second drawback is the accentuation of the wear of the parts.
- an assembly comprising a filter, and a ring mounted on the filter, the ring being adjustable radially in position relative to the filter.
- the ring is mounted on the filter with a predetermined radial clearance.
- the ring is locked in rotation with respect to the filter.
- the filter comprises notches, and the ring comprises lugs extending radially in the notches.
- the ring comprises a body and lugs, the filter being between the lugs and the body.
- the filter is made of stainless steel or bronze.
- the ring is made of plastic.
- a motor comprising a stator, a rotor driven in rotation by the stator, and the assembly, the rotor adjusting in position the ring relative to the filter.
- the motor comprises a loop for passing a fluid into the rotor, the filter being arranged in the loop.
- the motor the ring is in frictional contact on the rotor.
- the motor comprises a flange for guiding the rotor in rotation, the filter being held in position by its periphery by the flange.
- the pump comprises a turbine driven in rotation by the rotor, the turbine being adapted to create a flow of fluid by centrifugation, the motor comprising a loop for passing a fluid through the rotor, the filter being disposed in the loop, and the centrifugation of the fluid by the turbine driving the fluid in the loop.
- the ring is adjustable radially in position relative to the filter. This makes it possible to ensure optimization of the filtering while ensuring good positioning of the filter in an engine for example.
- the ring is freely adjustable radially to the filter. This freedom allows the ring to be put in place when the engine is started.
- the ring makes it possible to position the filter on the rotor of the motor.
- the ring allows to limit the wear of the filter itself.
- the figure 1 describes a view of a filter 1.
- the filter 1 is disk-shaped, but it could have other shapes, square, oval, for example.
- the filter 1 may be stainless steel or bronze or any other material having oxidation kinetics at least as slow as stainless steel or bronze.
- the filter 1 can bathe in an oxidizing fluid. The materials envisaged then make it possible to increase the service life.
- the filter 1 is of the same shape as the cavity which receives it so as to ensure optimal filtering.
- the filter 1 has an orifice 120 at its center.
- the orifice 120 is intended to allow the mounting of a ring 2 to the filter.
- the orifice 120 is also intended to pass in its center a motor rotor (or a shaft driven by a motor rotor) to allow mounting of the filter on the rotor.
- Around the orifice 120 comprises notches 11. The notches 11 guide the radial movement of the ring 2 as will be explained below.
- the figure 2 describes a view of the ring 2.
- the ring 2 is adapted to be mounted on the filter 1.
- the ring 2 comprises an orifice 121 allowing the passage of the rotor (or a shaft driven by a motor rotor).
- the ring is made of material allowing the sliding on the rotor passing through it, which limits the friction. This extends the life of the elements. Lower wear implies in the long run to limit the creation of a game allowing particles to pass. Lower wear therefore implies more efficient filtering.
- the sliding of the ring 2 on the element therethrough also preserves the efficiency of the engine.
- the ring 2 is made of material having an oxidation kinetics adapted for immersion in a fluid.
- the material used is also softer than the material of the rotor.
- plastics or composites can be used.
- the ring 2 is made of plastic or any other material having the same aforementioned advantages.
- the assembly makes it possible to replace the ring while preserving the filter. This allows less expensive maintenance operations.
- the ring 2 comprises lugs 21 extending radially around its periphery.
- the lugs 21 serve to guide the ring 2 in the notches 11 of the filter 11 which the ring 2 is mounted.
- the figure 3 describes a view of the ring 2 mounted on the filter 1.
- the filter and the ring can thus have a relative movement in their plane.
- the filter and the ring may have a relative movement in a direction transverse to the rotor passing through the assembly constituted by the filter and the ring. in their plane.
- the cooperation of the lugs 21 with the notches 11 allows the radial mobility of the ring 2 relative to the filter 1.
- the notches 11 allow the ring 2 which is mounted on the filter 1 to have a predetermined radial clearance.
- the game can be controlled.
- the calibrated clearance between the notches 11 and the pins 21 pre-determines the maximum radial stroke of the ring 2. This clearance allows the dynamic compensation of imperfections of the rotor constructions on which the filter 1 and the ring 2 are mounted.
- the lugs 211 1 cooperate with the notches 11 so as to adjust the ring 2 radially relative to the filter 1.
- the lugs 212 make it possible to fix the filter 1 axially to the ring 2.
- the lugs 212 make it possible to retain the filter 1 at the ring 2 along the rotor extending through the openings 120 and 121.
- the lugs 212 are offset along the rotor with respect to the lugs 211, so as to create a space between the lugs 211 and a body 60 of the ring 2. According to the figure 3 the filter is trapped between the lugs 212 and the body 60.
- the lugs 211 allow a radial displacement of the filter 1 with respect to the ring 2 thanks to the clearance between the bottom of the notches 11 and the lugs 211.
- the mounting of the ring 2 on the filter 1 can be as follows. First, the lugs 212 are placed opposite the notches 11. The ring 2 is then pressed against the filter 1 transversely to the plane of the ring 2. In particular, the body 60 of the ring 2 is plated against the filter 1. The ring 2 is then rotated. The filter 1 is inserted between the lugs 212 and the body 60. The rotation is operated until the lugs 211 are in front of the notches 11. Such an assembly allows the filter 1 to be caught between the body 60 of the ring 2 and the pins 212. The filter 1 and the ring 2 are thus secured and the movement of one relative to the other along the rotor 40 is prohibited.
- the lugs 21 may be on the filter or on the ring, the notches 11 being on the other element.
- the figure 4 describes a pump section 3 comprising the assembly of the figure 3 .
- the pump 3 comprises a motor 8.
- the motor 8 comprises a stator 41 and a rotor 40.
- the rotor 40 is rotated by the stator 41 in a rotor cavity 5.
- a turbine 6 is fixed on one end of the rotor 40.
- the rotor drives the turbine 6 in rotation.
- the turbine 6 serves as a volute centrifuge. Centrifugation allows the circulation of the fluid in a pipe 80 according to the arrow 81.
- the motor 8 may comprise a loop 42 for fluid passage.
- the loop 42 circulates the fluid in the rotor cavity 5 and in the rotor 40.
- the loop 42 serves to embed the rotor 40.
- the loop 42 allows the lubrication of the rotating parts of the engine and the turbine.
- the loop 42 also allows the reduction of the temperature generated by the engine in operation. Fluid circulation allows longer life of the rotating parts.
- the circulation of the fluid makes it possible to reduce the level of noise relative to the motor without circulation. In addition, this technology implies a reduced cost.
- the loop 42 extends from an inlet 301 to the outlet 302 through the filter 1 provided with the ring 2, a flange 70 having a hole 71, the rotor cavity 5 and the rotor 40 having a recess 43. along its axis 44.
- the recess 43 opens radially into the rotor cavity 5 and longitudinally at one end of the rotor 40.
- the inlet 301 of the loop 42 is connected to the pipe 80.
- the outlet 302 of the loop 42 is also connected to the pipe 80.
- the output 302 of the loop 42 opens into the turbine 6. This arrangement of the inlet and the outlet of the loop 42 makes it possible to divert the fluid in the loop 42.
- the circulation of the fluid in the pipe 80 by the turbine 6 causes the derivation of the fluid to the inlet 301 and the circulation of the fluid in the Loop 42.
- the fluid is reinjected at the loop outlet 42 in the pipe 80 in the center of the turbine.
- the filter 1 is mounted generally, but not necessarily, on the rotor.
- the filter 1 is in the loop 42.
- the filter 1 is upstream of the loop 42, that is to say between the inlet 301 and the flange 70. This position makes it possible to filter the fluid entering the loop 42 and circulating in the rotor cavity 5 and the rotor 40. This avoids the wear of the rotor 40 by abrasive particles suspended in the fluid.
- the circulation of fluid induced by the turbine 6 in the loop 42 does not allow the fluid to flow in the opposite direction. Any fluid enters the loop 42 through the inlet 301 and is filtered by the filter 1.
- Figure 5 describes a detailed view of the assembly of the figure 3 mounted on the rotor 40.
- the flange 70 keeps the rotor in the rotor cavity 5 and guide it in rotation by bearings 75.
- the flange 70 has one or more holes 71 allowing the flow of fluid through the flange 70.
- the filter 1 is force-fitted on the flange 70.
- the ring 2 can rest against the bearing 75 in the direction of flow of the fluid in the loop 42.
- the filter 1 is held in the loop 42 by its periphery against the flange 70 and in its central part by the ring 2 against the bearing 75.
- the filter is held at the ring 2 in the direction of flow of the fluid in the loop 42 by the lugs 212.
- the filter 1 is thus kept fixed in rotation around the rotor and fixed in translation in the direction of flow of the fluid in the loop 42.
- the ring 2 is in friction on the rotor 40. This reduces the passage of particles on the periphery or in the center of the filter. Thus the filtering of the filter 1 is improved.
- the rotation of the rotor 40 ensures the dynamic placement of the ring 2.
- the radially movable ring 2 adapts to the imperfections of the motor 8.
- the imperfections are, inter alia, the eccentricity of the rotor 40 and the vibratory movements induced by the rotation of it.
- the rotor 40 reaches a stationary speed enabling the ring 2 to be placed in relation to the filter 1.
- the axis 44 around which the rotor 40 is rotated may be slightly shifted transversely until finding its stationary position.
- the transverse displacement of the rotor 40 is compensated at the filter 1 by the ring 2 which adjusts radially in position relative to the filter 1 by the clearance between the ring 2 and the filter 1.

Abstract
Description
-
figure 1 , une vue d'un filtre; -
figure 2 , une vue d'une bague ; -
figure 1 décrit une vue d'un filtre 1.
figure 2 décrit une vue de la bague 2.
