Definitions
- the invention relates to a Studentsrundumetikett for labeling containers, having at least one layer of material having an at least partially adhesive bottom and an information-carrying top.
- the invention also relates to a container which is connected to such a label.
- EP 0946936 B1 A label of the type mentioned is out EP 0946936 B1 known.
- This document describes a label with several separable document sections.
- the label is larger than the circumference of the container on which the label is to be applied. Thus, after dispensing, the label comes to rest on itself at least partially.
- the label To provide the removable document parts, the label must be provided according to this document with a special substructure, which gives the label a required stability and allows removal of the document parts.
- Removable document sections of which at least two are usually provided, usually carry only an expiration date and a batch number.
- a single document section must have a minimum size that enables the convenient handling of the document section (separation of the self-adhesive document section and pasting into a documentation document). Since these document sections are usually machine-printed by the pharmaceutical manufacturers shortly before the label is dispensed onto a container, the document sections must be printed also have a size that allows a certain error tolerance in the placement of the print. Lately, the pharmaceutical manufacturers are increasingly desired labels that have not only two, but three or more document sections. All this leads to the fact that in small containers easily overwhelming part of the lateral surface of the container for the document sections is lost to some extent and for other, in medical terms particularly important information, hardly any space is available.
- the object of the invention is to provide a label with a theoretically unlimited number of nachbeschriftbaren, easily deducted documentation parts.
- the area of the shell of a container usually limits the number of removable parts.
- products in multi-dose containers require a large number of re-writable removable parts.
- the label must comply with the legal provisions on labeling, that is, all essential components must be retained, even if parts of the label must be removed again and again during use.
- the handling of the product and the label must be easy to communicate even untrained persons without special knowledge about the use.
- the label must be fully automatic on existing dispensing systems in its entirety.
- the surface of all removable parts and also the information part must be nachbeschriftbar, for example in thermal transfer printing or with a laser printer.
- the material layer has at least one punched-out sheet which can be folded out of the material layer.
- the label When passing through the dispenser with the printing of all data (e.g., expiration date and lot number), the label is placed around the container several times. After labeling, the label can be opened and the sheet or sheets are raised to reveal all parts. Through appropriate punching lines of weakness can be generated, with the help of which the required amount of removable parts is generated. The label is closed again after each removal procedure. Further advantageous embodiments can be found in the dependent claims.
- Overslip label shown has a material layer 1, which is at least partially coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive on its underside.
- a rectangular sheet 3 is generated, which is connected via a fold line 4 with the remaining material layer 1.
- the sheet 3 can be folded out of the material layer 1 or placed, where it is rotated about the fold line 4, via which it remains connected to the material layer 1, is rotated.
- the sheet 3 is divided by several lines of weakness 5 into strips, which can be separated one by one or several to be used for documentation purposes.
- the weakening lines 5 are realized in the example by perforation punches. Other types of weakening lines, for example, at least partial scoring of the film layer or the like are also possible.
- the L-shaped punching 2 has a first portion 2a, which extends transversely, for example perpendicular to the main extension direction x of the label. Im in FIG. 1 In the embodiment shown, the first section 2a of the L-shaped punching runs transversely or perpendicularly to the bottom 1a of the material layer 1 extending from left to right. A second section 2b of the L-shaped punching runs transversely, for example perpendicular to the first section 2a and in the embodiment parallel to said edge 1a of the material layer 1. The fold line 4 in turn extends transversely, for example perpendicular to said edge 1a of the material layer 1 and thus in the embodiment parallel to the first section 2a of the L-shaped punching.
- the perforation lines 5 formed as perforations in the example they alternate along the respective weakening line stamped sections and non-stamped sections.
- the L-shaped punching 2 is a continuous punching along the entire L-shape, in which the material layer 1 runs continuously along the entire line 2a, 2b of the L-shape from the fold line 4 to the end edge 1b of the material web 1 shown above and completely severed. Therefore, the rectangular sheet 3 can be bent out of the sheet of material along the line of the L-shape 2, being pivoted about the folding line 4.
- a second sheet 3a is punched in a similar manner as the sheet 3.
- the L-shaped punching which is the edge of the rectangular sheet 3a, is not in the form of a continuous punching (as in the sheet 3), but carried out by a perforation punching.
- the sheet 3a is divided into strips by a plurality of weakening lines 5a, which can be separated one by one or more to be used for documentation purposes.
- the weakening lines 5 are also realized by perforation punches or the like.
- the pressure-sensitive adhesive coating in the region of the sheet 3a is covered by a film piece or another covering medium, for example a suitable paper, not shown, in order to prevent the separable strips defined by the weakening lines 5a from permanently bonding to a container to which the overlay label is affixed.
- a film piece or another covering medium for example a suitable paper, not shown
- a third area of the overlapping label serves as a closure part 8 and has a grip tab 9 at the end.
- the Sprintmandakukan has a length which in the example is slightly more than three times the circumference of the container to be labeled.
- the area 3a and the sheet 3 are approximately offset by a container circumference u or offset by the distance u, where u is the circumference of the cross section of the container 6 (FIG. FIG. 2 ).
- the material layer 1 is punched on one of its longitudinal sides in such a way that it has a widening 10, 10a in the region of the sheets 3 and 3a, such that the two said sheets 3 and 3a in a sense protrude beyond the remaining edge line.
- the underside adhesive coating is recessed in the region 3 and in the central region of the closure part 8 or by covering or overprinting ineffective.
- the edge region of the closure part 8, on which the gripping tab 9 is located is provided on the underside with effective pressure-sensitive adhesive in order to be able to close the overlapping label, as explained below.
- the top side of the sheets 3 and 3a can be provided with an adhesive-repellent coating in order to permanently glue the two sheets 3 and 3a together and gluing the sheet together when the over-label is applied to a container to prevent with the closure part 8.
- FIG. 2 shows in perspective a cylindrical container 6, with the in FIG. 1 tagged over label, with the overlay label partially subtracted.
- the labeling of the container 6 is done in such a way that the in FIG. 1
- the left edge of the material layer 1 is glued to the container 6, such that the left edge of the material layer 1 extends parallel to the axial direction of the container 6.
- the label is beaten three times around the container 6, wherein the parts coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive are firmly connected to the container 6.
- the sheet 3 a lies directly on the container 6. Since the sheet 3 is offset from the sheet 3a by a circumferential distance u or slightly larger than a circumferential distance u, the sheet 3 is directly above the sheet 3a.
- the two sheets 3 and 3a are not glued together.
- the closure part 8 Directly above the sheet 3 is the closure part 8. Also between the closure part 8 and the sheet 3 is no, at least no permanent connection. Since the sheet 3 is separated by the L-shaped punching line 2 and is connected only via the fold line 4 with the rest of the material layer 1, the sheet of the material layer 1 can be folded out. The L-shaped punching creates a rectangular sheet 3.
- the punching line can also have a different shape, but at least it must extend from the fold line 4 to the edge 1 b of the material web 1. It would also be conceivable to have a punching line which contains a circular section or a curve having other curves and / or corners under the boundary condition given above.
- the sheet 3 is due to the broadening 10 of the material layer 1, so that even when wound (closed) Kochrundumetikett can be seen whether the sheet 3 is wholly or partially still present.
- the sheet 3a is due to the widening 10 a over the edge of the closure part 8 before.
- the broadening 10a is not visible in the drawing, because it is covered by the widening 10 of the sheet 3, as long as the sheet 3 is still fully present.
- FIG. 3 shows a second embodiment of a Studentsrundumetiketts according to the invention in plan view. Unlike the in FIG. 1 The embodiment shown in FIG. 3 shown embodiment a total of five leaves, one of which (sheet 3d) is punched out with a perforation punching, while the remaining leaves 3, 3a, 3b, 3c are separated with an L-shaped continuous punching 2 from the material layer. With reference to the embodiment of FIG. 3 It should be made clear that the number of leaves is not limited to two.
- the overlay label is applied to a container by wrapping six times. In practice, it should be noted that the scope of the container is increased by the material layer at each wrapping, depending on the thickness of the material layer.
- an offset of the leaves can be accepted or the Sprintupmetikett can be designed so that the distance between the leaves increases progressively in accordance with the increase of the actual circumference.
- the size u shown in the drawing is therefore not to be construed as a constant, but represents the actual amount, which can be calculated from the actual circumference or radius of the container, plus the thickness of the already applied layers.
- the plurality of illustrated magnitudes u are thus slightly increased from left to right, with the increase resulting from the increasing thickness due to the number of underlying layers of the label wound on the container.
- FIG. 4 shows a third embodiment of a Studentsrundumetiketts according to the invention.
- the label shown in plan view consists of a material layer 1, which is coated on its underside with pressure-sensitive adhesive.
- a rectangular sheet 3 is generated, which is connected via a fold line 4 with the rest of the material web 1.
- the sheet 3 is positioned on the material layer 1 so that an edge strip remains in each case to the two longitudinal edges of the material layer 1.
- the sheet 3 is divided by several lines of weakness 5 in strip-shaped areas, which can be separated individually or to several.
- the weakening lines 5 are realized in the example by perforation punches. Other types of weakening lines are also possible, as related to FIG. 1 described.
- the U-shape has two mutually parallel or nearly parallel second sections 2b, 2c, which are connected to one another via a transversely or perpendicular thereto extending first portion 2a with each other.
- the second section 2a of the U-shape extends parallel or nearly parallel to the fold line 4.
- the sections 2b, 2c extend parallel or nearly parallel to the side edges of the material layer 1 extending in the longitudinal direction x.
- FIG. 4 how out FIG. 4 it can be seen, two further sheets 3a and 3b are provided, which have the same outline as the sheet 3, but in contrast to the sheet 3 are not divided by lines of weakness.
- the sheets 3a and 3b remain completely and permanently in the overlapping label and are usually printed with instructions for use or the like.
- the leaves, which are adhesive-free at the bottom and at the top, can be printed with information both at the top and at the bottom.
- the underside adhesive coating is recessed in the central region of the closure part 8 or rendered ineffective by covering or overprinting.
- the edge region of the closure part 8, on which the gripping tab 9 is located is provided on the underside with effective pressure-sensitive adhesive in order to be able to close the overlapping label, as explained below.
- the top side of the leaf 3 could be provided with an adhesive-repellent coating, for example a siliconization.
- the Studentsrundumetikett has a length which in the example is slightly more than four times the circumference of the container to be labeled.
- the leaves 3, 3a and 3b are each offset approximately by a container circumference against each other.
- FIG. 5 shows in plan view a cylindrical container 6, with the in FIG. 1 tagged label is labeled.
- the labeling of the container 6 is done in such a way that the in FIG. 4 the left edge of the material layer 1 is glued to the container 6, such that the left edge of the material layer 1 extends in the axial direction of the container.
- the label is beaten four times around the container 6, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive coated parts are firmly connected to the container 6.
- the sheet 3b lies directly on the container 6. Since the sheet 3a is offset from the sheet 3b by a circumferential distance u, the sheet 3a is directly above the sheet 3b. In the same way, the sheet 3 rests on the sheet 3a.
- the sheets 3a and 3b are free of adhesive both on their underside and on their upper side, they are not glued together.
- the closure part 8 Directly above the sheet 3 is the closure part 8. Also between the closure part 8 and the sheet 3 is no, at least no permanent adhesive bond. Since the leaves separated by a rough outline in the U-shaped punching 2 from the material layer 1 and only along the fold line 4 with the material layer 1 remain, the leaves 3, 3a, 3b are foldable out of the material layer 1.
- FIG. 5 shows the Sprint-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding-The like.
- the third sheet 3 serves to provide tear-off strips for documentation purposes. After reading the information and / or removing a strip, the "booklet" can be closed again, since - as already mentioned - the edge region of the closure part in the vicinity of the grip tab 9 is provided on the underside with pressure-sensitive adhesive.
- more or all of the sheets could be provided with lines of weakness such as sheet 3, or all sheets could be made as plain sheets of information such as sheets 3a and 3b. Also, a total of more than three or less than three sheets could be provided.
- FIG. 6 shows a fourth embodiment of a Studentsrundumetiketts according to the invention in plan view.
- the label shown in plan view consists of a material layer 1, which is coated on its underside with pressure-sensitive adhesive.
- the sheets 3, 3a, 3 b and 3 c are positioned on the material layer 1 so that an edge strip remains in each case to the two longitudinal edges of the material layer 1.
- the leaves 3, 3a, 3b and 3c remain completely and permanently in the overlapping label and are usually printed with instructions for use or the like.
- the leaves, which are adhesive-free at the bottom and at the top, can be printed with information both at the top and at the bottom.
- the Studentsrundumetikett on a closure part 8 which is provided at the end with a grip tab 9.
- the underside adhesive coating is recessed in the central region of the closure part 8 or rendered ineffective by covering or overprinting.
- the edge region of the closure part 8, on which the grip tab 9 is located is provided on the underside with effective pressure-sensitive adhesive in order to close the Kochrundumetikett can.
- the top side of the leaf 3 could be provided with an adhesive-repellent coating.
- the Sprintmandakukan has a length which in the example is slightly more than three times the circumference of the container to be labeled.
- the blades 3, 3a, 3b and 3c are each offset approximately by half the circumference of a container u / 2.
- FIG. 7 shows in plan view a cylindrical container 6, with the in FIG. 6 tagged label is labeled.
- the labeling of the container 6 happens in the way that the in FIG. 4 the left edge of the material layer 1 is glued to the container 6, such that the left edge of the material layer 1 extends in the axial direction of the container.
- the label is beaten three times around the container 6, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive coated parts are firmly connected to the container 6.
- the sheet 3c lies directly on the container 6. Since the sheet 3b is offset from the sheet 3c by a half circumferential distance u / 2, the sheet 3b is diametrically opposed to the sheet 3c.
- the sheet 3a rests on the sheet 3c because it is offset from it by a whole circumference (u / 2 + u / 2).
- the sheet 3 lies on the sheet 3b, because it is offset from it by a whole circumference.
- the closure part lies over the sheet 3. Since it has a length of a whole circumference, it covers all the sheets 3, 3a, 3b, 3c when closed.
- the sheets 3a and 3b are free of adhesive both on their underside and on their upper side, they are not glued together.
- the closure part 8 Directly above the sheet 3 and the sheet 3a is the closure part 8. Also between the closure part 8 and the sheet 3 is no, at least no permanent adhesive bond. Since the sheets are separated from the material layer 1 by a punched-out cut U-shaped in the rough outline 2 and remain connected to the material layer 1 only along the fold line 4, the sheets 3, 3a, 3b, 3c can be folded out of the material layer 1.
- FIG. 7 shows the Sprint-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding-Fielding
- FIG. 8 shows a fifth embodiment of a Studentsrundumetiketts according to the invention in plan view.

- the top side of the leaf 3 can be provided with an adhesive-repellent coating.
- the Studentsrundumetikett has a length which in the example is slightly more than three times the circumference of the container to be labeled.
- the sheets 3, 3a, 3b and 3c are each offset approximately by half a container circumference u / 2 against each other.
- the sheets 3, 3a, 3b and 3c have, measured from the fold line 4 in the longitudinal direction of the Matterrundumetikett a length of almost one quarter of the circumference of the container.
- FIG. 9 shows in plan view a container 6, with the in FIG. 8 tagged label is labeled.
- the cross section of the container 6 is square in shape in the basic form, in each case with rounded corners. Alternatively, the cross section could also be rectangular with rounded corners or without substantially rounded corners.
- the labeling of the container 6 is done in such a way that the in FIG. 8 bottom edge of the material layer 1 is glued to the container 6, such that the lower edge of the material layer 1 extends in the axial direction of the container.
- the label is beaten three times around the container 6, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive coated parts are firmly connected to the container 6.
- the sheet 3c lies directly on the container 6.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a Überrundumetikett for labeling containers, having at least one layer of material having an at least partially adhesive bottom and an information-carrying top. The invention also relates to a container which is connected to such a label.

Especially in the medical field, there is an increasing need to provide extensive information on the label of a small container. In this case, despite the comparatively small amount of information that it carries, a single document section must have a minimum size that enables the convenient handling of the document section (separation of the self-adhesive document section and pasting into a documentation document). Pharmaceutical products requiring documentation are generally offered in so-called single-dose containers. They can be equipped with removable parts that can be inscribed. However, there are also very large so-called multi-dose containers, both for vaccines and for other products such as anesthetics, from which up to ten portions are removed. Also in this case a documentation with one or two removable parts is desired. All previously known versions fail in the task of providing sufficient space for an even larger number of removable parts available, which can be re-labeled in the dispenser with lot number and expiration date. In general, the number is limited by the size of the container.
The object of the invention is to provide a label with a theoretically unlimited number of nachbeschriftbaren, easily deducted documentation parts. The area of the shell of a container usually limits the number of removable parts. However, products in multi-dose containers require a large number of re-writable removable parts. Here's the desire for up to twenty or so even more removable parts exist. During use, ie over a relatively long period of time, the label must comply with the legal provisions on labeling, that is, all essential components must be retained, even if parts of the label must be removed again and again during use. The handling of the product and the label must be easy to communicate even untrained persons without special knowledge about the use. The label must be fully automatic on existing dispensing systems in its entirety. The surface of all removable parts and also the information part must be nachbeschriftbar, for example in thermal transfer printing or with a laser printer.
This object is achieved in that the material layer has at least one punched-out sheet which can be folded out of the material layer.
When passing through the dispenser with the printing of all data (e.g., expiration date and lot number), the label is placed around the container several times.
