  • the output transducer is usually used as an electroacoustic transducer, z. As miniature speaker, or as an electromechanical transducer, z. B. bone conduction, realized.
  • the amplifier is usually integrated in a signal processing unit. This basic structure is in FIG. 1 shown using the example of a behind-the-ear hearing aid. In a hearing aid housing 1 for Carrying behind the ear, one or more microphones 2 are installed for recording the sound from the environment.
  • a signal processing unit 3 which is also integrated in the hearing aid housing 1, processes the microphone signals and amplifies them.
  • the output signal of the signal processing unit 3 is transmitted to a loudspeaker or earpiece 4, which outputs an acoustic signal.
  • the sound is optionally transmitted via a sound tube, which is fixed with an earmold in the ear canal, to the eardrum of the device carrier.
  • the power supply of the hearing device and in particular the signal processing unit 3 is effected by a likewise integrated into the hearing aid housing 1 battery. 5
  • Hearing aids usually have a battery compartment in which the hearing aid battery is housed.
  • This battery compartment can usually swing out of the hearing aid housing. In an open position of the battery compartment, the battery can be removed from the battery compartment. In the closed position of the battery compartment, the battery compartment is pivoted into the housing and the battery is in contact with the hearing aid electronics.
  • the battery compartment often has a small projection whose purpose is to be able to open the battery compartment easily with your fingernail.
  • the inadvertent or unwanted opening of the battery compartment of a hearing aid should be prevented. This is necessary to prevent the possible ingestion of the battery in the battery compartment by a toddler.
  • hearing aids are known in which a force of less than 10 N is sufficient to open the battery compartment.
  • This known solution consists of a displaceable in the axial direction by means of a small screwdriver bolt which is mounted on an axle. Latch and axle are part of the battery compartment, which also holds the battery. The bolt receives its abutment through one of two housing pins, which can also be used for switching on / off the hearing aid by means of battery compartment.
  • the object of the present invention is thus to better lock the battery compartment of a hearing device against unwanted opening.
  • a housing for a hearing aid with a battery compartment which is mounted on the housing and is movable to an open position and a closed position, a projection which is fixedly mounted on the housing, and a securing element for preventing movement of the battery compartment
  • said Secured to the battery compartment and is pivotable between a secured position and a Entêttposition the fuse element engages the projection in the secured position and the closed position of the battery compartment so that the battery compartment is not movable into the open position
  • the securing element has a pocket in the the secured position with a tool for moving the securing element in the armed position is tangible.
  • the securing element is pivotally mounted in corresponding holes in the battery compartment.
  • the securing element prevents movement of the battery compartment in the secured position. Only when the fuse element is pivoted from the secured to the unlocked position by using a tool engages in the pocket of the securing element, the securing element is no longer in engagement with the projection of the housing, and the battery compartment can be opened.
  • the securing element in the secured position is substantially flush with the surface of the battery compartment.
  • the fuse element does not interfere with the operation of the hearing aid from the battery compartment.
  • a recess may be formed in the battery compartment, through which alone the pocket of the securing element can be reached with the tool.
  • the recess limited by the securing element on the surface of the battery compartment can form a slot whose maximum extent is at most 3 mm and in particular 2 mm or less.
  • the battery compartment can be locked in the closed position with the securing element in the unlocked position.
  • the battery compartment can be pivotally mounted on the housing. This provides a robust mechanism to open or close the battery compartment.
  • the securing element may have a holding surface, which bears against the projection of the housing in the secured position of the securing element and by less than 30 ° relative to a plane in which a contact point of the securing element with the projection and the pivot axis of the battery compartment. preferably less than 10 °, is inclined. Due to this inclination, the securing element is pulled firmly into the secured position when an attempt is made to open the battery compartment, but the securing element is in the secured position. In addition, it is possible by this low inclination locking of the fuse element to a round housing projection.
  • the securing element may have a pressure surface against which the projection of the housing presses when the battery compartment is moved in the closed position, so that the securing element is pressed into the unlocked position becomes. This gives the user a tactile or visual signal that the battery compartment is not yet secured when it has closed.
  • the securing element may also have a stop which stops the movement of the securing element when pivoting in the unlocked position. This can ensure that the fuse element can only be swung out of the battery compartment to a certain extent.
  • a battery compartment 10 is shown as a one-piece injection molded part. Furthermore, the figure shows in exploded view a securing element and a shaft or a pin 30, with which the securing element 20 can be pivotally attached to the battery compartment 10.
  • the battery compartment 10 is formed substantially pot-shaped to accommodate a button battery can.
  • a handle member 12 by means of which a user can open the battery compartment 10 with his fingernail.
  • Below the grip element 12 the battery compartment on two pocket-shaped recesses 13, which are open to the end faces of the approximately cylindrical battery compartment 10.
  • both recesses 13 are open in the circumferential direction with respect to a circle about the pivot axis of the battery compartment.
  • a projection or pin will penetrate when closing the battery compartment.
  • the recesses 13 each have a projection 16 which protrudes from the inner surface of the recesses 13 and extends parallel to the axis of the cylindrical battery compartment 10.
  • the two recesses 13 are at least partially separated approximately in the axial center of the battery compartment 10 by a radially extending wall 17.
  • the wall 17 also serves to stabilize the grip element 12.
  • the battery compartment 10 has, relative to the center axis of the battery compartment, radially over the recesses 13 and in the circumferential direction slightly offset from the gripping element 12 a shaft 14 which is open to the outside and to the recesses 13.
  • the securing element 20 can be flush.
  • the securing element 20 is pivotally mounted in corresponding holes 15 of the battery compartment 10.
  • the battery compartment 10 has a recess 18 directly on the shaft 14.
  • the securing element 20 Together with the securing element 20, it forms a slot in its secured position, into which only a small screwdriver can be inserted. However, the slot is too small, so that a child can not reach into the pocket 23 of the securing element 20 with his fingers or penetrate the teeth.
  • the securing element 20 here has two stops 24, which prevent the securing element 20 from being arbitrarily swung out of the battery compartment 10.
  • There are two stops 24 are provided in this example, because between them runs in the inserted state of the fuse element 20, the wall 17 of the battery compartment 10. In principle, of course, a stop is sufficient to achieve the desired function.
  • the stops 24 strike in the unlocked position of the securing element 20 approximately below the grip member 12 at a portion of the battery compartment 10, as for example in connection with the Figures 5 and 7 will be explained in more detail.
  • the securing element 20 has a wedge-shaped Anformung 27 with retaining surfaces 25, of which in FIG. 2 only one can be seen from the back approach. These surfaces 25 extend approximately tangentially with respect to the pivot axis of the securing element 20. The holding surfaces 25 engage a projection or pin of the hearing aid housing when the battery compartment in the closed position and the securing element 20 are in the secured position, as explained in more detail below becomes.
  • the securing element 20 also has on the wedge-shaped projections 27 pressure surfaces 26 which cooperate with the projections of the hearing aid housing when the battery compartment 10 in the open position and the securing element 20 are in the secured position, while the battery compartment 10 is pivoted to the closed position.
  • the pressure surfaces have approximately at an angle of 40 ° to 60 ° relative to the holding surfaces, so that a holding surface 25 and a corresponding pressure surface 26 each form a wedge (wedge-shaped projections 27) facing the center of the battery compartment 10.
  • FIG. 3 to FIG. 8 The function of the battery compartment is now based on the FIG. 3 to FIG. 8 explained in more detail. They are just the elements of FIG. 2 shown in the assembled state and electrical battery contacts 40 and additionally a pin or projection 50 of a hearing aid housing or a housing shell. In addition, a portion of a housing shell half 60 in the region of the battery compartment is indicated for orientation.
  • FIG. 3 shows the battery compartment 10 in the closed position in side view. This means that the central axis of the cylindrical battery compartment 10 extends approximately through the center of the battery contact 40.
  • the projection 50 of the second housing shell half, not shown, has penetrated to the bottom of the pocket-shaped recess 13 of the battery compartment 10. It limits the movement of the battery compartment 10 at the closed position.
  • the securing element 20, which is pivotally mounted on the pin 30, is in the secured position. This means that the battery compartment 10 is secured against accidental opening.
  • the retaining surface 25 of the securing element 20 engages behind the projection 50 of the housing or the housing shell half.
  • the holding surface 25 defines a plane on one side of the projection 50 and on the other side of the axis of rotation of the battery compartment 10 is located. Ie. this holding plane is slightly inclined relative to that which is spanned by the contact point or the contact surface between the holding surface 25 and projection 50 and the axis of rotation of the battery compartment 10.
  • This inclination ( ⁇ 30 °, in particular ⁇ 10 °, causes the wedge-shaped projection 27 with the retaining surface 25 of the securing element 20 to pull the entire securing element 20 even more strongly into the secured position when attempting to open the battery compartment 10.
  • the case is counteracted in that the securing element 20 is pressed into the unlocked position in an attempt to open the battery compartment 10.
  • the battery compartment of FIG. 3 is in FIG. 4 shown in an oblique view.
  • the operating surface 22 of the securing element 20 can be seen here. It is in the secured position flush with the surface of the battery compartment 10.
  • the securing element 20 forms with the recess 18 a slot through which a small screwdriver into the pocket 23 (in FIG. 4 not visible) of the securing element 20 can engage in order to move the securing element 20 in the unlocked position.
  • the battery compartment 10 is still shown in the closed position, ie, the projection 50 is located at the bottom of the pocket-shaped recess 13.
  • the fuse element 20 is pivoted out of the battery compartment 10 and is in the unlocked position.
  • the wedge-like projection 27 of the securing element 20 no longer engages behind the projection 50 of the housing.
  • the stop 24 bears against the wall of the pocket-shaped recess 13 below the grip element 12.
  • the projection 16 holds the battery compartment 10 still engaged in the closed position.
  • the battery compartment can be released with some pressure from this latching and the pocket-shaped recess 13 is open to the outside.
  • FIG. 6 is the condition of the battery compartment of FIG. 5 shown in the oblique view. While the representation of the projection 50 is omitted here, in the image, the pocket 23 of the securing element 20 can be seen well, in which a screwdriver can engage in order to unlock the securing element.
  • FIG. 7 is now shown the state that the battery compartment is moved from the closed position to an open position. This means that the projection 50 has been pressed over the projection 16 in the pocket-shaped recess 13 and is already here at the outlet of the recess 13.
  • FIG. 8 again shows the battery compartment 10 of FIG. 7 in an oblique view.
  • the battery compartment 10 is partially open, so that there is a clear gap between the grip element 12 and a portion 61 of the housing 60 or the housing shell half.
  • the hearing aid wearer can immediately tactile or visually recognize based on the position of the securing element 20 that the securing element 20 is in the unlocked position. In the secured position, the securing element 20 is in accordance with 3 to 4 flush with the surface.
  • the fuse element 20 which is initially in the secured position, does not prevent the closing of the battery compartment. This then engages through the projection 16 in the closed position and the securing element 20 can be pressed on the operating surface 22 in the secured position, which in FIG. 3 is shown.
  • the projections 50 projecting from both sides into the recesses 13 of the battery compartment 10 constitute an abutment to provide a sufficient holding force against forcible opening of the battery compartment.
  • the double-sided locking ensures a double securing force compared to a one-sided fuse.
