Die vorliegende Erfindung beruht auf dem allgemeinen Gedanken, anstelle der lauten und starke Vibrationen hervorrufenden Schwingkolbenpumpe eine deutlich leisere und vibrationsärmere Zahnradpumpe einzusetzen. Die Pumpeneinrichtung zur Erzeugung eines hohen Drucks und einer hohen Flussrate einer Flüssigkeit bspw. von Wasser beim Brühen eines Kaffees, ist somit erfindungsgemäß als Zahnradpumpe ausgebildet. Generell ist dabei die Zahnradpumpe eine Unterart einer Verdrängerpumpe und besteht im Wesentlichen aus folgenden drei Komponenten; einem Gehäuse mit einem Zu- und einem Ablauf sowie zwei Zahnrädern, wovon eines angetrieben ist. Von besonderem Vorteil einer Zahnradpumpe ist deren gleichmäßige Förderleistung sowie ein vergleichsweise geräuscharmer Betrieb, der aufgrund der Rotationsbewegungen der Zahnräder im Vergleich zu einer Schwingkolbenpumpe deutlich weniger Vibrationen verursacht. Die mit einer derartigen Zahnradpumpe erreichbaren Drücke sowie Flussraten sind dabei für die Anwendung in einem Getränkeautomaten, insbesondere in einem Kaffeeautomaten, ausreichend, wobei im Vergleich zu den bisher eingesetzten Schwingkolbenpumpen zudem der große Vorteil einer exakten Dosierbarkeit besteht.The present invention is based on the general idea, instead of the loud and strong vibrations inducing oscillating piston pump to use a much quieter and lower vibration gear pump. Die Außenzahnradpumpe weist dabei üblicherweise eine sog. Evolventenverzahnung auf, bei welcher der Querschnitt einer Zahnflanke Teil einer mathematisch definierten Evolvente ist. Hierdurch kann gewährleistet werden, dass die sich im Eingriff stehenden Zähne entlang einer geraden Eingriffslinie berühren, wobei die evolventen Formen derartiger Zahnräder zudem einfacher zu fertigen ist als bspw. eine ebenfalls oftmals bei Zahnrädern verwendete Zykloidenform der Zahnflanken. Die Außenzahnradpumpe ist durch ihren einfachen Aufbau äußerst robust und darüber hinaus preiswert, wodurch sich erhebliche wirtschaftliche und qualitative Vorteile ergeben.In an advantageous development of the solution according to the invention, the pump device is designed as an external gear pump, so that the medium to be conveyed, in particular water, is transported in spaces between the teeth of the gear wheels and the housing. Bei der Sichelpumpe wird das zu fördernde Medium in den Räumen zwischen den Zahnlücken der beiden Zahnräder gefördert, wobei die Zähne durch die Sichel abgedichtet werden. Bei der Innenzahnradpumpe weist dabei der Zahnring deutlich mehr Zähne auf als das diesen treibende Zahnrad. Alternativ kann die Pumpeneinrichtung auch als Zahnringpumpe ausgebildet sein, wobei dann das zu fördernde Medium durch einen sich im Volumen verändernden Verdrängungsraum zwischen den Zahnlücken gefördert wird. Bei einer Zahnringpumpe weist der Zahnring üblicherweise einen Zahn mehr auf als das Innenrad und besitzt zudem üblicherweise eine sog. Trochoidenverzahnung. Die Innenzahnradpumpe und die Zahnringpumpe unterscheiden sich dabei lediglich in den Größenverhältnissen von Zahnrad und Zahnring. Weitere Bezeichnungen für eine Zahnringpumpe sind bspw. Eaton-Pumpe und Rotorpumpe, wobei bei letzterer Ausführungsform die Zahnräder als Rotoren bezeichnet werden.In an alternative embodiment, the pump device according to the invention as an internal gear pump, also called sickle pump, formed. Kunststoff stellt einen äußerst flexiblen und darüber hinaus kostengünstig einzusetzenden Werkstoff dar, wobei bei einer Zahnradpumpe mit Kunststoffzahnrädern darüber hinaus die Geräuschentwicklung deutlich reduziert werden kann. Selbstverständlich können dabei vorzugsweise auch sämtliche Komponenten der Zahnradpumpe, also sowohl alle Zahnräder als auch das Gehäuse aus Kunststoff ausgebildet sein, wodurch sich nochmals Kostenreduzierungen erzielen lassen.In an advantageous development of the solution according to the invention, the pump device has at least one gear made of plastic. Zusammenfassend lassen sich die wesentlichen Merkmale der erfindungsgemäßen Lösung wie folgt charakterisieren: Durch den Ersatz einer bisher in Getränkeautomaten eingesetzten Schwingkolbenpumpe durch eine erfindungsgemäße Zahnradpumpe, können prinzipiell folgende Vorteile erzielt werden:
- ein geringes Geräuschniveau,
- geringe bis gar keine Vibrationen,
- eine exakte Regelbarkeit und damit eine exakte Dosierung des zu fördernden Mediums,
- eine kostengünstige Pumpeinrichtung.
