Beabstandet von dem Kupplungsstück, welches typischerweise als Kupplungsring ausgebildet ist, befindet sich die eigentliche Volumisereinheitmit einer Mehrzahl längerer, von einer konkav und daher komplementär zur Wölbung des menschlichen Kopfes gewölbten Fläche parallel zueinander abragender Haarformfinger.
