Definitions
- the present invention relates to a dishwasher according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a dishwashing machine with pulsating nozzles wherein an arm has a plurality of nozzles which are supplied with each other via different channels.
- a channel is in connection with so-called auxiliary nozzles, wherein the supply of rinsing liquid to these auxiliary nozzles can be shut off via a valve. This ensures that the rinsing liquid exits pulsating and partially the spraying of rinsing liquid is avoided from the auxiliary nozzles.
- a dishwashing machine with a spray arm is known in which individual spray nozzles can be activated or deactivated without the use of additional actuators. Depending on the change in the pump pressure, a pulsation of the spraying of the dishes can be achieved in order to allow effective cleaning.
- elastic means are provided which can open and close the individual nozzles.
- the spray jet in the prior art nozzles always exits according to the nozzle opening. It is not intended that the spray jets be changed in geometry and therefore may not enter well in problem areas such as pots, sink corners or other hard to reach areas. Because despite the possibility of a pulsating operation, the geometry of the exiting spray jet remains predetermined.
- At least one spray arm is used, in which a rotating element generates pulsating sprays inside.
- a spray arm with spray nozzles is known whose spray jet characteristic can be changed via diaphragm-shaped actuating elements. For this purpose, a manual intervention of the user is required.
- the present invention poses the problem of providing a dishwasher in which the flushing liquid emerging in the spray jet can be at least partially adapted from simply constructed spray arms.
- a flow obstacle for changing the geometry of the spray jet is provided within the spray arm in front of at least one nozzle. It has been found that by a flow obstruction adjacent to the nozzle but within the spray arm, the geometry of the exiting spray jet can be changed so that it not only straight out of the spray arm, but also has other geometries, which increases the effectiveness of the cleaning performance. Because, in particular, by changing the geometry of the spray can also poorly accessible areas, as well as in pots or corners reach.
- the spray arm is designed as a hollow body and a flow obstacle is held on the opposite to the nozzle inner wall of the hollow body.
- defined flow channels are formed within the spray arm, so that the exiting fluid generates a spray jet in accordance with the design of the flow obstacle and the nozzle.
- the flow obstacle may protrude to just before the exit surface of the spray jet at the nozzle, for example in a range of less than 4 mm.
- the flow obstacle is movable relative to the adjacent nozzle.
- a plurality of nozzles are provided distributed over the spray arm, each associated with a flow obstacle.
- a suitable flow obstruction of the nozzle can be assigned depending on the seat of the nozzle.
- flow obstacles are advantageous, which produce a somewhat wider spray jet, while radially inner nozzles on the spray arm can produce a narrower, more powerful jet.
- the flow obstacle may preferably be formed as a pin with a rounded surface, so that there is a conical spray. It is also possible to form the flow obstruction as a V-shaped ramp, as a helix, or as a pin to produce a particular spray.
- a spray arm 1 is arranged in a washing compartment of a dishwasher, not shown in more detail. It is designed as a hollow body 2 and provided centrally at a central opening with a connection 3 for connection to a pipe system of the dishwasher. Thus, rinsing fluid can be pumped into the spray arm 1 via a pump, also not shown.
- the connection 3 is arranged on a central axis of rotation A of the spray arm 1.
- nozzles 5 On the hollow body 2 a plurality of nozzles 5 are formed in a first wall 4, can be sprayed via the rinsing liquid not shown in detail ware. Furthermore, one or more drive nozzles 6 can be provided, which ensure a rotation of the spray arm 1 during the rinsing operation.
- the nozzles 5 may be directed upward as shown in the figures. Alternatively, downward orientation is also conceivable in order to clean dishes under the spray arm.
- flow obstacles 8 are arranged in the hollow body 2, which extend from the opposite wall 7 of the hollow body 2 in the direction of the nozzles 5.
- Each flow obstacle 8 is associated with a nozzle 5.
- FIG. 2A a nozzle 5 of a spray arm is shown, as used in the prior art.
- the nozzle 5 is directed upwards and has an exit surface 9, through which the rinsing liquid emerges in a punctiform jet 10. Due to the volume flow, the jet 10 can be varied in intensity in flushing liquid, but not in the geometry. The ray shape thus remains the same.
- the spray arm 1 according to the invention is shown with the flow obstacle 8, which is designed as a pin and has a rounded surface, preferably as a hemisphere, which is arranged adjacent to the nozzle 5.
- the flow obstacle 8 is arranged directly adjacent to the nozzle 5 in front of the circular exit surface 9, so that the flow of the rinsing liquid is influenced on the way into the nozzle 5.
- the shape of a jet 11 is changed out of the nozzle 5, so that due to the peg-shaped flow obstacle 8, the jet emerges from the outlet surface 9 in a cone shape.
- This jet shape can cover a larger area, which is supplied with rinsing liquid.
- a modified flow obstruction 18 is arranged in the spray arm 1, which is designed as a thin pin which projects through the nozzle 5.
- a tip 19 is arranged outside the exit surface 9 of the nozzle 5.
- a spray jet 20 is formed, which is designed as a hollow cone. Due to the cone-shaped spreading of the jet, on the one hand a relatively large spray area is covered and on the other hand the volume flow in the area of the outer surface of the hollow cone jet 20 is greater than in the case of a full cone jet 11.
- a ramp which extends in a wall shape and adjacent to the nozzle 5 is V-shaped, so that directed to the nozzle 5 slopes 29 form.
- the spray jet 30 emerging from the exit surface 9 is formed as a flat jet, widening wedge-shaped.
- FIG. 2E another embodiment of a flow obstacle 38 is shown, which is provided as a helix with a helical channel 39. This helix ends shortly before the exit surface 9 of the nozzle 5, so that the outgoing jet 40 is formed as a vortex jet.
- the flow obstacle 8, 18, 28 and 38 forms a kind of throttle for the nozzle 5, so that due to the predetermined flow conditions adjacent to the nozzle 5, a certain geometry of spray jet 11, 20, 30 or 40 is generated, which may also depend on Volume flow is.
- a certain geometry of spray jet 11, 20, 30 or 40 is generated, which may also depend on Volume flow is.
- a spray arm 1 which, in turn, is designed as a hollow body 2 with a central connection 3, the connection 3 running along a central axis of rotation A is arranged.
- the hollow body 2 has in its upper wall 4 nozzles 5 and also one or more drive nozzles 6.
- nozzles 5 extends within the hollow body 2, starting from the opposite wall 7 each have a flow obstacle 8 'in the direction of a nozzle which is adjustable on the bottom 7 of the Low spray 2 is held.
- the flow obstacle 8 ' is designed as a pin with a rounded surface, wherein on the pin 8' an external thread 9 'is formed, which is in engagement with a thread (not shown) on the wall 7.
- the flow obstacle can be moved closer to the nozzle 5 or away from the nozzle 5 by turning the pin 8 '.
- FIG. 4A the pin 8 'is moved away from the nozzle 5 via a tool, not shown, which is in engagement with a slot 10', so that the influencing of the flow path of the rinsing liquid is reduced and insofar the geometry of the jet emerging from the nozzle 5 is changed ,
- the hemispherical surface is arranged immediately adjacent to the nozzle 5, so that the flow path of the rinsing liquid to the nozzle 5 is relatively strongly influenced, so that the outgoing jet has a fanned-out geometry than in the case of FIG shown position.
- the user can adjust the geometry of the spray jet by manually screwing or unscrewing the pins 8 'on the spray arm 1'.
- FIG. 3 Flow obstacles are shown in the form of pin 8 ', wherein it is of course also possible in the FIGS. 2C to E shown flow obstacles 18, 28 or 38 as needed to provide the individual nozzles 5.
- FIG. 5 a further embodiment of a spray arm 1 according to the invention is shown, which is designed as a hollow body 2 and has a connection 3 around a central axis of rotation 4.
- the hollow body 2 has distributed over the length of a plurality of nozzles 5, wherein drive nozzles 6 are provided as a rotary drive.
- Adjacent to the nozzles 5 are provided as flow obstacles pins 8 "with a rounded surface, but these are not fixedly arranged on the nozzle 5 opposite wall 7 of the hollow body 2, but via a spring element 9" movable. Thereby, the distance of the flow obstacle 8 "to the nozzle 5 is dependent on the pressure within the spray arm 1, so that at increased pump speed, the flow obstacles 8" further pushed away from the nozzle 5 than at low pump speed. As a result, the spray jet is varied from the nozzles 5 depending on the pressure within the spray arm 1.
- FIG. 6A is the storage of in FIG. 5
- the pin 8 is mounted on a helical spring 9", preferably made of steel, the spring 9 "being supported on a receptacle 10" on the wall 7 of the spray arm 1 ".
- FIG. 6B it is also possible to provide on the wall 7 of the spray arm 1, a membrane 9 "', on which then a flow obstacle 8'" is movably mounted in the form of a pin.
- the flow obstacles 8 are either fixedly mounted on the bottom 7, adjustable on the bottom 7 or resiliently on the bottom 7. It is of course also possible to provide different flow obstacles 8 on a spray arm, which are partially fixed, partially adjustable and partially spring-mounted.
- the geometry of the flow obstacles may differ within a spray arm, so that different geometries of spray jets at the individual nozzles 5 can be generated. In this case, instead of a circular exit surface on the nozzle 5, a slot hole or another geometry may be provided.

The present invention poses the problem of providing a dishwasher in which the flushing liquid emerging in the spray jet can be at least partially adapted from simply constructed spray arms.
This object is achieved with a dishwasher having the features of
According to the invention it is provided that within the spray arm in front of at least one nozzle, a flow obstacle for changing the geometry of the spray jet is provided.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the spray arm is designed as a hollow body and a flow obstacle is held on the opposite to the nozzle inner wall of the hollow body. As a result, defined flow channels are formed within the spray arm, so that the exiting fluid generates a spray jet in accordance with the design of the flow obstacle and the nozzle. In order to keep the influence of pressure fluctuations as low as possible, the flow obstacle may protrude to just before the exit surface of the spray jet at the nozzle, for example in a range of less than 4 mm.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the flow obstacle is movable relative to the adjacent nozzle. As a result, the design of the spray jet can be adjusted, wherein both a manual adjustment before flushing and an automatic adjustment can take place, for example, depending on the pressure.
Preferably, a plurality of nozzles are provided distributed over the spray arm, each associated with a flow obstacle. As a result, depending on the seat of the nozzle a suitable flow obstruction of the nozzle can be assigned. For example, in an outer region, flow obstacles are advantageous, which produce a somewhat wider spray jet, while radially inner nozzles on the spray arm can produce a narrower, more powerful jet.
The flow obstacle may preferably be formed as a pin with a rounded surface, so that there is a conical spray. It is also possible to form the flow obstruction as a V-shaped ramp, as a helix, or as a pin to produce a particular spray.

On the hollow body 2 a plurality of
